@Telstra Yep. Unfortunately I’m so disgusted with the way I’ve been treated as a customer will see me head to @optus Telstra high prices dont reflect the service you receive from staff when there is a problem. It’s disgraceful. By far the worst telco I have dealt with, ever.

@Loud_Lass LNP defending actions (or lack thereof) of Optus to try to protect @GladysB reputation. According to @PhillipCoorey Gladys was too busy saving the world to worry about small things like pork barrelling, conflicts of interest with secret lovers or security of customer info.

I haven’t seen it reported anywhere, but do we know whether the Optus hack also affects other providers that use the Optus network (like Amaysim)?

@clarkjourno It appears to be the optus customer database that was breached Optus has previously stated that other non optus providers were not impacted. My "guess" is that if you aren't & have never been an @Optus customer your details should be safe

@jasonjordan Define "hacked". I'm a coder by trade and from what I understand of this situation, Optus is indeed culpable. However, the legal definition of hack is "unauthorised access of a system or network". What occurred was unauthorised access

@ViscusGaming @6NewsAU @Optus It was freely available hence 9mill + exposures, it shouldn’t of been freely available, that’s why Optus is the one that failed & the “baddies” They, the so called Hackers actually didn’t have to hack anything bce Optus fail under the Australian privacy act. How & what they kept

optus should be offering a free 12 month sub to Equifax Protect for EVERY customer affected, even if they claim some haven't had their d/l, medicare or passport numbers breached.

@Optus How come you still have all of my Personally Identifiable Information on file even though I have not been an Optus customer for many years. In my industry we have to purge this as soon as a customer leaves. #OptusHack Really poor form.

@Optus not only does your account holders get hacked the data speed is dropping & drop outs increase. Locked into a contact but not getting what we pay for. And when you call all get is someone trying to sell you a product rather than help you. #dobetter
