@DONTCHIPMEBRO @NorelleFeehan @Telstra No, but promoting tinfoil hat conspiracy theories does suggest someone is an idiot.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @NorelleFeehan @Telstra You exist in a chaotic universe on the outer spiral arm of a minor galaxy around an unremarkable star on a miraculous planet. Yes conspiracy theories can be comforting but it is a selfish neurosis. I have never met a conspiracy theorist who volunteers for anything. All selfish.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Oh and just to trigger all the idiots, sent from my 5G phone. Never felt better. I love it. Thank you @Telstra Looking forward to mmWave if the new @Samsung Note 20 supports it (deciding if to upgrade or not).

  • Ian__P Ian (@Ian__P) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@marcuskelson @Telstra Don't direct debit with Telstra. Their billing system is shit. As is their willingness to admit and address problems. Better still don't do business with them - it's a lot easier.

  • Lindday8 Lindsay (@Lindday8) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Telstra NBN speed slow and dropping out in Flynn act is there issue

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@Charrisa11 @Telstra @markhumphries Maybe go back to school and re-do basic physics before asking stupid questions that have been explained repeatedly which people like you stubbornly ignore. I can't prove ghosts exist, or don't exist. Look up how "science" works.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@MikeHynesyHynes @Telstra @markhumphries Yep and unicorns exist too because we cannot prove they don't exist. Same stupid reasoning.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @scottjlawson @Telstra No there's not. There is a precedent of bullshit spreading via ridiculous conspiracy theories because people still cannot grasp that they are not the centre of a vast, chaotic universe and no one gives a ****. Conspiracies are narcissistic neurosis manifested.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @scottjlawson @Telstra Yeah I've read about it. Unlike selfish neurotics who sit at home all day gorging on conspiracy theories, people like this are actually doing something useful for the world. Good on them. Turn the YouTube off and go help a charity, it will be do you good.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@scottjlawson @DONTCHIPMEBRO @Telstra So what these selfish neurotics are saying, is diabetics should be denied life changing help like drip fed insulin, because they see their own paranoid egos in the shadows. Great.

  • skwashd Dave Hall aka Not Funny (@skwashd) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@fwaggle I bet Telstra’s historic network design had something to do with it.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @scottjlawson @Telstra I have volunteered myself for two human trials which have been swamped, I will be so happy if I am selected. Polio was real and horrible and this conspiracy self centred narcissistic bullshit is now hurting people. Vaccines save lives. The universe is chaotic. Move on.

  • kindatiredfwiw Lethany Bincoln ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ (@kindatiredfwiw) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@The_WarHen @Telstra No worries, it was an easy fix for a very dumb problem. Basically the sim i ordered that never arrived automatically activated, booting my sim into non-workable order.

  • michaeljames947 Mike Hutchinson (@michaeljames947) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@phbarratt Surely Thodey, fresh from his successful stint at Telstra produced a masterful report on reforming the public service- only to have it rejected by @ScottMorrisonMP. No doubt he has now learned how to please him....

  • skwashd Dave Hall (@skwashd) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

I didn’t notice any improvement in Telstra’s customer service during H1. I’d say it’s gotten worse.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@scottjlawson @DONTCHIPMEBRO @Telstra Oh look the selfish neurotic conspiracy ****** got all triggered and blocked me. I suppose the suggestion of being a selfish neurotic hit home. It's a common thread. I never see them out helping with anything. Just self absorbed.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@AUSBATTERYGRAD1 @FindlowHarrison @Telstra Then if the higher frequency is the issue yet terrahertz radiation is not, then please explain where "peak harm" is on the EM spectrum? At what point does harm start declining? Past 100, 200, 300THz or what? You're trained in this, you're concerned about 5G so you tell us.

  • garydlum Gaz 🖖 (aka Gary Lum) (@garydlum) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Thank you, @Telstra My service seems to be back to normal after the outage.

  • giddeygirl Au COVFEFE... Test! (@giddeygirl) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

This bloody patronising Hi Mum video call from daughter, @Telstra, is so horrible. It makes me cry. I'm sure my kids laugh at me. I don't need to see it.

  • ianpmcleod Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

@DONTCHIPMEBRO @NorelleFeehan @Telstra No, but promoting paramount tinfoil hat conspiracy theories does suggest someone is an idiot.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NettlePot Pam Swanborough (@NettlePot) reported

@telstra out of curiosity, why is your international roaming so secretive/expensive/inaccessible even for money? I utterly don't understand why this isn't just normal service, like it is in e.g. the entire rest of the world

  • NettlePot Pam Swanborough (@NettlePot) reported

@Telstra Been on chat for 1.5 hours and it allegedly escalated to third line support, but then the chat just went silent. "It'll be another 10-15 minutes" 20 minutes ago. Precisely how crappy is your support?

  • DanieTreg Danie Tregonning (@DanieTreg) reported

@collect_1d The story was from Telstra to keep people from over using the service and getting into debt ie:“financial strain” etc etc. But they just did it and didn’t tell some of us

  • koobiologist purple minion (@koobiologist) reported

just hung up on some telstra scam call after telling them to stream good boy gone bad #DoingMyPart

  • lizjurman Elizabeth Jurman (@lizjurman) reported

@AmyRemeikis Yes check the connection...and the modem. It shouldn't be terrible 1km from the exchange - is that where the NBN connects to your copper line? Consider mobile broadband - Aussie Broadband, Vodafone or Telstra for three. Good luck.

  • collect_1d Ellen ✨ (@collect_1d) reported

@DanieTreg Oh ****, I’m also with Telstra but I was able to vote last year. But I guess if they’ve phased it out we don’t have much choice lol Let’s pray for good vibes and working websites on Friday

  • AndrewMattock Andrew Mattock (@AndrewMattock) reported

So a new world at #telstrabusiness.. Telstra will give you a really **** service when you ring us... Unless you download the Telstra Business App then it will be all peachy.

  • NettlePot Pam Swanborough (@NettlePot) reported

@Telstra I CANNOT CHAT TO OUR MESSAGING TEAM BECAUSE I CANNOT MESSAGE MESSAGING IS THE VERY THING I WANT TO DO AND CANNOT EXACTLY HOW ABUSIVE IS YOUR SUPPORT SERVICE DESIGNED TO BE?

  • Camelli79450301 Camellia (@Camelli79450301) reported

@AmyRemeikis I live in regional Victoria. We have a Telstra tower but it has been conjested for 2 years. We ended up getting the landline reinstalled and going over to Skymuster. NBN couldn't help us and Telstra wouldn't help us.

  • RodGullickson Rod Gullickson (@RodGullickson) reported

@AmyRemeikis We had issues when it rained, Telstra switched us to a different pair from a nearby pit to the node which is a few blocks away, has been much better. As others suggest, we got a cat6 cable run from where the cable entered the roofspace straight to the modem.
