@BVDGRRL You should take a look at Australia, the biggest ISP here that owns nearly all of the fiber, cable, and telephone lines owns our countries only cable network which is owned by Rupert Murdoch and Telstra. Oh and if we go over our overpriced mobile data it's $10 dollariedoos (7usd)

@Telstra sucks..since the Sydney lightening storm there has been no internet in the Cherrybrook area for 2 weeks..the once gem of the Pacific is now a 3rd World outfit..stay away from @TelstraDev their systems are not weather proof always crashing at the first sound of thunder1/2

Well after being on hold with @Telstra for 2 1/2 hours, because of the incredibly stupid mistake they have made, I gave up. Let me thoroughly encourage anyone who's looking for an ISP to look elsewhere.

@Schoto @Telstra My late mum joined the PMG at age 16. She retired from Telecom -Telstra after 47 yrs. I have her service medal still. I think I’ll bin it. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind. My 80yo mother in law is now thinking about driving from Beaudesert to Jimboomba to sort this out at Telstra shop

My wife is trying to connect to @telstra to report her mother’s faulty landline📞. After 27 hoops, forward rolls, backflips they are now testing OUR line. This whole ludicrous process is surely designed to make people hang up in frustration. 2 hours on hold last night no response
