@TPG_Telecom Hi, is there an NBN outage in Mosman, Sydney? Been down for over an hour.

Hi All, just wondering how many people out there are getting really really #bad_Internet from @TPG_Telecom at the moment - they tell me they have resolved my complexes connectivity issues but even though I am connected 50% plus of the sites I go to are timing out so much for FTTB

  • JamesGreenhal20 James Greenhalgh (JG) (@JamesGreenhal20) reported

@TPG_Telecom's customer backend has always been archaic, but you lived with it because the value was there and the service reasonable. The world has moved on. Aussie Broadband's $ABB service has been great - easy setup, local call centres and a decent app. 3/4

  • VBLONGNECK Jesse (@VBLONGNECK) reported

@TPG_Telecom It just never works I’m paying for nbn and apparently I have the best that yous have to offer. But yeah never works I’ll be leaving and finding another internet provider

  • aussiecake Eddie (@aussiecake) reported

@TPG_Telecom what is happening with your support? I keep getting dropped on my phone calls and progress nowhere with my issue. I've tried calling 4 times in the past week now. Starting to regret switching over to you. DO BETTER!

  • aussiecake Eddie (@aussiecake) reported

@TPG_Telecom please help! My voip phone has not worked since I switched over to you 12 days ago. I have had countless support call and keep getting bounced from one department to another. Abysmal support.

  • JamesGreenhal20 James Greenhalgh (JG) (@JamesGreenhal20) reported

Admittedly this is mainly a customer whinge (and I have lodged a complaint with @TPG_Telecom today). But there are plenty of nimble competitors now nipping at this incumbent's heels. A $12bn market cap seems a lot. That Teoh is selling tells you something. No positions. 4/4

@TPG_Telecom That website is reporting no outage in my area :\ that's my concern

  • mushroompanda Michael Wu (@mushroompanda) reported

@JamesGreenhal20 @TPG_Telecom I was with iiNet for many years and when they were purchased by TPG, the customer support got noticeably worse after a few years. $ABB.AX and $SLC.AX both have great customer service and run their own fibre. Very little reason to stay with the big telcos.

  • Andrew_gill6 Andrew (@Andrew_gill6) reported

@TPG_Telecom Yes I’ve done everything possible to fix it.
