@andy_penn So just another junky telstra piece of crap. All these features have been available for years on standard off the shelf modems. Why lock yourself into overpriced telstra junk?

  • skwirezee
Lisa (@skwirezee) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra @Telstra it is now Sunday, still no internet. Still no real help, just going over old ground. Abysmal.

  • Ben_Preece
Ben Preece (@Ben_Preece) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra I thought the same. I’ve never even been given a time before, yet he did. His name is Peter. The link takes me to a rather useless bot. Why does not one single of you people have any accountability? I’ve been screwed today constantly.

@zanerednwhite Yeah $15 you could use Chromecast screen resolution might be poor mine 780p. I got a Telstra TV gen 3 off Facebook marketplace there were plenty of Gen 2 for $35. Resolution seemed better. $15 month to month seems ok to me

  • D0zzle
Dez (@D0zzle) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

Hey @O2 I'm in Australia at the moment. I have international roaming included in my contract. The first few days my phone was working fine but in the last 24 hours I have been getting a message saying the @Telstra network is unavailable resulting in no data access..

  • Reggi05
Laundry Worship (@Reggi05) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@jessdotceee It's a plan to get Kayo subscribers. For Telstra customer's $15 per month. Clearly a long planned move. But yeah harsh if FTA is your only option

  • paultravers007
Paul Travers (@paultravers007) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra I think it will be sorted on 10 July. Five week delay from order to installation of internet in Brisbane. I think my order got lost. And lots if phone time to find out just what was going on. Not without its problems for me. Fingers crossed for 10 July 2020. Paul

@benjaminwthomas @woolworths Not sure if u have the same problem but I haven’t had service/function on my mobile for the last 32 hours. Spoke to person @woolworths and they indicated Telstra’s resolution time is 7 days. No choice but to switch provider even though I have been very happy with woolies

  • Reggi05
Matt Time (@Reggi05) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@egadheg Not sure the Australian taxpayer has much to thank him for, Australia was an early adopter but the Telstra mobile network would have been upgraded for HSDPA anyway. Telstra had already tried 2100 3G with Orange

  • scully65
michael scully (@scully65) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra Greg! I apologize! But I tend to lose my temper every time we have contact. Suggestion: I believe there is a correlation between your mass-mailings (paper and digital) and your service line traffic. You might study the relationship and adjust accordingly.

  • Salvete02Mac
Michael Mac (@Salvete02Mac) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@VaniaL1970 @StevenJMiles @Telstra Irrelevant to the issue ..... think not be prejudiced.

  • AmandaGHoffmann
Amanda Hoffmann (@AmandaGHoffmann) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

TELSTRA | Why do your complaints office call at school drop off and pickup times. Then fail to allow the phone to ring long enough for the customer to answer the phone? #fail @Telstra

  • PaulRaidersGuy

@Telstra No reply Telstra..about as bad as the online chat help...reply back to them and they take 10 mins to get back to you.Not happy! Obviously they are dealing with various customers at once..not good customer experience..no care factor!

  • drmiketodorovic
Dr. Mike Todorovic (@drmiketodorovic) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

So @Telstra support centre won’t answer my calls. They direct me to the app. The person on the app literally says “I’m not sure what’s going on” and says I need to call the support centre. I don’t usually complain but this is the worst service I have ever received. #telstra

  • IanRobert_60
IanRob (@IanRobert_60) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra Sorry I couldn’t reply because 3G is intermittent in Woodgate as well. When it all came back on it wasn’t relevant . Pretty poor really when infrastructure’s already in place

  • goforgold80s

Hopefully most of the 000 calls Telstra failed to connect were just Sarah Henderson "testing" the network.

  • NewsTongueX
    NewsTongue (@NewsTongueX) reported

🔴 Taylor defends Henderson's triple-zero test calls during Telstra outage Opposition leader Angus Taylor said shadow communications minister Sarah Henderson was "doing her job" when she made multiple unnecessary calls to triple-zero during Wednesday's nationwide Telstra outage to test if the system was working. Criminal penalties apply to non-emergency triple-zero calls, but Henderson claimed her role placed her in a "unique position." Taylor dismissed concerns about senator Kerrynne Liddle's claim that an elderly person died during the outage after South Australia Police said they were unaware of any such death.

  • bennyb082
    Ben B (@bennyb082) reported

@SkyNewsAust What a load of nonsense, Telstra is private company how can government "systemically" fail to prevent a fault. Faults do happen even in most well designed systems.

@Blazer55 @TheKennyDevine @AnikaWells Wells came immediately back from holiday and made contact with Telstra. She gave an extensive press conference on the issue. Get your fact right. Henderson is an idiot and should be charged for making nuisance calls.

    Wot da ! (@jenkspl64) reported

    I was ready to dismiss the talk yesterday of outside interference into the Telstra network as 🐂💩 and a beat up. But, the reseting of a software's clock is a very old hack, well known to create havoc in many systems. Two questions: who wrote the update's code, a human or AI;
