@DaveMilbo Could not agree more!!! My cable connection was bloody amazing, then it all went to crap when i was forced onto the NBN. You're right, the media in this country was/is a disgrace!

@BrowntownBrew @GuruEden @DaveMilbo I’m reporting my internet up/down speeds. In three different locations (Carlton, Vic, and then Corrimal and later Wollongong, NSW) there was fibre to my home. Now in Leichhardt NSW, it’s copper HFC. All those were (and are) substantially worse than pre-nbn tech.

@DaveMilbo My NBN fell over the day it was installed on the Faulty wires I had finally got Telstra to stop using, I have given up trying to get the service put back to the good wires. More than 4 yrs now I was charged for a premium service when they can only deliver 1/2 the speed I paid for

@DaveMilbo The HFC network was a dumbster fire that NBN had to pour a fortune into making fit for purpose. My understanding was most HFC areas had been fixed by now. Have you been logging faults with a decent provider?

@news_australian Tell this to the NBN, worst thing libs ever touched, look at the money wasted on copper maintenance and the tax payers fleeced with speeds reduced for people stuck on fixed wireless classed as heavy users - haha what a joke the NBN has become.
