I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

@sapphirereport @TPG_Telecom It has been happening in my area too but there is no firm action by @TPG_Telecom other than false confirmation that issue was fixed by NBN.

@Fireborn87 @NBN_Australia Hear, hear. I just got Belong 4g to try and get better value, but it's terrible. I also have it on my phone, which is fine, but the 5g SIM I have in my home modem just won't stay connected. Might have to try Optus network for home, or budget to go back to Starlink. This is STUPID

@archcontext @newscorpaus Problem is in many regional, rural and remote areas satellite dishes are relied upon for telecommunications when NBN, free to air channels and even radio reception drop out & are unreliable. So Murdoch rules.

@TonyCinema If you mean 4G, I have a good data allowance on my mobile plan and often resort to using it when the internet through the NBN is chronically slow but it is still about 50% below what I pay my ISP for.

@RuncibleH Friends/ colleagues I know, including ourselves, have lost internet connection because of failing parts in the NBN nodes. Whilst they have been swift to respond, one can’t help but think how much better a @AustralianLabor roll-out would have been. #LNPfail #LNPNeverAgain

@NBN_Australia I am with more broadband and my uni-d ports are not enabled from nbn side. It’s been nearly a day already. I need to be online for work. Why does it take more than a day to fix something on software side in this day and age!

@redwinewombat The response I got from iinet suggests there is a difference of opinion between them and NBN as to who should pay for the final few metres of fibre to deliver the level of service I have been paying for over the last 6 years but have rarely received.
