I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

@NBN_Australia my internet has been out for over 3 hours. The NBN co site says ‘no outage detected’ and my provider says the same. My parents, on the same street, also have no internet. They are with a different provider, but we are on the same node.

So we contacted @Telstra on THREE separate occasions to ensure our nbn connection would be transferred correctly. They still managed to get it wrong. They’ve disconnected us & told us a technician cannot rectify THEIR error until next week. Appalling service.

@drvyom They spent it all hiring a mobile transceiver for 2/12 after the base station on the ridge 2km away was destroyed during the fires on the far south coast 2019-2020, now we're back to No Service/SOS Only/0-1 Bar since the base station has been "repaired" no NBN, net access 3G🤬

@Optus Fix the service! NO PHONE for 24hrs now...this is not on in floods. No communication with family they were very worried. Maybe lucky that after about 12hrs my Telstra NBN came on to at least let ppl know we were okay. Fix the phones! I can't call about appts or family

@MothershipJLH $520K would have fully 'fibred up' a whole suburb before LNP & Mr Internet nobbled the whole NBN rollout, to protect Ruperts' crappy Pay TV network from collapse.
