@Telstra Thank you for your fast response and your help. We were able to get the pensioner discount, after the earlier operator being adamant that there was no such discount available. That small savings per month is important for my 96 year old dad.

@Murphy_Steve Really well when I worked in Telstra in 1996 we were backed into a corner and our union people pressured us for more money and worse we went to protests and they were pro Pauline Hanson. I will never join a union again. I ended up retrenched and the union asked me for a donation

@Telstra Yes - mail to myself from the webmail client or from thunderbird it shows up in the inbox immediately. If I send to an external address I get it. If I try to reply from that external address, nothing. Ditto 2-3 attempts from Eastlink support to get an email to me. Thanks.

@SherrinPyke I can answer this Thats the 50 meter arc so essentially is both teams "forward line" Telstra is one of the biggest sponsors and are the Australian equivalent of AT&T (i think thats biggest network provider in america) And so have advertisment rights and are advertising 5G

Beware @Amazon Prime scam in Australia. For past few days I get a daily recorded voice message saying I'm being charged $99 for blah blah just hang up. I don't know what they ask you to do but don't! it's a scam. I also got a @Telstra call from call centre about my nbn. Scam.
