Depends on the day & whether the NBN is on or down. 4g up or 3G standby. Same old same old

Tweet Whisperer (@Ausshot3Dave) reported from Northam, Western Australia@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

Tweet Whisperer (@Ausshot3Dave) reported from Northam, Western Australia@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

DerKrampus (@gaymilkisgay) reported@ianclarkeAU NBN is not a cellular network - I think your statement is illogical.
-
Thomas (@RedoubtOfThomas) reported@lowlandsapien Never forget the NBN rollout either.
-
Brian Smith (@sm59589971) reported@BiteSizedMediaX The Howard Costello government also left a future fund which is something like $240 billion now. Labour are eyeing that off, I wonder if they’ve already broken into it. Rather than just paying into it, they bought out NDIS, Nbn, all these other green BS things.
-
David Havyatt (@havyatt) reported@RizviAbul Do people in remote cattle stations get assistance? Did anyone see the tv show Keeping Up with the Jones’s. The big remote stations are big businesses. But yes we support them with flying doctor,, school of the air, satellite NBN. 1/2

John45 (@John45OverIt) reported@Batman2242 LOL what a stupid take. that bit of fibre shits on starlink - the current record is 1.02 Petabits per Second (Pb/s). As they say, you get what you pay for. Oh also, what does it cost the consumer for NBN vs Starlink.
-
Deevitha (@Deevitha_) reportedFinally bit the bullet and got Starlink installed. Highly impressed, the speed and stability runs everything beautifully. We haven’t had a single circle of death anywhere. No more dealing with the shortfalls of NBN lines, poor workmanship and dodgy patchwork repairs. In our exit survey from the old company I let them know the reason for leaving was the poor service the NBN infrastructure can provide, and now that customers have another choice we aren’t limited by the failing system. Highly recommend the switch if you have been considering it.
-
Upside (@Antiwoke7777) reported@MrsS2023 We got sick of nbn and starlink has not let us down
-
Richard (@R4dicalCentrist) reportedTrue. NBN Co is the picture of efficiency and never suffers outages or coverage issues.
-
Peter Dewar (@PeterD84508) reported@timritchie It was failed PM John Howard that sold off Telstra to the tax payers that already owned it. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....

captaincook 🇦🇺 e/acc (@a_captaincook) reported@fathamburger @balajis @anwaribrahim Lol, ya NBN is ****, I moved off to Starlink myselves, agree on most counts actually. But why keep Aussies out? allow those who want to also move in. The point of SEZ would be that it would be a siloed regime that is more tax friendly.
