@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

@deniseshrivell I have the original Labor NBN fibre to the premises and it is great. Have never once waited for something to stream or dropped out of a Zoom call etc.

@deniseshrivell I have FTTN, it's connected to a node 1.3km from our house, (not the one 50m up the street!). Terrible speeds from day one that have never improved over 3 years. I have written and spoken to my ISP(s) and @NBN_Australia many times and they have continually refused to do anything.

@mcmda @deniseshrivell I have had satellite Foxtel for ages and haven’t had any issues at all. Makes sense to free up bandwidth for NBN

Internet down again. WTAF is wrong with our stupid NBN? National Barbaric Network. Gotta call tech support so they can instruct me on how to pull out plugs and replug them. Then finally after 5 hours they say, 'oh looks like you have a line fault' Thanks brainiac

@deniseshrivell We don’t have nbn or mobile reception. Just 10 minutes from small country town that has nbn & terrific mobile service, we’re on satellite and landline. Satellite drops out if it’s windy - great on total fire ban days!

@deniseshrivell My #NBN only works in fine weather, everytime it rains it stops for 15 mins to 5 hrs one of the pits fills with water. Techos reported the problem for NBN Co attention 2 years ago

@deniseshrivell For weeks had NBN drop out every 10-20 minutes. I’ve got FTTN. Msg Optus, they get NBN tech out, he says copper network was **** to start with. Fixes something in the street. Optus gives me a new modem “just in case” Is it fixed yet? NO!

@deniseshrivell You’d also think that @NBN_Australia would be embarrassed by all the horrible stories, particularly when lined up with all the FTTP positive stories. #policyfailure

@deniseshrivell My ADSL2 was so awful (and phone issues with waterlogged pits) HFC NBN was a significant improvement (I get the speed I’m paying for). But service people are still replacing broken stuff on street electricity poles.

@deniseshrivell Got fibre no node. Waited 6 weeks after it was ment to be installed then a call to my member to get a nbn tech to fix it after another 6 weeks of drop outs.
