@Telstra Yep. Unfortunately I’m so disgusted with the way I’ve been treated as a customer will see me head to @optus Telstra high prices dont reflect the service you receive from staff when there is a problem. It’s disgraceful. By far the worst telco I have dealt with, ever.

@Mark_Young05 @Optus funnily enough I'm studying data security at the moment and writing a report on user accounts and databases, i have a lot of questions. like why isn't there a government single point id system, like from Service NSW or similar for account verification

@Optus please tell your online support staff to stop referring to the data breach as an "inconvenience" your lack of security has literally ruined the lives of millions who will never have security again thanks to you, call it how it is and stop degrading paying customers

So I haven’t been with #Optus for over 6 months but apparently they kept all my data, address and IDs and it got all got leaked. Why wasn’t it deleted when I left as a customer???

So I’ve been affected by Optus’ data breach and I haven’t been a customer for so long! Argh apparently they’ve got my name, date of birth, email, phone number, address, and the numbers of my ID documents. Bit to be concerned about here 👍🏼

yeah cool nice one @optus I haven’t been a customer for two years and yet you still had my information and let it be stolen, what ******** is that about? Why are you storing former customers information?

@nigelcooperTV @Optus @Stanleysmum1 According to online support they will not be compensating customers, all we get is an insincere apology for the "inconvenience" this has caused. The person I spoke with couldn't even be bother to paste store details into the scripted response I got

@CommBank Why not inform @Optus @kbrspace that this might be a good thing to do, especially in light of the recent data breach for a significant number of Customer’s personal details
