  @eevblog @MichaelSmicqfw Really? I think that was only in the context of your NBN being down for a week... Starlink (or any satellite internet) really isn't useful in a city like Sydney, and when lots of people insist on using it there it will only get more and more expensive. It is for rural areas.

  @Telstra When are you getting us a cell tower @Telstra?? This is dangerous! NBN connections are so bad we had to sign up for Opticomm, which until today, was awesome. But an all day outage and I'm working from my car.

  When I went into the carport, the light was on, the power point was turned off and the ethernet cable ripped out and the port was broken. He had taken the cover off the NBN box and that's what woke me up- when he was putting it back on. Pretty sure he was looking for a spare key

  @Starlink I’m one **** around on price from going over to NBN fixed wireless which has been rolled out in my area since I got Starlink. The chapping and changing is bullshit

  Australia’s biggest fumbles I have seen in my lifetime so far have been missing the boat on nuclear in the 90s (I don’t believe it is worth it today) and the NBN. Anyone who caused their poor outcomes should be strung up for it.

  @venteaVT My house has starlink, runs at about 160 mbps at best and it’s like 3x faster than the nbn at my parents house, Australian wifi is so bad

  @WSWanderingEels @ardmorelad Yep Aus govt also own the NBN network who mainly use the Telstra network, amongst other smaller players. Everyone gets a drink

  Home internet is down, BUT, according to Australia's "Lightning Fast" NBN... There IS no outage... Yeahhhhhhh.... The "Not Online" indicator light says otherwise. Optus are now "confirming" there's a problem... 🙄
