  @Telstra I can't log in, as I don't know the password on the Kayo account, and the address Telstra used doesn't have email attached. I can't cancel it in the my.telstra portal either.

  @yayKM Telstra has always run it afaik. They seem to do a good job. I can only recall a single widespread outage a few years back.

  @jasonjordan @ScottRhodie @deemadigan @Telstra 95/36 FTTC /w @Aussie_BB. NCD drops and resyncs about once a day currently which is mildly annoying. Currently getting the 100Mbit plan for the price of the 50 for six months. Also get a $50 credit for each customer that signs up by referral.

  @strangerous10 Telstra had a risk assessment signed off by the PM which said mitigations in place to isolate any faults, which were unlikely, & consequences was rated low. This meant the expenditure could be deferred. It was not a technical or a people problem. It was a pass the buck problem.

  So the government can spam all our phones but they can’t stop the curry muncher scammers from calling us under the pretence of - solar panels, batteries, Telstra tech support, ANZ Bank security executive - lol that last one was hilarious. given I knew head of security of a large corporation and nobody in head office would be calling customers.   Apparently of the 604 failed emergency calls on Telstra network, only 172 were successful. This raises a question whether these calls were made in Telstra only cells. If yes, this raises a possible use case for satellite, for roaming carriers to beam to these cells for emergency.

  @cptcapt Alex is always tackling the big stuff - the dates he worked at Telstra 😵‍💫 whilst ignoring the actual issue of suing for losing his job & him finding out the hard way he didn’t have a leg to stand on. That he calls you names on every occasion shows the low intellect of Alex.
