    @Asher_Wolf @Bredgens @wheelswordsmith I msg Optus on their help platform - they have automated message saying there is delay in responding. Then they message 15min later repeating question and asking to confirm. Then they close the conversation when I don’t respond within a couple of minutes. Happened 2x already🙄

    @vicroads please change your rules re licence replacement. Optus customers should not have to wait for a fraud to occur to be allowed to change their driver’s licences! It’s bad enough to have the data breach. @DanielAndrewsMP @Optus 1/2

    @Optus I've received one email from Optus (My bill) and today have (so far) had 15 spam/robocallers. All reported but how bad will this get before you take action. What guarantees will you put in place to ensure my passport and licence details aren't sold off to the highest bidder?

    Biggest surprise about @Optus disaster is they had customers. Poor support, woeful service. I took them to ombudsman twice about 11/12 years ago. They couldn't re-establish my phone connections for TWO MONTHS despite a simple word in code change as a fix. #PayCompensationOptus

    Why should Optus pay fines? If you’re a customer, maybe retrospectively pay higher bills and ask for assurances and guarantee.They just did what any shareholder-driven multinational is actually tasked with doing.

    @seemsforever Yeah, I've been the information risk owner of large, externally facing systems like this and it's the nightmare situation. But reading how the hack was done, it's crazy that Optus didn't know about this vulnerability, or if they did and didn't fix it....😬

    I think better wording is needed for the #optus incident. My understanding is that it wasn’t a hack, it wasn’t a breach, nor an attack & that the data was leaked through incompetence. I’m still reading articles about it mentioning terms such as “firewall” in ways implying a hack.

    @VodafoneAU Ported from Optus 7 days ago. Since then Cant call or receive anything from Optus numbers, including bank. Customer care keep telling me to wait. Locked out of my commbank too because of this. If not resolved will contact TIO & ACCC.

    @dejanaa17 I use to be with vodaphone so **** then went to Optus, even shitter. Now I’m with Telstra. Been with them for year. Reception is so good even in the middle of nowhere. Their customer service is ****** **** but reception is the best.

    @Optus @Dave_Oakden I am still having big mms delays when sending from Optus to another carrier. I have a case manager. Issue not resolved in 10 days. Was told tower upgrade in area, so went to another suburb to test and still massive MMS delays. Proves it's a network issue.

    @Millberry80 @eldantehicks The difference is Optus is only focused on sport with their service, so it’s getting the priority. Sport is just a side gig for P+. Reading some socials from the US, the US version (which is separate) isn’t much better.

    I am really considering not streaming anymore... My internet is so terrible. I can only get Optus & Starlink where I am and both have a shocking upload (like 2 mbps). I hate that it causes a bad experience for viewers.
