  • fiiingers Fred (@fiiingers) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Too late . I left. You all are so curious when we leave. Simple.. improve customer service. Respond quickly & efficiently. Not hard. But it is for telstra/foxtel customers.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@erietta @Telstra It all comes down to well trained - well resourced support staff. I had to repeatedly explain the situation to agents acting like it’s my first enquiry. They all said they were limited in what they could see, so I had to copy/paste earlier conversations for them. Poorly resourced

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cameron_rogers I’ve been in aus 12.5 years and know many very smart people, some who run successful businesses, and all have experienced terrible service fro @Telstra - and no,not being picky, but being told they bought X and received 8. That’s bad. Seriously bad. Inexcusable. And repeated.

  • Burgo0806 Courtney (@Burgo0806) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@triff81 @Telstra Haha, their customer service is ****! I was looking at becoming a customer and bringing 3 contracts across, yet they couldn’t help me.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@erietta @Telstra Jeez Louise. I could literally write a book. And my experience has only been one mobile service. I have no idea how people with TV, internet and mobile services stay sane. 1/2

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cameron_rogers I’ve been in many Telstra offices. There is no shortage of money there. But most customers face the poorly paid and badly trained support staff while the company focusses 95% on shares and dividends. Is that a good thing?

  • matteightyate Matt Wicks (@matteightyate) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra is there someone who can actually help me? Got some AirPod pros throughly Telstra rewards which were DOA. support chat person said I need to go into a store to swap them over but person in the store said I needed an invoice with a serial number (Telstra did not send one)

  • Derekjw Derek Williamson (@Derekjw) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@telstra why is it OK to set a connection appointment time of “between 8am and 5pm” to get a new connection. Expect people to wait all day then not turn up. #stoodup THREE times. Not one but THREE. And now saying no more appointments until Nov 17. Cancel contract if U have NFTG

  • MC2Cities 💧MC2 (@MC2Cities) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra My access has been revoked! What is the tech support number. I need to speak to a person not a robot

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra 1 hour 10 minutes and still on hold. Horrible customer service

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I know many brilliant people who have worked at Telstra, i also know many have fought hard for the customer. The human. The people who consume the service. I need to ask: is there something elemental in big orgs that impede CX success? 2/2

  • Sonic_Booth Wrong Glass Sir (@Sonic_Booth) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@lucyssfc Nrl app, if you are a telstra customer it's free streaming

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I could write a book on my decade of interactions with @Telstra and the dozens of crap interactions. Layering the many other people who’ve had terrible interactions, it’s clear CX is failing on many, many levels. 1/2

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@erietta @Telstra The company says one thing while hiring excellent people to do the opposite. I know I’m a grumpy complainer who’s vocal about not-picking but it’s not on that raising one issue creates several more in its wake. Repeatedly. And if there were real competition it wouldn’t happen.

  • BeauGiles Beau (@BeauGiles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@kemal_atlay @Telstra Bad bot is bad. Does FaceTime or Facebook Messenger etc work - so you know the speaker / microphone works? (Sorry if you’ve already done this) Then you can go back to yelling at the bot. Good luck!

Dilation drops in Eye pictures took And @Telstra decides to call me several times during the whole process. A Filipino-accent and something about following up a complaint. I did a reverse-lookup and saw a number of complaints against calls to and from that number. FFS

  • neilwrites Neil Varcoe (@neilwrites) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra No but I'd love your help. My Internet is down, and I have an online presentation in a few hours. I've tried phone and chat and can't get assistance.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@erietta @Telstra I have met zero people who rate the quality of customer experience above 1. From training support staff to “not my department “ and “that’s no how the system works” messages I sincerely don’t see a customer centric construct.

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra on hold waiting to talk to somebody for almost 40 minutes and still waiting, really poor service

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra 1 hour and 20 minutes on hold. It’s becoming laughable know. Seriously you need to fix up your customer service and employ more people to man the phones

  • aroha_groves Aroha Groves #Always (@aroha_groves) reported

So @Telstra kept me on the phone for over an hour yesterday. Have no phone service now while they migrate my service to a new service which was supposed to happen 22/06/2022. Luckily i have other net in the house too and am quite aware of voip apps. #auspol

  • skyalin Cin (@skyalin) reported

@Telstra Suggesting an impossible upgrade to someone experiencing a fault is peak customer service. 👍👍

  • Jess_H19 Jess H (@Jess_H19) reported

@Telstra I'm already chatting to them. 45 mins later, 3 different people and still going around in circles. Typical Telstra. Make it near impossible to report poor mobile signal in rural Vic and then tell us there's nothing wrong with mobile signal coverage.

  • GailCCallaghan Gail🇳🇿 (@GailCCallaghan) reported

@KiwiFunknuckle @Optus We are taking over a business my husband has been a contracting to for 30yrs. A friend gave us an iPhone 6 got a telstra sim card (only telstra has service here), basic plan $47 a month. Don't need data just a dedicated phone. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan.

  • Jess_H19 Jess H (@Jess_H19) reported

@Telstra The chat link takes me to My Telstra - same My Telstra that just wasted 90 mins of my time already. How about making rural mobile signal issues easy to report so that they can be fixed!

  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported

@sendai @backupbear @Telstra Do you keep a backup service now? This is the first time I've been without service for the whole day down there- was a bit worrying if things were bad when I arrived but thankfully it was all ok.

  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported

@sueleelim @Telstra I hope they update their network access so folks can resolve this kind of thing while - using their service.

  • IanSamuels3 Ian Samuels. Albo's lefties! (@IanSamuels3) reported

@KiwiFunknuckle @Optus That's why I stay with Telstra. At least with them you have no f**k ups. Well I never have anyway. Tried Optus years ago. It took me a week to set up!

  • achard Chard (@achard) reported

@antizeroalt @misguidedjenni @MichaelWestBiz Telecoms.. like Telstra.. where we had to buy back the pits for billions of dollars to make NBN work? Where prices went up, service got worse, corners were cut so that shareholders could get their pound of flesh?

  • sendai sendai (@sendai) reported

@steveathon @backupbear @Telstra Another bonus you may experience, wait until they do make the charge but then don't reactivate your service because their payment systems don't talk to their reactivation for at least 24h (happened to me the weekend the Northern Rivers flooded).
