@Telstra Thanks Renee, I will try again I think the only solution is a new tower. I have spoken to the Telstra regional manager who mentioned Hazeldenes chickens (Business) may be putting in their own tower in Lockwood that may help.

Telstra is moving away from 3G as it looks to 4G and 5G as its networks of the future. According to Telstra, the 4G coverage outside my house should be good. So long as you can place a call outside, they don’t seem to think it’s a serious issue.

  • tracey_68
Tracey Marshall (@tracey_68) reported from Bendigo, Victoria

@Telstra Good Afternoon, what is happening with 4g in Kangaroo Flat, Victoria. We have no service. Not happy.

@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

Brian Turner (@turnerbt3351) reported from Bendigo, Victoria

Does anyone know how you get a staff member at Telstra to respond to a service issue you have? If you have a solution to this one that would be good.

How does one actually get @Telstra technical support since the pandemic started in March? My NBN has speed is verging on dial up & no one answers the phone or chat to even troubleshoot it. Can we all get a 9month credit to cover the time you've abandoned your customers?

  • ToshiChatzalot
    Toshi (@ToshiChatzalot) reported

@Telstra They never came out and I never got any text messages saying they were not coming

  • bolangum

@alexeiw123 @BJafari In my particular neck of the woods Optus is better, cheaper, and their customer service is superior to Telstra. To access Telstra mobile internet for home, Yagi $1400 aerial was bought. (no NBN, never will be, satellite too ropey and expensive for my pensioner parents)

  • Ryan_Makepeace
    Ryan Makepeace (@Ryan_Makepeace) reported

@Telstra Yes, 5% into it and it decided I needed to talk to a person to resolve the issue.

  • SommervilleMark
    Mark Sommerville (@SommervilleMark) reported

@Telstra I told these bastards I'd pay them in full on a certain date. I don't was only 1 month behind, been with them 20months. They disconnected my nbn and phone the day before I said I'd pay. Just in time for Xmas. Telstra are low life scum. I swore I'd never use them again. Aassholes

  • patoiswife
    Rosie Mullaly (@patoiswife) reported

@Picketer Here’s a tip ... complain to the Telco Ombudsman, just takes a call. It’s a requirement then that a real human contact you from Telstra and deal with the issue. They throw a fair bit of effort to resolving anything that’s been raised with the TIO. Worked for me during lock-down.

  • RenInOz
    Renee Pope-Munro (@RenInOz) reported

@conciergemaree @9Netball Best thing about being a Telstra customer, hands down.

  • ReallyTrulyGod

@Adam_Creighton For a supposed economist you are an idiot. Many big companies such as Telstra have literally had an "all roles flexible" approach for years. That means working from home. Do you think they would do that if it didn't make economic sense? What a buffoon you are.

  • lindawhiteaus
    Linda White ✊️ (@lindawhiteaus) reported

@Picketer @Telstra I share your pain — had the same problem with NBN connection

  • justsayingDMY

@Picketer @Telstra Tell them you want to disconnect your service. 😜
