@joneaves @bookshopaddict Oh yeah. My family have been Telstra customers for years and every single time we speak to someone offshore something goes wrong. Onshore customer service are at least a little better at understanding customer frustrations (even if they aren't much better at solving problems)

@Telstra 1. Telstra App tells me to call re troubleshooting steps on a previously reported fault. 2. On first call, after waiting in queue, just get told to hang up and call again (?!) 3. On second call, am promised a call back, call back comes but then auto hangs up on me. WTF?

@TelstraAU new business model - hold customers hostage. Been waiting since 18 Jan for my number to be ported to @Optus. Poor Telstra complaints officer calls me every 3 days to let me know it 'hasn't been processed yet'...hostage taking the new attempt to stem the flow. Classy
