@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@elee_bella In the meantime, for about $300 all up I'm using an Optus Netgear AC800 4G modem-router with an aerial and the required TS-9 connector (from Jaycar) because I'm a little itinerant atm and stay at places with **** coverage. Works great but is still more exxy than NBN.

@JulianHillMP The other day he acted like he was so maggotted that he was barely coherent. WFH means you don't even need to walk to the tablet/laptop. How munted do you need to be to not even be able to operate that? Surely not? Maybe he just doesn't feel like coming to work? Or NBN fail?

@LesStonehouse @Cobra1A He will hang in there as he is determined to stay in power, so he is working on compromising his directions and policies to get over the line in March .. then after getting more years he can sell the ABC, Aust Post and NBN as well as change Medicare and industrial relations

@andy_penn This has been an issue since before the NBN was even constructed. You don’t need them to tell you what speeds they can provide, you need to test it when it’s connected, and regularly test connections to ensure they don’t degrade.
