@belindasmilne @geoffrey_payne @AlboMP NBN working with the copper mess that Telstra left. Had been bodging up our phone service for ever. Ask anyone who had a clue, should have been fibre. But no! Had to go ‘cheap’? Screwed Australia’s digital future.

  • IanGeorgeAtkin1 Ian George Atkinson (@IanGeorgeAtkin1) reported

@AlboMP The Australia people are being lied to and conned by the NBN co and the LNP federal so-called government. It needs yet another royale commission to yet again to recommend how to fix the LNP stuff-ups.

  • brenton_dumesny Brenton Dumesny (@brenton_dumesny) reported

@VictoriaFreshy @AlboMP To be fair thats not the govt fault but NBN's fault for poor planning. The govt didnt individually plan and place each and every pit or wire, come on mate if your going to hate on them at least choose something that's actually their fault

  • Naran_shres Narayan Shrestha (@Naran_shres) reported

@NBN_Australia any findings on why Nbn is down from yesterday 9pm in Broadmeadows, 3047

  • DrDarkhorse Rupert (@DrDarkhorse) reported

@Trader_C_ASX unfortunately in Australia, we still don't have true NBN speeds with fibreoptic. This is because traffic must be merged at a node before entering the network. (cars merging onto a highway.) Houses closer to the nodes have faster speeds. some suburbs only have one node!

  • Aussie_BB Aussie Broadband (@Aussie_BB) reported

@Northernpommy Hi Elaine, the outage above is just for OptiComm customers, not NBN. So this won’t affect your NBN appointment today. Cheers, Stuart

  • Northernpommy Elaine Davies (@Northernpommy) reported

@Aussie_BB You organised someone to come today to check out my NBN i hope that i wont get charged for this if this is a major problem.?

  • kristoforlawson Kristofor Lawson (@kristoforlawson) reported

@Aussie_BB We’re on NBN though and have had the issue for 24 hours. Have restarted the modem multiple times. We aren’t opticomm to my knowledge, we are FTTN NBN, but when I called yesterday was told our connection was part of the ongoing outage.

  • ArmytagePrivate Armytage Private (@ArmytagePrivate) reported

@AlboMP Pretty sure this started with Labor and how they could do it FTT home. We are now short NBN and a national transmission network. Better than Sally Capp ruining Melbourne CBD

  • SucklingBen Ben Suckling (@SucklingBen) reported

@AlboMP Thankfully my house is serviced by FTTP - 100% reliable since day 1. Everyone I know who has FTTN has had issues, some of which have taken months to rectify and cost NBN (taxpayers) $$$ to fix.
