  • willdeasy Will Deasy (@willdeasy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Wtf @Telstra I just called your helpline and was added to someone's private work conference call instantly. Serious privacy breach

  • laurenjcapelin Lauren Capelin ⚡️ (@laurenjcapelin) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@annie_parker @slace @Telstra It’s so bullshit. Optus just as bad and it takes up to 48 hrs for it to let you know you’ve hit your limits. In this real time world that is criminal I reckon.

  • sharpielaw Andrew sharpe (@sharpielaw) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra So the promised high priority call from @Telstra never came. Surprise surprise. They just don’t give a damn.

  • claudiajayne_ Claudia Jayne (@claudiajayne_) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Help me @Telstra ... my "Unlimited" internet has found a limit. We have no internet and the ppl on the phone said we have to wait until tomorrow for level 2. I need to send and recieve tcp/ip and udp packets ASAP. Please help. We've had to resort to face to face communication...

  • Colgo Paul Colgan (@Colgo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

This is eh, not the point Foxtel is like Telstra in the pre-Thodey days. People actively hate it. Needs a customer focused CEO.

  • prleeds Phillip Leeds (@prleeds) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

...operator arranged extra mobile data at no cost and a new modem that switches to mobile data when the wifi drops out. Waived the usual delivery charge, too. Very helpful, good service. @Telstra

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

The internet is down. Our house is dark, turns out I have teenagers ... lol ... they are so sad face right now. No, daddy can’t be arsed to all Telstra

  • mak35h MAK35H (@mak35h) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 crappy service...promised something and gave a entirely opposite service

  • MopOfVirtue The Mop of Virtue (@MopOfVirtue) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra your internet is down in Concord... again... after being down for half a month and up again for a week. This is bloody pathetic.

  • oceanswims oceanswims (@oceanswims) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hey @Telstra, how does this work... I cancel a broadband cable that I’ve had with you for years to avoid being forced onto NBN, and instead I commit to you for 3 years with home hub. And you want to charge me cancellation fees. Please explain the sense in that.

  • LisaStoj Lisa Stojanovski (@LisaStoj) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Constababble @questacon @ourANU @Shell @Westpac @Telstra @Xero There has been a struggle to find candidates ever since they started charging fees (2017 onwards). Myself, yourself and other success stories are pushed as marketing -> but perhaps it’s indicative of a wider issue.

  • prleeds Phillip Leeds (@prleeds) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Got up this morning and the internet was not working. Telstra app initially said there was an outage but no projection on when it would be fixed. Decided to call. Told outage could be until sometime Friday. Asked what they could do to help us out...

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Telstra: we don’t support that modem, you can only use a Telstra modem. Seems I am not sending this from my new non Telstra slowdem.

  • deepbona deepak (@deepbona) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra So no response from in anyone in Telstra. My new complaint manager was meant to call 2 weeks ago. I spoke to Telstra support

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Been a glorious 3 days with the NBN down. Apparently Telstra are going to actually show up today. It’s been kind of nice tbh.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Galston, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I can't log in, as I don't know the password on the Kayo account, and the address Telstra used doesn't have email attached. I can't cancel it in the my.telstra portal either.

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Almost 2 hours got get Telstra Big Pond wombles to reset the NBN password. And I know what I’m talking about ... good luck if youre not network savvy. No I don’t want to use your shitty router, I want to use my good one

  • sharpielaw Andrew sharpe (@sharpielaw) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Update: The half hour wait estimate was generous, it appears. I just hung up after an hour and a half wait on hold for the portability team. @telstra clearly has no respect for its its customers and is quite content to treat them with contempt. #telstrasloths #appallingservice

  • EICostheta Reg Boyle (@EICostheta) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@SaveOurForests_ That Victorian brown coal power station was owned by carpetbagging French. Should NEVER have been built and none of those Elect suppliers say where they're based. Optus is Singapore. Telstra did no one any favours.

  • sharpielaw Andrew sharpe (@sharpielaw) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Tim My 30 September order remains unfulfilled (promised fulfilment date 10/10). I can’t contact anyone from porting team. I’ve tried repeatedly & spent hours on hold. Whole process is impenetrable. No one I contact will fix it. Worst customer experience ever. HELP!!!

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Zeggie8 Zeggie (@Zeggie8) reported

@michaelje @simondotau @PRGuy17 You can opt out. Not sure that Telstra would facilitate that for a mobile customer, nor for free. No real reason why any person would request this in the first place.

  • LukeCar13907972 Luke Carter (@LukeCar13907972) reported

@innocent_abroad @mal2153 @MikeCarlton01 Everyone needs to know 2 things, Vodaphone (3) built a large portion of the Telstra network and Optus built the cable connections too US and the optic fibre connect on the east coast. So privatisation worked for us in telecom!

  • SAPaleAle SAPaleAle (@SAPaleAle) reported

@Telstra It has just appeared and I have never used the app for business and there is no linking information in the app. As I said this is a massive invasion of my privacy

  • VeronicaKerrie Veronica D Voted Labor People Climate Matter (@VeronicaKerrie) reported

Damn it @PRGuy17 never lending you my Telstra mobile again. You made an account without telling me!! #TakeTheBetAvi and prove it wasn’t my phone.

  • Curlymoelarry3 David Downs (@Curlymoelarry3) reported

  • cwrishood cwris (@cwrishood) reported

@ben14271032 @simondotau @PRGuy17 doesn't it just mean they use Telstra network, not necessarily customer? e.g. Aldi customers use Telstra network (does Telstra still assign IP for Aldi customers?)

  • ChristieQ95 Christie Quigley (@ChristieQ95) reported

@Telstra I am trying to cancel my contract from the UK. Can’t access the app, and no one has responded to my messages. Sim never worked so don’t have access to phone number. Been charged another month as we can’t cancel. Please help

  • antizeroalt Pjh (@antizeroalt) reported

@UncleMatt29 @Tsarinasalma Poor example, given that Telstra was terrible as a nationalised business, and NBN Co is terrible

  • wilma_domjan Wilma Domjan (@wilma_domjan) reported

@Telstra @TelstraEnt To late. Having to pay a phone plan when there is no service I don’t use Telstra.

  • RCoops1978 Rob Bhai (@RCoops1978) reported

@innocent_abroad @mal2153 @MikeCarlton01 Telstra wasn't privatised for another 10 years after the entry of Optus So that is not a success of privatisation that is a success of deregulation Once we privatised Telstra the infrastructure turned to **** and the competition started to slide Nice try tho
