@RachelWhelband @Whiny_Bimbo You should get a online payment system from your bank. You turn up @ the farm, invoice in hand, machine ready. No cash, no problem. Just tap. Hopefully they are not too remote & the internet or NBN are workable.

Australia's internet network infrastructure (the NBN) is treated as a publicly owned utility Shouldn't our electricity transmission and generation infrastructure be treated the same way, as a public service?

  • recneps51 Komrade (@recneps51) reported

@WeAreAllVIPs It's going to take a while but Labor are going to fix the NBN. No thanks to the Libs.

  • mistwhisperer selgnorts (@mistwhisperer) reported

@SincDavidson So if by some strange occurrence the satellite system goes down big time, and I know already it will never happen so don't bother, but if it did, say like the NBN drops out every now and then, do we all just scribble IOUs on bits of paper? Or starve?

  • mishasan7 Michelle Sargent (@mishasan7) reported

@sovereignmetoo @NickFeik Hardly contributing anything meaningful to conversation if you don’t even know who’s been in power & screwing us the last decade. Infrastructure, economy, social support & general progress always better under Labor; Medicare, NDIS, nbn, carbon credits etc. Labor NOT same as Lib.

  • zagrinch Za Grinch (@zagrinch) reported

@couriermail What it actually said (hint: it's in your own story): NBN Co claimed prices needed to be increased due to “increasing competition from 4G, 5G, fixed wireless network and low-earth orbit satellite operators in those markets in which residential services are supplied."

@NBN_Australia @Aussie_BB @Aussie_BB I see the Download Sync has snuck back up to 80.8Mbps but the stability profile sets it back to about 65Mbps. In the modem logs I have log entries all the time like 28.05.2022 05:02:30 Info DHCPC The WAN DHCP client IP address x.x.x.x
