  @showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia The wireless modem is worth the extra $10/month. I can work, kids are happy, wife can do her work, but says it is slow, but okay.

  @ellymelly Never, as a former employee of NBN, I had proposed a non terrestrial backup service but they flatly refused to consider updating their satellite communications, and now we are digitally vulnerable.

  @TopherField I tried for 6 months to get my faulty NBN fixed (FTTN - copper/xdsl for the last 0.9km). NBN blamed the retailer who blamed NBN. I gave up and put in Starlink and have never looked back (4 years ago). NBN dug up the street 2 years ago to install fibre to the premises - I have a pit at the boundary of my property. My property is marked as 'NBN Ready'. Problem is that they never actaully pulled any fibre in the street !! The NBN is a huge scam.

  @NBN_Australia Sadly, thanks to Abbott & @TurnbullMalcolm the only NBN I can get is the APPALLING satellite ‘service’. At least once a day, but usually several times a day, the service drops out. Previously reported; NBN ‘tested’ & says it’s OK. IT IS NOT. … 1/2

  @TopherField The NBN started in Broken Hill my refrigeration systems on the towers where the only ones running when it hit 45c. They rang me up and said how come mine where the only one still working. Because I used Temperzone Australian Airconditioners with adjustable head preasure I increased. I didnt tell them all they had to do with the other was remove the thermistors off the head preasure on the American systems.

  @Suburbia3121 I’ve had it for a while now Andy… you won’t be surprised to know the NBN in Romsey is crap! lol Starlink obv not the cheapest but it’s been an absolute game changer for us.

  @cb_doge The rural numbers are the real story imo. NBN was supposed to fix that gap and Starlink just walked in and did it faster.
