@Telstra Thanks Renee, I will try again I think the only solution is a new tower. I have spoken to the Telstra regional manager who mentioned Hazeldenes chickens (Business) may be putting in their own tower in Lockwood that may help.

Telstra is moving away from 3G as it looks to 4G and 5G as its networks of the future. According to Telstra, the 4G coverage outside my house should be good. So long as you can place a call outside, they don’t seem to think it’s a serious issue.

@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

@thebradfitz I moved to Belong a couple of months ago. It's owned by Telstra and uses their network but much cheaper. Best decision - better coverage but without the premium of the Telstra name

Vodafone, anyone use them? Is their service coverage ok? Looking at changing from Telstra, just want to gauge if it’s worth it

@ChilchikMusic @Telstra Hey Sophie from @telstra if you just did a search here on Twitter for "Telstra esim" you will see that the issue is more widespread than "some requests" and oh yes no luck for me too yet this morning so no there was no resolution "around 7pm last night" as you claim

@Telstra Yes. Received an sms saying telstra is working on the issue... 2 weeks ago. What is going on? Can't get work done!

.@Telstra when will you resolve the known data drop outs on esim services on Samsung s21 ultra? 3 months in, sub-par support. Disappointing!

@TheMonolith_TV @Telstra If they only put that much effort into making the service actually good. After the disconnection they're tryin' to offer me another plan... Like WTF, they're predatory almost.

@Telstra Seriously? I've been following up with them more they have even looked into the fault. "We'll call you in 2 days", no call. Poor. Cancelling and not paying outstanding bills by end of month if not resolved.

The Oz gov't has to pay/force Telstra to provide service in remote communities as there isn't much of a business case to provide service in many areas due to low population density and low demand for service. 2/2

@elronxenu @Lac_Of_Adhesion transferring the iinet adsl connection when we moved some 8 or so years ago (pre-merger) was painful but typical telstra fuckery. and then post merger, any fault (the copper round here is awful) was an exercise in extreme aggravation.

@VOCMOpenline you've got unrealistic expectations for what increased competition will do for Baie Verte cell service. In Oz, there's lots of competition in the cities, but aside from Telstra and occasionally Optus, regional Australia and the Outback are ignored. 1/2
