    @DoctorKarl And I thought you were smart Internet at 11mb/s on base NBN plan is more than enough for most households Why pay more for expensive high speed just for the odd loser who wants faster. We have a population to distance problem here

    @DoctorKarl Because it is government built. There should never have been an NBN - it squeezed out all private investment which is why we are where we are now

    @Optus I checked my status on the site and no issue, but from the Optus app for NBN checks there is an outage, so I'll just be patient and wait.

    @ClaudeMandy @TimLonghurst @NBN_Australia we don’t need to go far to see a sensible separation of infrastructure and service provision - just across the ditch in NZ they’ve managed to preserve competition whilst investing in their country’s future
