@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

@Tweetn2You @FraudbandAU @NBN_Australia Since the FTTP was PON, it didn’t have nodes, it was passive back to the exchange (just splitters in the roadside cabinets/pits). The exchange had battery backup, and NBN would install a little UPS in the home. So no, it would work in a power outage to either.

@LucyTurnbull_AO @QuentinDempster @zalisteggall Too bad your husband promoted Christian Porter, he did nothing while in power about all this sleazy behaviour in Parliament, and why did he deliberately stuff up the NBN roll out? As a favour for Murdoch?

@iiNet My NBN modem keeps losing its connection to your network. This has been happening every hour the whole day! NBN site don’t list any outages in my area (Ryde). What’s going on?

@HeyMizner @NBN_Australia If only! The apartment block is responsible for the node to apartments so I'd end up paying anyway 🙄 bloody government should have built a proper fibre broadband network to the home. Now we're 10-15 behind the rest of the world. Botswana has faster internet.

@VodafoneAU I have tried everything. Calls. Chats. Email. Fb messenger. Now tweeting. Failure to set up my NBN and now you cut off my back up service for a week! I can’t run my business off a phone hot spot. Very polite. No action. #frustrated.

@NBN_Australia Thanks. We are still down. Talking with our WiFi provider but seems no issues their end. That said they are running tests.

@Telstra still waiting for nbn connection after 3 weeks... wasting hours on the phone... feels like a terrible merry-go-round.

@stephengentle @FraudbandAU @NBN_Australia If power is out to the main exchange &/or nodes of network; FttP still will not work for premises connected, as the network still requires electricity to run equipment & battery backups are only for temporary use & not to power the entire network to all premises etc.

@iTnews_au I agree with Telstra on this, that said, this also needs saying - @Telstra, what goes around comes around, this is EXACTLY how you treated ISP's with access to your dslams and network for decades... K A R M A .. remember 99% of NBN are ex-Telstra just using the Telstra playbook

Telstra nbn is down in our area because of the floods and I’m only getting 3G and everything is taking years to load.
