@eLFB57 @AusIndiMedia Yep Telstra upgrading network with optic fibre. LNP/Labor, must stop this! Bring in the Yanks, privatise, create NBN. Telstra stops & gives up. Those that have fibre lucky. The rest of us, too bad, pay for substandard crap! Don’t you just love privatisation.

@GeorgeBludger @guytaur Reminds me of the Coles ad. Down down we are going down down & further down. NBN the LNP success story. Bit like their economics credibility

@Aussie_BB @DanGayfer @NBN_Australia Good on ya. But I bet you tell people to speak to their phone provider on faults. And that’s the start of the run around. You only provide the service & equipment to access. Not the medium where the faults are.

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia The write off was due to LNP trying to reuse the copper. They spent a lot of money redesigning the network, a heap more on new copper, but never replaced the copper that was the costliest part of the network - between home and pillar. They now admit the copper provides no return

My internet (@NBN_Australia ) has been down for 3 consecutive days now Makes working from home MIGHTY expensive (have to use my 5g plan) More annoyingly; the 5G is clogged up too because everyone's now on that instead of NBN ARGH

@Telstra We’ve been advised to go to NBN Sky Muster service.

@mycrouch Without funding to undo the mess created by LNP, the service and price of #nbn will always suffer.

@NBN_Australia For those wondering; The response was "lol no clue when you'll have the service you're paying for again :D" But with fancy words.

@GrahamY 100% true. But Rudd never paid a price for NBN stuff up. Turnbull did. And Australian consumers.

@Sophilautia They called me before I got a chance and basically said. Noticed some issues with your connection. Were getting NBN out to look at it. Ended up being a node issue but yeah proactive reaching out is great.

@itshughesy @NBN_Australia 5g is far superior, 650mbits down for the same price as a NBN connection that can only offer up to 100mbits down…Latency is still fantastic. The NBN was a tragedy in terms of execution, a shining beacon of failure of greedy government, it could have been something special…

@gmclwill @TonyBoydAFR So in the outset you can see he lays blame on ALP for the financial mess and makes out that Turnbull did the right thing in trying to reduce costs and use copper. The main reason for the write down and low value was the LNP decision to reuse copper #nbn

NBN is an absolute disgrace! Some may call it a first world problem that we don’t have internet - but I do live in a first world country! Pathetic!
