  Right, cancelling my @Telstra account (which Telstra linked to a TIO complaint about an entirely unrelated prepaid SIM) has allowed them to refund me without validating my identity against the unrelated account. Great success!

  @digitaltasmania @Telstra Allens Rivulet. Has been down since yesterday and patchy for several days before. We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

  @JeanLeggett I don’t know of any that “just work” in both countries but I know both Vodafone AU and Telstra (Australia telecoms) have roaming support for NZ but that is like an addition $5-10 per day.

  @up_banking trying to get a refund out of Telstra into my Up account via BSB/account number, but they claim the BSB is incorrect (even if they look under Bendigo etc.) Not explicitly your problem, but any ideas?

  Hey @Telstra. My account restrictions were supposed to be fixed within two hrs. Three hours later and 30 f'n years of poor service don't hold well for me. If I did this to my clients they would go elsewhere. As will I. Finally.

  @Telstra I'll be in the South Hobart area most of the day but hopefully not in the area that's not working - there are others on the community Facebook saying their mobile reception is also out. Probably is an ongoing issue that needs checking.

  @BeachGirlJan @MarkThommo352 @Telstra If the router says it’s ok my bet the tv has just lost the network connection try turning tv power off at wall count to 10 switch back on start tv see if it picks up wifi again the settings should not have changed.

  @KymLouC Agree. Never forget changing my landline and requesting it be private for reason of protection. Telstra listed it in the white pages anyway. Twitter, I love discovering ppl's values, opinions and what they believe rather than their image, name, rank and other superficial trivia.

  @jindivik @MarkThommo352 @Telstra Have done that. I recently upgraded to 5G. Thinking the main problem may be that I am in a ground floor unit surrounded by taller buildings so signals drop out or weaken.Surely there is a solution.

  Back on Twitter after 4 days of no internet. Had to drive 300km to buy a cheap telstra phone and sim as a back up and now hotspotting. Lost pay, fuel, accommodation, food. Expensive outage. Why do we rely so heavily on something so unreliable?
