-
💧Ann Sproule🔥 (@annbag2) reported from Hobart, TasmaniaHey @Telstra. My account restrictions were supposed to be fixed within two hrs. Three hours later and 30 f'n years of poor service don't hold well for me. If I did this to my clients they would go elsewhere. As will I. Finally.

-
Imogen Wegman (@imo_weg) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@Telstra I'll be in the South Hobart area most of the day but hopefully not in the area that's not working - there are others on the community Facebook saying their mobile reception is also out. Probably is an ongoing issue that needs checking.
-
Scott Plimpton (@lowroader) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@jriewolod @helenshield @Telstra Wow. Still, this is the same company that got done for shamelessly ripping off vulnerable first nations people with terrible mobile plans.
-
Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@digitaltasmania @Telstra Allens Rivulet. Has been down since yesterday and patchy for several days before. We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.
-
Dr Paris (he/him) (@parisba) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@up_banking trying to get a refund out of Telstra into my Up account via BSB/account number, but they claim the BSB is incorrect (even if they look under Bendigo etc.) Not explicitly your problem, but any ideas?

Tim McJones (@The_McJones) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@JeanLeggett I don’t know of any that “just work” in both countries but I know both Vodafone AU and Telstra (Australia telecoms) have roaming support for NZ but that is like an addition $5-10 per day.
-
John Mills (@JohnMil37229625) reported from Hobart, TasmaniaStarting to get pissed off with Telstra. Why do we pay for a service that very rarely reaches the down load speed you pay for. Is it a con. Is it a CRIME, is it false ADVERTISING.

Bighead1883 @henrykklemens.bsky.social (@Biggy1883again) reportedHello @Telstra , why are we yet again experiencing very slow internet on our mobile phones in Laverton Western Australia? Do a proper upgrade to counter the 500+ FIFO`s in town every day. Also as soon as schools out the speed reduces exponentially.

I knew I should hang up but they had every base covered. It has knocked my confidence.
-

-
ACCAN (@ACCAN_AU) reportedThat's a wrap on @Techingov_AU in Canberra. Two consumer takeaways: new tech must work for everyone, not just the average user and trust in government services must be informed by consumers and measurable, including traceability of AI agents. Also a sharp breakdown of the Telstra outage from Frank den Hartog (Uni of Canberra). #TechinGov
