Paul Maynard (@pauldotm) reportedThe exisiting tech support could be retained within the NMN preserving that knowledge base and the mobile networks could be better enmeshed with the NBN. Coverage could be better managed.

Darren (@DoodyDarren) reported@ianclarkeAU @CovfefeDnUnder The NBN cannot do it now, but the optic fibres it uses can. Only the gear at either end changes. There is not a wireless system in existence that could carry the existing load of the NBN, let alone future needs. Talk to a network engineer, please.

FarCue (@FarCueCunce) reportedJust had the Indian "tradie" experience. Our ISP offered free connection to the NBN fibre network so they sent out the installer. Long story short, I rejected his ludicrous proposal to destroy my concrete slab driveway so they could run the shortest cheapest route of cables.

TassieDevyl (@TasDevyl) reported@ArtistAffame That's not bad. The only option I have where I am is Fixed Wireless. Essentially 4G/5G cell tower and fixed "antenna" on the roof. NBN service via iinet (TPG). Given the distance from the tower I only get a portion of the theoretical maximum throughput. Costs more than your plan.

Haalyle (@Haalyle) reportedNo wifi today, we've had some electrical problems, mainly to do with the washing machine. That just means a relaxing Sunday of playing them games (now that the electricity is on). (NBN always takes a long time to recover.)

Mitchell Costin (@mitchell_costin) reported@RobERussell1 @FranMooMoo Yes it is. I did some checking&at the moment I'm better off staying with the NBN network. I have told this to Elon many times,but I never get an answer. Same goes for his paid premium subscription to X. It sounds reasonable in American dollars, but that explodes in our currency.
