@DimitriPeppas_ Ugh I wish. Optus said I could upgrade for free after 12 months. Never got an email! I think when this contract runs out, I’ll buy a phone out right and SIM card it...
-
Nikki May 📚 (@NixLib) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Switched to @Optus 1 day a go and regretting it already. 1 phone call, 2 chats and now I have to go to a store because they sent me a dodgy sim. Surely as a new customer you would send them a new one rather than inconvenience them. RIP @virginmobileaus

Keegan J. Sard (@keegansard) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Hey @Optus - your app is broken again! DM me.
-
Peter Howell ☂︎ (@pe1erhowell) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@jacojac @BeauGiles @Optus Yea I also don’t see why you have to go into store to get the esim. I went into my local and the girl didn’t even know what I was talking about. Pretty bad service tbh

Susie 🌹 (@suechook) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus Trying to get a refund with you is a bloody joke!Hubby has verified who he is and now you want details on when he opened account 14 years ago ! WTF terrible customer service all for $39 refund
-
Teresa LaRocca (@effielarocca) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Telstra 1/2. 2,weeks ago I suggested we switch from @Optus to Telstra, up our speed to 50mps as your bundle seemed better than Optus. Now we have no internet (which seemed to work on an Optus network) and yesterday my sister lost her job. She has 2 weeks left of her job and now

Sian Walden (@sian_walden) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@alanwedesweiler @Optus RIGHT! Its now 3 wks since I ordered & am blown away by the lack of problem solving @Optus has offered given this situation. This is horrific customer service, while ‘out of your control’- what you can control is how you solve an issue quickly - keeping customers happy.

Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
1. The biggest mistake going to @Optus. Over 20 calls in the last week. I called 5x about correcting your mistake on the delivery address and you still sent it to the wrong location. 2. You never ported my number over correctly and now a week later and 10 more calls and not done.

Weng Wong (@wengywong) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus Second time a NBN technician has not bothered to come, well done @Optus, such great customer service. You guys are a joke.
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus This is a joke. Now your telling me I have to pay more than agreed. This is pure theft. If you want to discuss how about you call me for once directly and maybe try reading your notes first before asking the same questions. Should never have left @VodafoneAU. DM me for a number.

-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus so just called and got to a operator who transfers me and the line gets cut. Good work for a communications company. This poor service is too common with Optus and I’m really looking at taking the family and business back to @VodafoneGroup or @Telstra.
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus @VodafoneAU Still on the phone for 30-mins and this is a mess. All your staff have no idea. Expect a formal complaint to the @TelcoOmbudsman on how you charge for services not delivered and how you don’t put on your records your discounts you quote to get us to sign up too!
-
Weng Wong (@wengywong) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Been with @Optus for over 23 years now but looks like it is time to take my business elsewhere due to their unresponsiveness and lack of customer support/care...poor form @Optus, very disappointing after all this time
-
Paul Mizzi (@returnofsmith) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Thanks @Optus for your inconsistent internet speeds on your wireless broadband service. Sunday night movie was ruined by constant buffering even after many router resets. $800+ a year and I can’t even be confident to invite friends over for a movie 😡😡😡😡😡
-
Anthony Ashton (@bloodhoundau) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@LawrieColliver Oh gosh. This is similar to optus. Who had issues with broadcasting the rugby world cup.
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus @VodafoneAU Hi @Optus I have DM you guys just waiting to hear back! Turns out you also have not updated the new deal for my wife either. Really really poor. If this doesn’t get sorted today will be returning phone and going back to @VodafoneAU or @Telstra

-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus furthermore you never applied the agreed discount on my plan and magically could not find it. 4. You never called me back as promised and i always had to follow up. 5. Funny how you got the bank details correct though to charge me full price for a service i can’t use.

-
Tim McMahon (@_TimMcMahon) reported
@troyhunt @haveibeenpwned ID verification services could leverage @haveibeenpwned to let companies know that an ID number has been compromised and probably shouldn't be used. Or Optus could give the leaked ID numbers to each issuing body so that they can co-ordinate a mass re-issue...
-
Mary Stylianopoulos (@Dolly196952) reported
Optus was hacked. How could Optus a telecommunications company be hacked? You would think that it would be the last company to be hacked. Well, it was. And I am a customer. In other news, I do not comment at CDAN or anywhere else but here. Keep repeating it so it will sink in.
-
its_not_working (@itsnotwoke) reported
@MattSainsb @Optus Customer service teams. How the hell is someone able to pretend to be you to the point they swap your sim. Sounds like weak security to me
-
K e n d a l l 🦢👑 (@Kendall_Claire) reported
If you spend your time hacking people’s personal information to leak or sell it, you are a piece of **** and I wish you the ******* worst. And **** you Optus for your absolutely lousy security - you don’t even have two factor authentication for callers.
-
MasterSharky (@MasterSharky) reported
Guess it pays to have never been an Optus customer yeah? 😳
-
Bryn (@ViscusGaming) reported
@arckstar @6NewsAU @Optus How is it freely available information? If it was freely available, people wouldn’t be worried about identity theft as a result of this incident
-
💧Shiv 😷 (@BLShiv) reported
@noplaceforsheep @cindygrahame Optus couldn't pony that much. Now customer data is being released.
-
James (@Frankenclyd3) reported
@cokeefe9 @9NewsAUS @Optus CEO Kelly Bayer Rosmarin must resign immediately. This is a monumental failure with very real damage being done to millions of Australians.
-
Kate (@babooshkayay) reported
okay i kinda feel bad for the person who decided to scam the optus leak people using an Australian bank account... honey you're going to jail!!!
-
kjnichols (@kjnichols) reported
@ClareONeilMP You could actually do something for the victims and re-issue their passports with new numbers. Optus can pay. You know enough now to do that rather than wait for the spooks to finish chasing the criminals
