Nikki May 📚 (@NixLib) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Switched to @Optus 1 day a go and regretting it already. 1 phone call, 2 chats and now I have to go to a store because they sent me a dodgy sim. Surely as a new customer you would send them a new one rather than inconvenience them. RIP @virginmobileaus

Mark Donnell (@trck71) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Optus furthermore you never applied the agreed discount on my plan and magically could not find it. 4. You never called me back as promised and i always had to follow up. 5. Funny how you got the bank details correct though to charge me full price for a service i can’t use.
-
Paul Mizzi (@returnofsmith) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Thanks @Optus for your inconsistent internet speeds on your wireless broadband service. Sunday night movie was ruined by constant buffering even after many router resets. $800+ a year and I can’t even be confident to invite friends over for a movie 😡😡😡😡😡
-
lAyLa (@laylaflynn13) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus I just wanted to relax and watch Netflix for once and the internet is down wtf
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
1. The biggest mistake going to @Optus. Over 20 calls in the last week. I called 5x about correcting your mistake on the delivery address and you still sent it to the wrong location. 2. You never ported my number over correctly and now a week later and 10 more calls and not done.

Miriam Silva (@miriamsilva595) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Terrible customer service from @Optus taking $500 direct debut from my Dad’s account instead of $70 and not giving him back his money. He has been 5 times to the Optus office and phoned 3 times and they just hang up on him. Very poor customer service. Please fix it

Keegan J. Sard (@keegansard) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@BSFootball @OptusSport Blame the PL for the rights they offer. It’s ridiculous but not an Optus issue.
-
Anthony Ashton (@bloodhoundau) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@LawrieColliver Oh gosh. This is similar to optus. Who had issues with broadcasting the rugby world cup.
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus @VodafoneAU Still on the phone for 30-mins and this is a mess. All your staff have no idea. Expect a formal complaint to the @TelcoOmbudsman on how you charge for services not delivered and how you don’t put on your records your discounts you quote to get us to sign up too!
-
Peter Howell ☂︎ (@pe1erhowell) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@jacojac @BeauGiles @Optus Yea I also don’t see why you have to go into store to get the esim. I went into my local and the girl didn’t even know what I was talking about. Pretty bad service tbh

stratEG by wade (@stratEGbywade) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus @Icy_Remote I'm also trying to register a SIM for a non English speaking friend. Online help is not working
-
Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@DimitriPeppas_ Ugh I wish. Optus said I could upgrade for free after 12 months. Never got an email! I think when this contract runs out, I’ll buy a phone out right and SIM card it...
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus @VodafoneAU Hi @Optus I have DM you guys just waiting to hear back! Turns out you also have not updated the new deal for my wife either. Really really poor. If this doesn’t get sorted today will be returning phone and going back to @VodafoneAU or @Telstra
-
Sian Walden (@sian_walden) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@alanwedesweiler @Optus RIGHT! Its now 3 wks since I ordered & am blown away by the lack of problem solving @Optus has offered given this situation. This is horrific customer service, while ‘out of your control’- what you can control is how you solve an issue quickly - keeping customers happy.
-
RedRaw Radio (@REDRAWRADIO) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus #AllenLew make good on your statement you will sack staff responsible for poor service - I've spent 5hrs of my time seeking to transfer a Virgin service to Optus Your CreditReview numpties need a rocket up em ref 2005236605 Call me or I'm off to @Telstra @HarveyNormanAU
-
Leith Gourlay (@LeithGourlay) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@danhaesler @Optus Hi @danhaesler, this is not a 1st world problem, is a contractual issue where services paid for haven’t been provide. #goodfaith #fair #reasonable #expected
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus This is a joke. Now your telling me I have to pay more than agreed. This is pure theft. If you want to discuss how about you call me for once directly and maybe try reading your notes first before asking the same questions. Should never have left @VodafoneAU. DM me for a number.

Dale Parsons (@RisingPheonix01) reported
So I just found out that even if you are not a customer or have never been a customer of OPTUS and you have only submitted your info and not gone ahead with your application you can still get caught up in this data breach. I am told a company can keep your info.
-
Róisín (@Ro__Sheen) reported
@Optus sending out emails to me with “Dear Customer” when I haven’t been one for some time. Chance of ever being one again - 0%! This whole things has been one sick joke by the telco in terms of updates.
-
Tash (@RuddTash) reported
@viniankao @Optus Yep just called service Nsw. Only if both card number and license number they got then I’d need to get a new one. But they didn’t
-
Health Bud (@healthbudi) reported
@RavenZech2 Received this too. Don’t know how many times I have filled out application asking for my drivers license number, but never the card number. In response to their ***-up Optus seems more interested in the cost of fixing the hack rather than looking after their customers wellbeing🙄
-
troiboi 🤨 (@Troiboi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@sezzoooooooooo lol no. But just don’t be overwhelmed by what’s going on. It’s going to be an annoyance more than anything. However this Optus issue will put everyone on alert. Which will be a good thing.
-
Ca (@itsCAbish) reported
So, I got an email from optus today saying that my ID has been exposed on the choking drama but they are also saying that I don’t need to replace my drivers licence… Should I listen to the company with a **** security to not replace my ID or go ahead and do it?
-
The Guybrush Chocobo (@noreasonspec) reported
@MarkDiStef @LucasBairdAus they want the government to eat their garbage, and lol no. You don't get to be full of garbage like this when you didn't even tell the gov medicare cards were included. Gov is doing the right thing, Optus is trying to cover their arse and limit PR hit, Gov can see through it
-
David Phelan (@SixlitreHSV) reported
@vicki_woods_au Having worked at Optus Enterprise for 3 years (left 12 months ago) I can tell you KBR (as she is known) will be hurting from this data breach. She is tough but. Never count her out. Massive job ahead for her and Optus to rebuild trust with the Australian consumer.
-
W⚓️ (@Dontkillpunk) reported
So it turns out my personal info was leaked and I’m not even a Optus customer anymore wtf man #OptusHack
-
John Mills (@JohnMil48810492) reported
I just got off the phone with Service NSW about the Optus hack. I have to say it the service was second to none all sorted in less the 15min.
