@danieljohnmck @AussieBroadband I rang them and they were sympathetic, but couldn’t help in our area. I’m planning to call them again if nbn ever gets here.

@AlboMP The pit outside my house looks the same. I live on the Northern Beaches, in Sydney. I have had 3 equipment failures replaced in 4 months of service. Atrocious. @NBN_Australia

@AlboMP We are waiting for an NBN connection in the Blue Mountains. It will be fibre to the kerb. Our old copper wire connection to the house looks like what’s in that pit. The last time a Telstra service person looked at it, he said it was “stuffed”. But it’s what will connect us.

@VictoriaFreshy @AlboMP To be fair thats not the govt fault but NBN's fault for poor planning. The govt didnt individually plan and place each and every pit or wire, come on mate if your going to hate on them at least choose something that's actually their fault

@AlboMP Thankfully my house is serviced by FTTP - 100% reliable since day 1. Everyone I know who has FTTN has had issues, some of which have taken months to rectify and cost NBN (taxpayers) $$$ to fix.

@kaakoda_moore @AlboMP Actually, thats pretty slow. I was able to get that on an ADSL2 connection using a standard phone line which cost me way less than $65 a month. Its also not as good as the slowest fixed NBN line I’ve heard of which was 24 MBPS.

@AlboMP You really are a tosser. WTF did Scott Morrison have to do with ushering in the NBN... it was your treasonous mate Turnbull who was to blame.

@kristoforlawson Opticomm is the connection that you may be on, which is why our service has been affected - are you with NBN, or Opticomm? If you're with NBN, we suggest restarting your router, or troubleshooting with our team on 1300 880 905. Kindest, Lizzie

@AlboMP Labor initiated the NBN network. A physical cable thats going to be outdated quicker than copper. 5G is already doing that.
