@Russputin2 @MicheleScheffl1 I say “What a coincidence! My husband works for ABS/Telstra/the ATO. Wait a sec and I’ll put him on the phone.” They hang up straight away. It kept the “Telstra” scammers away for 2 years. I just got a call from them yesterday.

@Telstra @AngryNana4 I have been known to answer 'Australian Federal Police, Communication Fraud Division' they normally ask you to repeat it and the hang up.

@garystark @Telstra @VodafoneAU They actually are taking action. I write on this regularly. It's not as easy as just saying "stop" because of how they come in, though, and means users need to be educated about what they are and when to hang up.
