  @eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

  @Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

  @ScramblerDJ @AlanBixter Privatise the profits, blame the losses on the employees and take as much taxpayer support as you can get but spend it on “management” salaries and perks not services to the public. Other examples - Telstra, Commonwealth Bank, State Electricity Commission Vic, NBN, Aged Care..

  @mypecker009 @YesYesYo13 Dumb and dumber network got it wrong in their caption. They were sentenced not because of NBN-ZTE but because Lozada anomalously awarded 7k hectares of govt land to his brother.

  @onlyapaprmoon Lion is tempted to get an old Ericophone at an auction and hook it up. Should work fine with his NBN modem but may not be able to dial out from it if NBN modems don't support pulse dialing.

  So for nearly 7 months since moving, @NBN_Australia has been slow but thought nothing of it. Decided to question @Optus, I’ve been paying $79p/m - they inform me NBN was never activated and the internet has been running off a back up. Should I be paying for this? Apparently so….
