Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Rockingham and nearby locations:

  • FrChrisBedding Father Chris (@FrChrisBedding) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

The gentleman suggested Complaints. So I asked to be put through. But Complaints is not open on the weekend. I asked if there was anyone in the whole organisation who could help me. He said no. I thanked him for clarifying why we are leaving @Telstra

  • TheDaleJT Dale (@TheDaleJT) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Well good thing I didn’t hold my breathe. Was told I’d get a call back from complaints officer. Been a week received received an email for feedback on the “outcome of my recently resolved complaint”. Yet another “promise” this joke of a company can’t keep. Asshats.

  • ianpolson Ian Olson (@ianpolson) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Hi Tim. 1/ The team advised (after 4 days of bouncing between different departments) that the problem would be solved in another 24-48 hours but they didn’t want to “set unreasonably high expectations” and would “be in touch”...

  • ianpolson Ian Olson (@ianpolson) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra 3/ Tim, these actions by @Telstra management in trying to reduce costs have rendered your business incapable of efficiently dealing with even basic customer service or technical queries. Your attempts to innovate using “automation” are of little consequence.

  • Birdman196007 🎃 Mushing Watermelon🍉 (@Birdman196007) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

So please call 61177160 rather than our normal 94125700, until Telstra corrects the problem at an unknown time in the future. Please share as we are worried that emergency patients particularly may suffer if owners and vets cannot contact us after hours.

  • JasonKeegan1973 Jason Keegan (@JasonKeegan1973) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Gotta love Telstra using a song off the mighty Megadeth's 1st album for one of their ads! About time there was some decent music on tv compared to the utter shit that is usually brought out these days. #metalkicksass

  • glen_foreman Glen Foreman (@glen_foreman) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@TheSportsFreak @SevenPerth @AFL @Foxtel Have a soul, so VIC thing no issue 😉 Kids + my own sport in an hour, rules out pub. Unfortunately not a @Telstra customer for the same reason I had to ditch @Foxtel (💲💲). And love @abcgrandstand coverage, but nothing beats pictures. Your point is valid tho: 1st world problem

  • TheDaleJT Dale (@TheDaleJT) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra INT 1-2182984659100 Just had online chat with Rochelle who assured me she would transfer me to velocity to resolve my complaint as she cant arrange call back. Even though I said they would be closed she called me & transferred me to a closed call centre. Telstra is insufferable

  • yGrael Gav (@yGrael) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@deemadigan @TaodeHaas @Telstra @Telstra are the single worse company this country has produced. As far as I'm in they woud need to pay me,4 the rest of my days, to have an account with them again. For pain & suffering and time spent on fruitless calls to fix fk ups. 🖕#FuckYouTelstra🖕

  • ianpolson Ian Olson (@ianpolson) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra 4/ when you have dismantled and dismembered any semblance of cohesive customer support in the name of cost. Revenue shrinkage will surely follow thus rendering your cost reduction ambitions a fools errand. I’m a shareholder and as a customer but likely neither for much longer...

  • ianpolson Ian Olson (@ianpolson) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra 2/ Tim, your business has systematically gone about dismantling any intelligent and capable customer support/service capability over the past 10+ years so my beef isn’t with the poor souls in your call centers who scroll through scripts to try and resolve issues...

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@MurraySmythe They will investigate if >4 nuisance calls from the same number. Problem the fraudsters use lots of different numbers, even no number coming up as 'call overseas" or 'private' blocking identity. #Telstra & #Govt should have laws about unsolicited calls. Proving is problem for us

  • FrChrisBedding Father Chris (@FrChrisBedding) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

So now @Telstra has cut off the landline, without being asked. So so can’t port the number to iiNet. So I call Telstra. But it’s a business number, and the business team don’t work on weekends. So I ask to speak to someone ANYONE who can help.

  • TheDaleJT Dale (@TheDaleJT) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Would it be at all possible to speak to someone who can actually help with my bundle billing. I don’t want to have to talk to three different Dept to resolve this issue. It’s a bundle account for a reason. Your customer service is deplorable

  • lettermania luke halden (@lettermania) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra when it has been over a week that elderly customers can't get online or have a home phone #nbn but support tells them to do the same thing and expect different results #insanity

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@cheryl_kernot @Senator_Patrick Cherry is correct. I was made redundant by @Telstra. Most if not all of the operation is now based either in India or the Philippines. This outsourcing would never have happened under Govt ownership. TI #sayNo

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@mormorlady @rubin_angela I had one claim to be from Telstra. I asked for a reference number, which I wrote down (has lots of r for rats in it) then I asked for her supervisors telephone number, & she hung up. Deducted she was a fraud. Normally I just don't bother with time wasters.Tell them FO & hang up.

  • RavenGypsyMask Matty H, Aussie By Birth, Kansas City by Brainwash (@RavenGypsyMask) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Telstra TV, or get your ass to a venue near you, if I can you can. Like me show your support for all netball organisations and the sport in general, let's get the support for this game that it deserves, let's get the funding for this game that it deserves. IN FACT LET'S GET

  • petedavo_au Peter Davidson 🇦🇺 (@petedavo_au) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@NewtonMark I'd wager that the Telstra Gen 2 smart modem is probably the direct cause of network congestion. Nice touch though to hide NBN disconnections with a fallover to 4G

  • castiblancolya1 castiblanco_l@yahoo.es (@castiblancolya1) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

It’s ridiculous that a company like #Telstra does what it likes with the users and there is no entity that regulate them, Telstra charges its fees in #Australia but operates from overseas with people who don’t care about the service and doesn’t even know what they are talking ab.

  • CPF62390056 C.P.F. (@CPF62390056) reported

@ACurrentAffair9 Good on telstra, never thought I would say that, but it just seems relentless

  • adamjonwilliams Adam Williams (@adamjonwilliams) reported

hey @telstra, could you update your mobile bill you send to people to include the total data used - this way we can migrate down to smaller plans where we arent going close to the data on the current plan. Included but no total - to avoid exactly that?

  • JustJamieB90 Jamie B (@JustJamieB90) reported

@GeelongCats @Telstra I love you Geelong. But Telstra are scum. Never use them again. Near a decade of grief cause by an error on there end, and not so much as an apology when I finally proved there wrong doing. #FuckTelstra

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported

After waiting 4 days to speak to Telstra Complaints I finally get an email for my 'urgent' complaint. Now that I've called them (midnight in New York), I'm by reception they cannot transfer me to anyone. @telstra your complaints team seems to be as faulty as your services.

  • BenjiDubs Ben W (@BenjiDubs) reported

@decryption Telstra Button-4-4-5-6 *idiot child runs away laughing*

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported

@Telstra If you didn't want this experience - then you would have actually had working products - your service is disgraceful and your support is non-existent.

  • arnottchris Chris Arnott (@arnottchris) reported

@alexmakin @Telstra They don't care about customers. Their focus is acquisition of customers, but not providing a service. The fact that this has taken 4 days for a publicly listed ASX200 company to even begin to address perfectly exhibits their contempt for their customers

  • SAPaleAle SAPaleAle (@SAPaleAle) reported

@Telstra Also I tried to change plan and it took me thru a shopping cart process then told me I don't have a service to upgrade. Will use the website tonight to see if it works

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported

@arnottchris @Telstra I went with Telstra back in 2012 when I had regional/rural clients, but really there's no reason to keep them - especially since their roaming services fail to work in New York City which I'd hardly call non-metro.
