@Telstra Flood damage, no landline since February 26, no mobile service here ever. Was stranded for two weeks (no power except generator for a couple of hours a day) and I've just got a bill. Customer service impenetrable. Not happy.

@ChiaStillHere Get Starlink. It’s changed my internet life. I kept my adsl2+ for a few months after getting starlink as a backup, but just got rid of it the other day as as usual, Telstra failed and that was it. Cancelled! So from 10mbps down to 100-200down, there’s no going back for me.

@Telstra Well I'm not in blacktown anymore since we've returned to our home, which thankfully was not flooded out by a margin of some 40cm water height below us. I will say however, this 4GX modem of yours *constantly* has problems with the firmware just not wanting to connect properly...

Looks like @NBN_Australia has cancelled our BOOKED job for today without notification (to us or telstra). @Telstra who booked the job was no help. Would get a supervisor to call me back. Second time this has happened.

Monday 21 March 2022 Hope Island Resort Bodies Corporate Internet network customers. There was a fibre breakage this morning on the Telstra fibre between HIR and Southport. That was fixed. Download speeds are OK but upload speeds are severely restricted. Telstra is on it.
