@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

Almost 3 hours wasted with back and forth messages to @telstra via their app. Maybe a phone call would sort out this NBN (wifi) problem.

@jmil400 Currently the NBN trouble-shooters refuse to speak to me… hang up when they find out I’m on group call. Next attempt is Monday morning. Internode have offered to pay compensation when it’s NBN’s fault. I told them that I want a device for connection & I will send them a bill.

@DodoAustralia Nope. I have had 2 tech's come out and check my lines inside my house and also down at the node, which is 20 Metres away. Seems to be the same issue with the lines, nothing gets done. I'm not paying for an NBN service that drops out constantly and multiple times everyday.

@NewtonMark The deeper issue is - tech shouldn't matter if NBN actually was made to care about the end result for consumers rather than "minimal effort to enforce monopoly rents".

@NewtonMark I’d argue management at NBN needs to be gutted and refilled before anything meaningful will happen, they’re calcified with profoundly broken notions of what they think they should be doing. Anything short of this is a Band-Aid on a tumour.

@NBN_Australia How can you close a job as fixed and the customer has to ring back the same day, with the same problem? 1 of your techs told a fib about where our node is, left for an hour and returned and said fixed. Next never even found the pit, put in a request for it to be found, job closed

@withsobersenses @NoLuckLopez I mean I don't! But if we nationalised the grids, guaranteed it will revert back to private control if there's no plan to deal with underlying issues a la copper network and NBN
