My main question, @telstra, is, when the F are you going to at least pretend to have a customer service?

  • alexanderswift
Alexander Swift (@alexanderswift) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@Telstra I’m not going through 9 weeks of “have you updated your phone and rebooted your router” nonsense again, a process designed to never solve any issues

  • Rickmindgone
RickMindgone. (@Rickmindgone) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Does anyone know a senior exec contact at Telstra so I can get the correct support? Id be most grateful. DM if u prefer.

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@Telstra You start by gaping about inclusions and costs. Perfect. Completely agree. Why were you operating perfectly before without requiring one to pay beforehand without documentation. As already mentioned, open to accepting your pay-before service model. Just not automatically

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@fictillius @Telstra If acma required me to identify myself, why am I receiving several calls a week from spam callers? Isn’t an Australian bank account evidence enough? All @Telstra arguments fail logic.

  • JackieWarner13
jac (@JackieWarner13) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Might just cancel binge with Telstra & pay via binge only did it bc got free trial with Telstra

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@Telstra I’m pretty sure you can’t force me to pay by direct debit. Considering your ineffective customer services, including your inability to effectively train your phone reps adequately, it’s reasonable I want to have some control on payment. Just like I do with gas, power, water etc.

  • bldfvr
Keira (@bldfvr) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Ordered a major xmas gift on **11 Oct** with @Telstra. Still dont have it. Have been lied to re delivery date every week for a month now. Help operators are useless. No answer to basic qs. Thought I’d use some reward pts since they were just sitting there. Never again.

  • LJPatton
Laurie Patton is The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@Telstra @andy_penn So, the best option is to be persistent. Finally found someone willing to help. Ten minutes later the problem was sorted. But that didn’t get me back the hours I’ve spent talking to Indian call centres.

  • LJPatton
Laurie Patton is The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

DAY FIVE trying to get some customer service from @Telstra!

  • LJPatton
Laurie Patton is The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@Telstra Only yesterday I had extensive dealings with an overseas call centre! Five business days to fix a simple problem that should have been sorted nearly a year ago is why Telstra has such a bad reputation for customer service.

  • BJssoR
Ben Ross (@BJssoR) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Customer feedback led Telstra to bring their call centres home , in another five years they may realise their services are severely overpriced..

  • JackieWarner13
jac #TheAlbum (@JackieWarner13) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Cancelled my binge service then registered again as Telstra were doing a year deal that's $6 cheaper every month for a year so saving $72 this next year

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@Telstra I know I’m writing in Twitter. I’m not a moron. But I’m reporting a problem in the Telstra app to you via Twitter. What’s your point? Are you trying to be obtuse?

  • JPMasters
JPMasters (He/Him/They/Them) (@JPMasters) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@lesstenny @RNBreakfast I wasn’t listening this morning, but my thoughts are, rain - our infrastructure never considered there would be rain, mobile coverage infrastructure not keeping up with demand (I am 13km from Sydney GPO on a high point - hopeless with both Telstra and Optus), and NBN no doubt.

  • hotndelicious
Dan Wilkinson AKA @hotndelicious 🎞🌊✨ (@hotndelicious) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

as I wasn't physically able to leave my apartment. The only time I've had worse service is with Telstra. Tell one of your customer service team to look up my number and call me today! And why should I have to wait 48 hours for a refund for something that was your mistake???!!!

  • mrsdenneysmith
Jacqui Smith (@mrsdenneysmith) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@sebasu101 @Telstra Yowsers that is awful! Sort it out @telstra!

  • derek_bell
Derek Bell (He/Him) (@derek_bell) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Check out my Speedtest results! 27.3 Mbps down and 0.2 Mbps up. How do your speeds compare? #Telstra #Nbn I think North Korea is better than this. Any suggestions?

  • d2832cd804534b9
PinarooRay (@d2832cd804534b9) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@mazt_t @turnbull1949 They use pretty sophisticated computerised robo calls I'm told. The computer dials numbers at random and so on. You can't block it because it has never called before and bypasses the do not call register. Try calling Telstra, they cannot advise any real method to stop it.

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

And when I told the support person that the reference number has been obfuscated I got a reply with a reference number…….., obfuscated as well. What fresh hell is this, @Telstra ?

Do I need to be an ABN holder or otherwise registered as a business to try one of @Telstra 's business internet plans? If I try a business internet plan, is it going to mess up my residential phone service? Would I be forced to replace my modem?

  • jumbarrawa
    Jumbarrawa (@jumbarrawa) reported

@SocialPiranha3 @Telstra They sell chunks of lines to other companies that sell the lines cheaper. and offer better service how is that possible >

  • CefaiJason

@robb_j_m everyone ******* moaned and kniffed Rudd in the back they then sold it off to telstra because this stupid government doesn't know how to create money they only know how to Tax

  • tdeb007
    Tania 😷🧸 (@tdeb007) reported

@gomichild Never mind that my back injury is what forced me from retail into admin, and I’d been doing purchasing and sales admin for years. I kept having to remind her I wasn’t obligated to apply for random jobs, and I certainly wasn’t going to apply for a job interview a Telstra shop!

  • somewhatdaft
    somewhat daft (@somewhatdaft) reported

@eevblog i spent 3 months fighting their absurdity over a business account, with them "doing it wrong" and then forgetting about it. the only solution was to raise a complaint and follow that process, which so far has taken a month. telstra is criminally incompetent :(

  • ARTCvan
    ARTCvan 🍉 (@ARTCvan) reported

@frokfrdk don't forget Telstra/TPG/Optus might just block it from the network for no reason either... expensive *** paper weight

  • algorithmsayshi
    Depresso Martini ♥︎♡︎ (@algorithmsayshi) reported

Switched home internet providers cause Telstra were actually insane lmao but now when connected to my AGL wifi it doesn't let me watch any NBA on my NBA app and this message just shows up. I have tried trouble shooting it and I've even ventured onto Reddit for help but nothing works 😩🥴 I literally pay a yearly fee to watch NBA games so not sure why they're cockblocking me! I've turned VPN **** off and on. I can watch when my wifi is off still 😣

  • ColinCleanEnery
    Colin Ritchie (@ColinCleanEnery) reported

@sydney_ev Actually it has been failing across remote Australia for decades. Telstra has unreliable network coverage as the middle of Australia can not have enough sunshine for their solar for days.
