Andrew Best shaving yaks ... mking endorphins (@AUSFestivus) reported from Hornsby, New South Wales@yayKM Telstra has always run it afaik. They seem to do a good job. I can only recall a single widespread outage a few years back.
-
Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Galston, New South Wales@Telstra I can't log in, as I don't know the password on the Kayo account, and the address Telstra used doesn't have email attached. I can't cancel it in the my.telstra portal either.

The Apostropher Royal (@GrammarTsar) reportedTelstra didn't just wait a bit too long to replace servers. They were 10 years beyond their maintenance life. And I'll bet all the senior managers got bonuses for driving costs down & profits up by not replacing them. #Insiders
-
Andrew (@andrewrdn463) reportedTelstra has sent "Sorry we let you down" emails to customers but are deleting complaints. VICKI BRADY MUST RESIGN.
-
Dan (@danbengol) reported@daz930 @TerenceMcCart14 Costs for the land from Council. The advertising revenue more than covers the network costs and is a profit centre for Telstra. Since suburban ones would be running at a loss, but under city/CBD highly profitable. Run mix of Telstra and 3rd party advertising.
-
ARTCvan 🍉 (@ARTCvan) reported@Naymmm_ @stupidtechtakes *actually the governments fault for whatever stupid reason, they forced Telstra/TPG/Optus to do these blanket bans on VoLTE capable devices if they weren’t sold locally for whatever reason
-
JimmytheAustralian🇦🇺 (@TheRealShibLee) reported@GutsB35378 @indicmawntee Eat **** like you normally do telstra tech support.
-
Bwad (@bwad) reported@Telstra You are the most expensive telco by far, when things go so badly wrong, compensation is expected. No network is perfect but when you go down nationwide we expect you to step up and show us you really understand the problems you caused people.
-
theconspiracyanalyst. (@theconspir37711) reported@strangerous10 Telstra has 2,516 Indian based employees. This number includes 1,500 engineering/technology roles and other IT/back-office positions. The issues that Telstra has been suffering over the past few years are software Exporting your product to cheap labour delivers poor outcomes.
-
Tim (@BattleSideTim) reported@Nolongerscot @madwixxy @BarbaraHFlowers Well it sort of is an emergency if it’s not going through & the Minister in charge was rushing back from holidays.I mean let’s apportion blame to the relevant minister here & Telstra who wanted exclusivity. At least we now know we need a back up,as it affected a lot of industries as well as 000. So quite a potentially dangerous situation & thanks for the spelling correction.Silly me.
-
Andrew Bishop (@AndrewB12983801) reported@therevaknight vline should have had a fallback plan for if telstra had issues
-
Craig B (@wikikeeper) reported@strangerous10 ..nationalise 000 ..& fund it from the billions of $ profit Telstra & the like make ..a proper fully funded universal service obligation
