@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

@Torkium @Telstra We had cable internet and personal phone- no problems. The change to nbn with Telstra was utterly hopeless. They were so OPAQUE and wouldn’t answer simple questions.

@Optus how do I get help with NBN after a storm? I ring, the call drops out after 30 minutes. I use the chat, no response after an hour.

@PerrettReport Yep. Scam call. Clumsy wording like "Nbn from Telstra". With *any* unsolicited comms - phone, email, bank, whatever - use your own means to find contact info for the provider in question and call them back If there really is a problem then you'll get help. If no problem, u r safe

@NBN_Australia Thanks Rose. Technician coming Thursday. But @NBN_Australia should be looking for a better solution for #Bluemountains - we all can't afford to lose days (weeks) connection every time there is a thunderstorm

I thought nbn Internet was meant to be quicker/better because it is based off a cable? Gosh I hope ive done the right thing by going with @VodafoneAU because it’s not great and keeps swapping to the 3/4G. Might have to jump online and check service.. 🤔
