    @eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

    @Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

    @larissawaters Scientists can be wrong. Like they were wrong about acid rain in the 80s, like they were wrong about the drought that was so bad Victoria just HAD to have a desal plant, like they were wrong about the best way to deliver the NBN, like they were wrong about COVID in Vic………

    Awful customer service from Optus, trying to upgrade NBN plan and chat agents just giving up halfway through for no reason. Should just be a simple no touch process online... No store in North Sydney to help either.

    @JonoH @fictillius @launtel I believe most premises are still GPON, and NBN are upgrading to XGS as needed. I do think 2000 down over GPON is pushing it a bit in terms of congestion, but I guess we'll see.

    Netflix making me sign in on the wifi to avoid password sharing is so ******* dumb. I haven’t left the house in days babe I just live in australia where if I want to stream it’s gotta be on a data plan, the nbn isn’t built for this!!

    💡 Tip: If your provider has communicated that they have accelerated your speed, but you’re not seeing changes, try power cycling your nbn box & Wi-Fi router. Unplug, wait a minute, then plug back in. If you need a hand, reach out to your provider for support. (2/2)

    @MickamiousG @PMalinauskasMP True, I’ve been with them since 2010 with my mobile and cable. No problems. I could only access the NBN through Telstra in 2020. What a nightmare that was to get connected- more than a month, no shows, no excuses, hopeless

    Still trying really hard to get my new modem to work at the #nbn increased upload speed, to no avail. Logged into my #ISP #RSP account and ran a service test, but that didn't help anything. My old modem works fine for the 100Mbps upload, but the new modem is capped at 50Mbps.
