substandard copper wire technology and billions of dollars in cost blowouts. In fact, they still think the internet service that we receive now is good enough. It's not. Today, Anthony Albanese has announced Labor's plan to fix the NBN, by connecting 1.5 million more homes

@PaulFletcherMP Your tweet is a joke, right? I’m constantly tethering to my phone to be able to use the internet for my small online business. Will the LNP compensate me for all my mobile data wastage as well as having to pay a provider to use the broken NBN?

Finally got NBN last year, after paying Internode more for a slow & intermittent service than many paid for broadband. Yes, its a lottery - & now both parties want public funds used to improve nbn for those priveliged to get it early. Sux.

@PaulFletcherMP The ridiculousness of this tweet is matched by the ridiculousness of the approach of your government in the NBN fail.

Labor will fix the #NBN for an extra 1.5 million connections - which should have already been done, but LNP dismally failed to do. Increase in Mbps is only part of it. The rubbish FTTN that LNP inflicted on customers lacks RELIABILITY, LATENCY, and upload speed. Labor will fix

@PaulFletcherMP The LNP have been rolling out copper! I'm glad the ALP are making this an election issue and highlighting your complete mismanagement of the NBN it terms of cost and technology. The fact that you're now rolling out fiber (2021) shows how outdated our network already is.

@MrKRudd @AlboMP An NBN employee connecting fibre to my home a few weeks back told me it is going to cost $9 billion over five years- still it is in Dickson so Dutton probably thinks it will help him get votes- not in my house however!

typical questions from media and govt that pays a mate 10k a day per person on manus,30 mill for a 3 mill block of land and 40 billion to firms that didnt need it about labors fix nbn plan. how will you pay for it? same way the lnp has funded their rorts

@AlboMP I love this. Apart from being more expensive, nore complicated and hence less reliable the non-fibre parts of the network can’t be upgraded. The LNP crippled the NBN. I look forward to seeing the NBN restored as a first class network.
