  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I overpaid one bill and @Telstra posted me a cheque. I’ve been a customer nearly a decade and they Posted A cheque. A. Cheque. FFS

  • LapTop006 Julien Goodwin (@LapTop006) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@yaakov_h @Telstra I mean Telstra doesn't peer deeply, that's been an issue forever.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ScottRhodie @Telstra Go for it. I’ll support you. I’ve had similar annoying conversations with them. If you have a history of late and failed payments, I might understand pointing you to a DD. If I can pay my utilities on invoice, no service should insist on a DD. #legislationNow

  • Rickmindgone RickMindgone. (@Rickmindgone) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Does anyone know a senior exec contact at Telstra so I can get the correct support? Id be most grateful. DM if u prefer.

  • LJPatton Laurie Patton is The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

DAY FIVE trying to get some customer service from @Telstra!

  • 3bsBruce Richard (@3bsBruce) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Getting help from the @Telstra chat service is like pulling teeth. None of them seem to know anything, you get transferred around and the next person never reads what the last person went through.

  • bigyahu alan jones (he/him) (@bigyahu) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NickyWill100 @vkhosla I’d been a Telstra customer previously until they launched a startup directly competing with a startup I’d cofounded. They blew out our acquisition cost so much (because they didn’t really care) that they were killing us. So I couldn’t wait to leave them.

  • d2832cd804534b9 PinarooRay (@d2832cd804534b9) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@mazt_t @turnbull1949 They use pretty sophisticated computerised robo calls I'm told. The computer dials numbers at random and so on. You can't block it because it has never called before and bypasses the do not call register. Try calling Telstra, they cannot advise any real method to stop it.

  • robin_afd Robin Leonard (@robin_afd) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    Woah Telstra outage

  • NickyWill100 Nicky Williamson 🌏✈️💚💛 (@NickyWill100) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@bigyahu @vkhosla So many wanted to leave Telstra! Funnily enough when Orange took over Hutch, the place became idiot startup central burning cash like it was confetti (have experienced that twice). They made fun of the Hutch founder for counting tp rolls. He had to come back and right the ship.

  • Rickmindgone RickMindgone. (@Rickmindgone) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

After seventeen weeks of dealing with Telstra ( contact Maxine) to correctly install my iphone. Today they accidentally ****** up my phone connection. I now have no signal and Telstra ( Maxine) can not help

  • paulkneipp Paul Kneipp (@paulkneipp) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@slsandpet With Optus for 10 years. When I moved, I asked them to connect me at the new place. No, they said, we have no service there. Telstra came, the tech pointed and said “that’s an Optus box there”. I was assured that emails would continue for 3 months. Account deleted in 24 hours.

  • jonesytheteachr Brendan Jones 🚴 (@jonesytheteachr) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@telstra is there an outage in 2261?

  • daveray99 Dave Ray (@daveray99) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Am I the only person thinking @Telstra's "5G" mobile network is utter trash? For the last week it's been abysmal. And yes: I've cleared the cache and restarted my device.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I was going to post a picture here of the CHEQUE @Telstra sent me for an overpayment of $25.16 🙄 , you know, for people who’ve never seen one before, but realised to blank out all the info was too much work.

  • 3bsBruce Richard (@3bsBruce) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Ok, I’ll buy the prepaid card to cover me for two weeks and port my number across to that. Oh sorry, we don’t sell the prepaid cards for our service in our @telstra shop. You have to go to a supermarket.

  • shanon_p Shan (@shanon_p) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @Josh_B_Rosner Cas, have you ever used chat support? You’d get more support talking to a wall.

  • JPMasters JPMasters (He/Him/They/Them) (@JPMasters) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@lesstenny @RNBreakfast I wasn’t listening this morning, but my thoughts are, rain - our infrastructure never considered there would be rain, mobile coverage infrastructure not keeping up with demand (I am 13km from Sydney GPO on a high point - hopeless with both Telstra and Optus), and NBN no doubt.

  • scibidoo Jamie (@scibidoo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@phillipwmoore49 @Telstra @Qantas Telstra are great, you've just got to be persistent. They didn't suffer at all during the pandemic in fact no doubt their business grew. Qantas like most airlines suffered a lot! My Qantas issue is 70,000 in their Queue and internal contact said maybe 2023 before they respond!

  • Cal_O_Rynn Cal 🌻🏊🏼‍♀️ ♐️ 🇦🇺 (@Cal_O_Rynn) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Maddy_Pappas_ @startrack Dispatched by Telstra yesterday. Stuffed up today. Disappointing is a silly thing to be, first world problems & all. But they can even tell me when I will get it now.

@jriewolod @Telstra So sorry to hear .. you can absolutely contest this with the TeleCommunications Ombudsman- Telstra are gutless and have stitched up so many people for decades .. best of luck with all the family issues .. I have soft spot for your dear family Tigers 🐯

  • number30five seán (@number30five) reported

@Kermitron they just do not give a ****. I mean, they're not the worst & at least they're not telstra or optus, but goddamn... I wish there was an alternative mid-range provider, but they're all owned by TPG

  • Gregeve98 Greg (@Gregeve98) reported

wonder if the Tocumwal Telstra tower will be working by 6pm tonight or will there be another delay, love to know why its taking so long to fix, 5G went in it not long ago @Telstra

  • number30five seán (@number30five) reported

@Kermitron $95/month for Telstra's 50Mbs plan is $25 more than what I'm paying TPG atm for the same speeds. Don't think I can really justify that, but I'm glad to know its out there in case TPG properly **** the bed again.

  • Danielx64 Daniel ★ (@Danielx64) reported

@Telstra is there a known issue within the Telstra app where you can't switch billing accounts? I have 2 accounts (home and work) and can only pull up the bill for one account.

  • NotSwagman Not_so_Jolly_Swagman 🕯🗣 (@NotSwagman) reported

@Telstra See there is the problem. You don’t even bother to listen & understand. Ashlyn fixed it! Over the phone! While 25 hours of chatline BS didn’t. The chatline promised a real phone call this morning at 9, but still hasn’t delivered. You are a COMMUNICATION company???? NO??

  • Kermitron anarchopriapist (@Kermitron) reported

@number30five iiNet was the fan favourite then TPG bought them out. I never thought I'd go with Telstra for my ISP but yeah, they're actually decent now I guess?

  • theozseawitch Ursula (@theozseawitch) reported

@Telstra After some time & phone calls sorted. The worst was mum repeatedly being sold mobile phones & expensive plans when she had no ability to use a mobile. The other ludicrous one someone at Telstra telling mum she should be able to take over the residential care main WiFi for her own

  • Jon71Wilson jon wilson (@Jon71Wilson) reported

@Telstra lost this customer going to Optus

  • NotSwagman Not_so_Jolly_Swagman 🕯🗣 (@NotSwagman) reported

@Telstra Why is it so hard to talk to a human being? When you’ve been screwed around by chat lines for hours & hours, why can’t a complex problem be escalated to a real phone call. Just a suggestion
