I twice had to call to cancel, going through the whole process twice. But, for over a year now, Optus still sends me monthly invoices that (a) state that I have a 9 cent credit & (b) the 9 cents is zeroed off at the end of each invoice.

I stopped reporting the issues, as it’s mainly nbn issues and it’s really frustrating. Paying $70 a month for the service you can hardly use is just outrageous. These are the only three networks here. All other carriers buy access from these three.
