@Telstra There is a damaged pit (manhole lid completely collapsed) on corner of Winston Ave and Albert St Clarence Gardens. Been like this for a number of weeks now. Have tried the 13 22 03 number of time and call drops after saying "report damage". Photos to follow.

  • kenmaharchitect
Ken Mah (@kenmaharchitect) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

Our pm is doing a good job with fostering good relations with countries around the region including our pacific neighbours. But? Why do we have to pay Telstra, a private company, to help keep Huawei out? This is not fair competition, it has anti China components and unnecessary.

  • _xDAMOx_
Damien Porter (@_xDAMOx_) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

Hey @Foxtel @Telstra Can you please explain why there is no subtitle option on your new streaming service #Binge - pretty disgraceful if this is the case!

  • AxantCorp
Geoff Thomas (@AxantCorp) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Telstra Hi. There tended to be coverage where you state it is exists. The issue is that in the fringe areas it’s inadequate for web browsing or high reliability of calls. It’s a major tourism destination- you should be able to access booking apps etc wherever

  • CM_SockPuppet
Chris Earl (@CM_SockPuppet) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

Thanks for not having the Telstra plaza bar open after the game @TheAdelaideOval you money grubbing, anti-sports supporter sacks of shit #AFLCrowsHawks

  • spokenly_
Anika Johnstone (@spokenly_) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

We still don’t have internet or a solution for the internet and I am so so angry (I never get angry) and exhausted from trying to sort it and I will *never* use the companies (@Telstra @Internode ) involved again because they failed on all four of the above <end rant>.

  • ByEichler
Kurtis Eichler 📰 😷 (@ByEichler) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

For the past four months I’ve received all correspondence for a Telstra customer called Yanwen Bao. The past week, I’ve had 10 “No Caller ID” phone calls. I answered three of them, all looking for her. @Telstra say I have to negotiate with the caller to have my number removed

  • LoriMetz3
Lori Metz (@LoriMetz3) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@NBN_Australia BTW, @NBN_Australia my mobile phone is with another provider so I can't get extra free data from Telstra while the problem is resolved.

  • Legoman_adel
legoman Adelaide (@Legoman_adel) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

Looking forward to another day of @Telstra not being able to support their own customers when issues arise. So far wasted 2 days, was told I would get a call back and still waiting. How hard can it be? 🤔 next step ombudsman.

  • spokenly_
Anika Johnstone (@spokenly_) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Telstra Internode with telstra doing the provisioning. First scheduled appt they never knocked despite us being home all day, second didn’t show up. We took 2 days off work to accomodate and can’t do again.

  • JReevesTaylor

  • StMaryMacKiller
    St Mary MacKiller (@StMaryMacKiller) reported

The Telstra outage is fascinating because I live in a bad spot, with consistently terrible coverage, yet we didn’t lose it at all. So weird.

  • 10NewsQLD
    10 News Queensland (@10NewsQLD) reported

Queensland police have identified 21 triple zero (000) calls across the state that did not connect during yesterday’s Telstra outage. Internal sources have confirmed the network failure was due to a software fault, causing major disruptions. Queensland's Health Minister Tim Nicholls said, “Yesterday, the information we got from Telstra was there was no misses, then we find out there were misses.” For more details on how the Telstra outage affected Queensland, tune in to 10 News at 5pm.

  • immyonboard
    immyonboard (@immyonboard) reported

Everyone criticising this press release is performative and wants Victoria to fail. This is a good media release and she is right, Telstra needs to pay for the widespread damage they caused across the country.

  • Michael_Arter
    Michael Arter (@Michael_Arter) reported

@BaggersFlaggers @JacintaAllanMP @VicLabour Telstra is a national company and so is the ARTC! They are the two companies that caused the VLine system to fail .

  • Anouk724
    Anouk72 (@Anouk724) reported

@WesleySouthcott @ScomoCchio No. Optus has had outages too. And their response was just as pathetic as Telstra’s. But the point remains, huge service providers that can cause disrupt/impact nationwide are not held to account in any meaningful or significant way.

  • joncodua
    Jonco Dua (@joncodua) reported

@burkylie12 Well done Telstra for the massive Outage 👏 👍 Telstra supporting the Crusification of Optus for the same. It's certainly a clear display for the idiots that want a Cashless 💸 Society.

  • couch_specimen
    CouchSpecimen (@couch_specimen) reported

@theheraldsun So that's why the @Telstra network died, they redirected their resources to @tommorris32 to try & keep the interview alive????

  • tisy47
Citizen of Nowhere Free Palestine 🍉🍉🍉 (@tisy47) reported

How on earth is it that one privatised company controls most communications - even down to the Ghan 🤯 in one of the wealthiest countries in the world? Surely a security risk? #auspol #Telstra

  • Commoncents21
    Nikki J Lawson😷🌹#IStandWithAlboPM💯 (@Commoncents21) reported

@devalara44 I heard that as well. So my question is - was the patient seriously ill and succumbed to death or did the outage contribute to her death - ie machines hooked up to the patient failed? And what I’d like to know is what medical software operated machines rely on Telstra? If any?
