Tweet Whisperer (@Ausshot3Dave) reported from Northam, Western Australia@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

Tweet Whisperer (@Ausshot3Dave) reported from Northam, Western Australia@colinelvy11 @EBAR99999 @billshortenmp @westaustralian @Y7News @Riley7News @pollietracker @BasilZempilas WA the state of excitement, or Wait Awhile. Depends on the day & whether the NBN is on or down. 4g up or 3G standby. Same old same old

Tweet Whisperer (@Ausshot3Dave) reported from Northam, Western Australia@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

Communal Noodle (@Communal_Noodle) reported@eevblog @Aussie_BB NBN = No Bloody Network.
-
Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported@impalethevlad It doesn't work like that when the entire business park NBN is down and many thousands of people are suddenly trying to find cellular workarounds.
-
Caron Derbe (@DerbeCaron54429) reported@NBN_Australia How much longer for this outage to be fixed i live in postcode are 2153
-
Graham Heathcote (@larry_the_van) reported@wilburston @robb_j_m $110 per month is more expensive than most NBN plans - unless you’re out of NBN range and need satellite, Starlink will never be better - it’s physically impossible.

Lucas | 🇦🇺 (@TheBlackWallaby) reported@australian Even Tesla is made in China, so what is the actual issue here? This was sent from my Mac Mini, made in China, sitting on a desk made in China, connected to the NBN through a Wi-Fi gateway made in China, typed from my Logitech keyboard, made in China, while I sit in an office chair made in China, looking at a Samsung monitor made in, checks notes, Vietnam. At some point the argument has to get more precise than “China bad.” If the concern is connected vehicles, telemetry, firmware access, data storage, or fleet security for MPs, then make that argument properly and apply it consistently across all networked devices. But pretending Chinese EVs are uniquely suspicious while half the modern office supply chain is already Chinese-made is not analysis. My iPhone (made in China) is connected to my Apple Auto - driving me around tracking me on a GPS map, with a microphone that works, and the Head Unit (made in China) Where does it end?

Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.
-
Russell Drysdale :#IStandWithAlbo (@Russputin2) reported@FinancialReview If only Rupert hadn't nobbled Labors' Full Fibre NBN, you'd know that it was the deposed LNP Crime Org, that closed down fuel refining & storage in Australia.
-
MR Reilly (@mrr78504) reported@econoadabsurdam @LeeRespecter The NBN might plausibly have increased productivity if it had retained its original scope (A FTTN fibre backbone network independent of Telstra that would allow telecommunication companies to compete on an equal footing). Instead it got rolled out first in Tasmania.
-
The InfraDev (@theinfradev) reported@malimber01 @robb_j_m What are you talking about. The NBN was created from nothing and only cost so much in the end because it was saddled with Telstra's **** copper infra by the libs and had to essentially build it twice.
-
Majyqman (@Majyqman42) reported@larrikinstreak @robb_j_m The ISP pays a significant portion of the price of a service to NBN. I don’t know where you pulled your **** from to think it was free, but perhaps go fling it somewhere else.
