@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Craig, ring the Telecommunication Ombudsman, make a complaint. Process is the ob contacts the party required, that party then has 48 hrs to contact you and generally 5 days to rectify the situation. The party is monitored by the ob, and if they fail, they are fined. Just an idea.

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia NBN provide the cabling in the street and up to the outside of your house. Anything inside your house, including your internet connection is a service provider thing. analogy: if your oven stops working, you don't call Energy Australia, you call the oven manufacturer.

@Douglasac10 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Right. Was just clarifying. Anything other than the modem is either NBN or provider responsibility, mainly due to regulations. Btw, used to contract to Telstra resolving issues like this. Sadly nobody has those departments these days. And NBN 😥😥

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia This is what frustrates me the most about the NBN - There is no direct communication to them. Even when talking to the suppliers it's pretty clear they can only send NBN a message and hope NBN respond in a few hours. It's broken by design.
