@iiNet hi, our nbn is down. Is there an issue?

  • freakboy3742 Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

I’d also like to thank the @iiNet support staff out of whom I had to drag every last detail about how the @NBN_Australia fault investigation process would proceed.

  • freakboy3742 Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

  • _Just ᴊᴜѕᴛɪɴ (@_Just) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

  • _Just ᴊᴜѕᴛɪɴ (@_Just) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

    @shibz_1989 @DeadlineDavis @LachlanLachlang @McTez I’m on the NBN 100 and get 93 down and 35 up consistently.

  • freakboy3742 Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

  • NitinGu67644653 Nitin Gupta (@NitinGu67644653) reported

@Telstra after months of struggle finally Telstra replaced NBN modem. Telstra deleted all chat history from Telstra app. Telstra tried to make unautorised transections on my card. List is too long. The worst support possible. Please stay away from Telstra if you can.

  • Aussie_girl57 In a nutshell (@Aussie_girl57) reported

@markhumphries What a load of BS . The home owner should pay the installation. NBN internet is now a basic service. Gas , electricity and water are installed and paid for by home owner while renter pays specific service provider . Landlord rip off.

  • Brucesm18536877 Bruce smith (@Brucesm18536877) reported

@NBN_Australia Wait till Starlink becomes affordable and you won't exist anymore. Starlink came in because Aus has one of the worst speeds of internet provided by you. Embarrassing I get 5mbps down on FTTN. How much useless can you be??

  • Pits666 Pits, Maestro (@Pits666) reported

Must be a big nbn outage somewhere yeah?

  • Amarillo1942237 Amarillo (@Amarillo1942237) reported

@_bin_chicken @markhumphries If you lump the cost of connecting to the existing NBN service onto the property owner, it will be passed on anyway, and the tenant will not have their choice of provider. Often this is bundled with mobiles, etc.

  • clirim16 cm16 (@clirim16) reported

@BelongAU I’m a customer with you guys and am having big problems with my nbn connection

  • AlistairKBirch Alistair K Birch (@AlistairKBirch) reported

@markhumphries In the bad old Telstra-monopoly days, I was charged $400 to connect a phone line, just so that my ISP could cancel it and take over the copper for ADSL. And it was an existing building, just the previous tenant did not have a phone service. NBN is cheaper than what came before!

  • notmrdarcy080 notmrdarcy (@notmrdarcy080) reported

@markhumphries Maybe you can lobby him to help get renters connected to NBN for free.

  • LifeofRoger Roger db (@LifeofRoger) reported

@Aussie_BB @FrothingMuppet Hi, I'm an ABB customer of about 3 years with home NBN connection. Just thinking about your mobile plans, which network do you use? Telstra? i work away a lot so just wondering.

  • yaleman43381258 James Hodgkinson (@yaleman43381258) reported

@NBN_Australia I’d like to, but the FTTN here is a joke. Don’t bother asking for details, your infrastructure is bad and you refuse to acknowledge it.
