Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra I know I’m writing in Twitter. I’m not a moron. But I’m reporting a problem in the Telstra app to you via Twitter. What’s your point? Are you trying to be obtuse?
-
Bradley Deacon 🇦🇺 (@BradleyWDeacon) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Optus How about warning network when this is happening, it’s called customer service @VodafoneAU and @Telstra are all over me to switch. Maybe a credit for customers for lack of contract performance? Or do we switch?

Daniel Eastwood (@yeoldeguildford) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra Hello, I am having a lot of trouble contacting you. I can't call, I can't reset my password on the app. I have had an outstanding fault for a month that you could not troubleshoot. I have a different internet provider now. Thanks for asking. Please terminate my Telstra internet
-
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra You start by gaping about inclusions and costs. Perfect. Completely agree. Why were you operating perfectly before without requiring one to pay beforehand without documentation. As already mentioned, open to accepting your pay-before service model. Just not automatically
-
Croydon Cathy (@croydoncathy) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra have just spent 2 frustrating hours in your Gold Member online support. I had a major fault on my home internet last month.just need a record length of problem. Why so hard to get?
-
Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra As if I can be bothered helping you guys fix a fault for somewhere I am parked for 10 minutes. Telstra is poor coverage in general now and reporting it doesn’t help I’ve tried at home for 6 months.
-
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra You have had me as a customer for 7 years. What has changed. Because remember this is all because you decided you want me to have a new relationship with @telstra. I have M existing plan right now
-
John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, New South WalesWhen dealing with @Telstra, at either the commercial or consumer level, it's wise to remember their customer service ethos: You get what you get and you don't get upset.
-
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra I’m pretty sure you can’t force me to pay by direct debit. Considering your ineffective customer services, including your inability to effectively train your phone reps adequately, it’s reasonable I want to have some control on payment. Just like I do with gas, power, water etc.
-
Lloyd Nurthen (@MrLloydicus) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra have you been playing with the mobile coverage on the T4 between Cronulla and Central - it’s progressing to get worst and especially in the tunnels from Redfern you can even get out. :( please fix it!
-
Chris Rauchle 克里斯 (@chrisrauchle) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@fictillius @swearyanthony You mean Telstra 5G in the airport tunnel? I reckon that phantom service has cost me several thousand dollars
-
Annie Martin AM (@MartinAnne139) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra Happy to say that I rang the First Nations Hotline @Telstra and the customer service was exceptional. After several weeks of trying to get this sorted I found someone that took time to listen and sort the issue out. Thank you Sanisha you deserve a medal 🥇
-
janet albrechtsen (@jkalbrechtsen) reported from Sydney, New South WalesOf all the companies I deal with @Telstra is by far far the worst. I was told I couldn’t query an unauthorised bill amount. Couldn’t speak with someone more senior. In other words F.. O….
-
₽᷀᷁᷇᷈€₸€₹₲̻͉̥͊̽📖🐘🧑🚀🤳™️ (@p_terg) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@hallstrong1 @crackerscraigo .. but couldn’t imagine doing any of this successfully with Optus who ****** us around for the best part of 5yr. Had to move to Telstra bc they don’t service the street we moved to .. this after moving from Telstra because custom 1987-2011 wasn’t enough to ensure good service..
-
Nicky Williamson 🌏✈️💚💛 (@NickyWill100) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@bigyahu @vkhosla So many wanted to leave Telstra! Funnily enough when Orange took over Hutch, the place became idiot startup central burning cash like it was confetti (have experienced that twice). They made fun of the Hutch founder for counting tp rolls. He had to come back and right the ship.
-
Patricia (@callejap) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@thegrumpypoof Which is why I have not been a Telstra customer in a very long time. Hope it gets sorted out
-
BDubAus (@bwrigley) reported from Sydney, New South WalesHey Telstra, what’s going on with the NBN services in Sydney Inner west? It’s been down for quite some time?? @Telstra #NBN
-
Nafees Butt (@mnsbutt) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@MichelePlayfair Seriously!!!! And people on the call keep suggesting that "everyone chip in so that Nafees can get a better Internet" as if I chose the cheapest Internet bundle to inflict this pain upon myself. While I am at it, @Telstra, please fix my reception problem.
-
Fionna Collantes (@FionnaYvette) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Telstra Lol that was a late post.... was resolved already!! But Cecil Hills really has bad signal with Telstra so please fix that....
Telstra Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Sienna Cooper 🇦🇺 (@X726372533) reportedWhy is nobody talking about how when 3G towers were turned off, reception with @Telstra turned to crap? 4G and 5G provide worse coverage than we had with 3G. But we pay more now. Make it make sense.
-
Michele Scheffler (@MicheleScheffl1) reported@JohnOSullivan36 @MichaelWestBiz @MichaelPascoe01 I was hacked this week by a Telstra scam. Thankfully my Bank locked my Acs but I have used the entire week changing drivers licence, Medicare ,etc. 2 x200 k trips to Phone Dr for cleaning. I knew I should hang up but they had every base covered. It has knocked my confidence.
-
Big Clarence (@clarencebrah) reportedI’m sorry but in 2012 I paid $350 or so to attend two Soundwaves and saw System of a Down amongst like 15 other good bands I’m not paying $300 to sit in the back row on level 3 of the Telstra Dome surrounded my people who discovered nu metal ten minutes ago. I’ve been waiting 14 years to see SOAD again but that is taking the absolute piss.
-
GainsMax (@GainsMax168031) reportedThe rapidly advancing Starlink system should scare any Australian Telco. I hope the Telstra monopoly on the market gets broken up to the point that they're forced to lower prices. The service we get for Telstra, considering how much we pay is a joke. Any company that moves its operations overseas purely because labour is cheaper deserves to be outcompeted by companies that actually invest in local jobs, innovation, and customer service. If your entire business model relies on cutting wages instead of building a better product, don't be surprised when someone with better technology comes along and makes you irrelevant. Consumers shouldn't be expected to pay premium prices for declining service while executives celebrate another cost cutting exercise.
-
Candour (@Candour100) reported@blu_boys @Optus Boost is by bar the cheapest as you get the full Telstra network. Belong gives you the majority and that serves my girl right as the only considerations would be travelling to remote areas.
-
aneko violet (@AnekoExe) reportedWhy ******** is there princess bubblegum from adventure time on the side of the Telstra phone box???
-
Hung Long 🇱🇧🇵🇸🇮🇶🪃 (@Elmer_Hauser) reportedRealistically, Trembath should finish 3rd in the Telstra Rising Star after Jagga and Dean, even just for consistency's sake. Wilma Durrsma's last 6 weeks has been utter garbage #AFLNorthCats
-
Uptimus (@UptimusApp) reportedAug 06, 2026 at 01:45 UTC: Uptimus is currently monitoring Telstra stability. Reports have returned to normal levels, and we are verifying system performance before resolving.
-
Mark (@Markius_vini) reported@Starlink @Telstra Day 23 Asking Starlink to start providing service to Angola
-
It's A Hoax 🇦🇺 (@Itsahoax123) reported@KataKez Telstra can already spam everyone connected to cell tower without this ****. Think about the times when you have travelled somewhere and you get that text saying something like they are “doing work on this network over the next 5 days”
