Mr. Mouse (@mr_mouse) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Optus I’ve done all the checks. IView, etc. all work fine on the Fetch box. It’s the streaming channels that take ages to start and give streaming errors. Catch-up like BBC First are really bad and often fail to start a show, showing a streaming error. Looks like Fetch service prob.

-
Jase Smith (@JaseSmith78) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb
-
nick shewring (@nickshewring) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@JarradLawrence Did the data breach effect only current customers or anyone that’s been a @Optus customer over the years?

Optus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Peter Lewis (@Peter_Lewis747) reported@Sueberry2 @blu_boys @Optus Not full Telstra network, limited Telstra network access. Only Boost has full Telstra network access.
-
Andry Dina (@andrydina7) reportedEveryone leaves Cursor for refactors. They lose the 3x speed. One founder shipped $12k MRR in nine days using only Cursor + Grok 4.6. Daily Workflow starts inside the file. Open the file inside Cursor. Feed the exact three-line Prompt Patterns straight to inline Grok. Rewrite only the current sentence before moving on. Most still paste stack traces into ChatGPT and kill the flow. That alone eats 30% of refactor time. Grok 4.6 beats Claude Optus on large refactors because you never exit the codebase. Counterintuitive tip: stay sentence-by-sentence instead of dumping the whole function. What slowed your last refactor most?
-
Amber | Uber The Yurr (@Uberstooks) reportedImagine cancelling a family plan & replacing it with another service, funnily enough which costs more. Customers needs aren’t changing, your greed is. @Optus, this is appalling & just outright greedy. I will be taking my business elsewhere, along with future required services.
-
Cricket On Your Screen (@CricketOnScreen) reportedSeifert to Sixers would be a fun one & yes, way better than Babar. I thought Allen would be a Scorcher his entire career, but well he's said to move to Stars. I just remember @IndianMourinho saying Optus is probably the worst venue for a batter, so atleast that way he's saved.
-
Lucy Graham (@montrosegraham) reported@ChinaSelect Australia has had two major telecommunications network failures. As a result of the Telstra failure, three people died, including a baby. One person died as a result of the Optus failure. No infrastructure should have any exposure to foreign adversaries.
-
TrueAussieMum (@aussiemum30) reported@Optus The reason I ask is my account is now overdue by 8 days, I'm able to pay the bill in 2 days in full however when asking for help or letting optus know of concerns with overdue accounts and financial difficulties the automatic payment system set up on this account restricts the help i can ask for online
-
Mark Symons (@SymonsYahoo) reported@ronInBendigo A clear sign that corporate management wishes to frustrate and alienate customers. No just due to the decision but principally due to the inevitable decline e to disastrous levels of customer service and systems reliability. The much reviled Optus is a case in point: dreadful customer service and numerous life-threatening outages as a result inadequate staff processes and failed procedures. I would love to see the risk assessments carried out by both companies, in relation to both real and reputation risk.

Osman オスマン 🏆20x 🇨🇨🇱🇧🇵🇸🇸🇩🍉 (@ozman024) reported@khalilkayalKK I had Optus subscription for free because I was an Optus customer

GoodFellaBoi ➕ (Майк) 🏴☠️ 🇦🇺 🇺🇦 ( 🇳🇱 🇵🇱) (@GoodFellaBoiBoi) reported@showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia I ended up using iiNET because the offer a 4G backup, very important for work. And Optus did not help when NBN tech disconnected me, by mistake, as their record were not accurate, so they cut me. For it sorted in 3 days, but no apology from NBN for their error no follow up.

Karl Pharks 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 (@Karl_Pharks) reportedThis happens because traitorous Australian companies sent jobs offshore to India. The Indians stole the customer databases and set up scamming operations on an industrial scale. Here are how many jobs these ******* companies off-shored. ANZ: 14,300 jobs Commonwealth Bank: 10,000+ NAB: 7,350+ Westpac: 2,000+ Telstra: 10,000+ Optus: 4,000+ Vodafone Group: 2,900+
