I'm an #Optus customer, so if a hacker now has my #Optus email address, all I have to do is change to Telstra, or other Server and voila...one problem is solved! 🙌🙌🙌

@bothers_29 @Telstra NBN not much better but at least they finally admitted an outage. In the meantime I’ve unplugged and replugged every outlet in the house and dislodged numerous furious Daddy Long Leg spiders. (Sorry spidey friends, please keep up the war against those arsehole white-tails).

Experiencing yet another @NBN_Australia/@Telstra outage in Ferntree Gully. This one is so bad it appears to have also taken down Telstra's mobile data network. Thankfully I also have one dinky @Optus mobile that gives me a sliver of backup Internet.

@FoxyHardy @RobPeffer It is currently ‘guaranteed’ by legislation but if past efforts are anything to go by (ahem Telstra) then any service obligation provided by Auspost will be not fit for purpose.

@NBN_Australia @Telstra So @NBN_Australia has advised that they are having to replace damaged cabling and a power supply, which is requiring civil works (so who knows how long this outage is going to last? 🤷). On Sunday evening there was a power glitch in the area, that caused my lights to flicker and safety switch to trip, so evidently the NBN's infrastructure either caused the glitch or it's electrical protections suck.
