    @recneps51 @Optus @NSW_FairTrading I bpay to telstra also, I know they charge me for a paper bill, which I request but never receive, but I don’t know about the other bit. I’d never allow direct debit, especially Optus, I used to ring them every other month about issues.

    @Telstra 2hrs this morning wasted with your member chat trying to take out a new contract, long term customer counts for nothing, go on Optus site and as a nobody I got a better deal straight off.

    @Telstra Yep. Unfortunately I’m so disgusted with the way I’ve been treated as a customer will see me head to @optus Telstra high prices dont reflect the service you receive from staff when there is a problem. It’s disgraceful. By far the worst telco I have dealt with, ever.

    @Jeremy_Kirk @medibank Not as bad, but a thing that made me go "mmm" in the Optus breach - I left them years ago but my old login details were still active; it's how I was able to contact & communicate 'securely' on the app I newly loaded. Wouldn't have occurred to me to worry about old account access.

    @nogulagsagain That's why I haven't moved an inch, & found no reason to change my IDs since Optus, Medibank & two other businesses entities contacted me about data breaches in the last 3 weeks. It's a planned panic I think. And the proposed solutions for a centralised ID don't help but worsen.

    4- today I’ve found myself with no service, when contacting optus I was informed these were ‘planned’ outages for workThough, it seems customers were not notified of these plans. When questioning when I can expect to have a working phone service I was advised FRIDAY OCTOBER 28TH

    Hopefully I have now cancelled the pre-paid internet hotspot service I had to get with Optus. The survey at the end of the chat was a bit of a joke "would you recommend Optus to a friend", answered low and "why did you give that score?" Oh, I don't know...just that massive breach

    @trevorlong Optus breach. What I don’t get Trev. Legislation on 100 points drives the retention of data. Surely a controlled API like service nsw and ato calling data verification is a far simpler ecosystem. I know I’ve just started putting in fake data.

    Optus, still doing great, after the Cyber issue, they now have an outage sending to .hotmail accounts, seems somebody has been over zealous.
