Rikelle Brown (@rikellebrown) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Telstra I'm absolutely at my wits end. I have contacted Telstra back in December to cancel my home phone as we have moved and STILL I'm being billed for it. No way 2 cancel!! It's disgraceful & a scam! I want this sorted out! I will not sit on another 1.5 hour call to sort it.

Carol Duncan (@carolduncan) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Telstra Years ago but I’ll do it again. Meanwhile, my 83yo father has no mobile phone contact and no landline as his home was destroyed. This is a rather urgent issue.

Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action

Telstra Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Snow Leopard (@SNOWFXINC) reported@SocialTubby @DaveTaylorNews As an aging Pro. Pretty much all of my clients in Longreach, Karratha or the Alice book me via Starlink. When I used to service the married Labor blokes in Marrickville, my Telstra mobile would be forever dropping out. Starlink is on an exponential trajectory.
-
MercurialJester (ジェスタ)🌡| PNGTuber ✊ 🇵🇸🍉🇱🇧✊ (@MercJestr) reportedThe insult is that Telstra is also upping my plan cost by $10 a month so they are simultaneously telling me I'm a risk, but also to go **** myself and pay it anyway.
-
enz (@enz2g) reported@joey8bitz @1WeakGuttedDog Using the network doesn’t mean they get the same priority and boost speeds are also capped otherwise there would be no benefit going with Telstra and paying more. I get what you’re trying to say but your comprehension is terrible.
-
BLUE (@BLUE04699289) reported@KymRob25112 No idea in Qld. But in Sydney Telstra has sadly become the only option. The complete mess up with triple zero calls ( carrier errors) no mistake in that. The tower's aren't coping with this change. Regional with fewer options. That's harsh. Hope 🙏
-
This Dalek's Workday 🇺🇦💉💉💉 (@YUHeff2BSoGreen) reportedai isn't as scary as the blind trust some people have of whatever ai-tainted search result sits at the top of the page. this guy at the telstra shop tried to tell me an 11 digit number starting with 1888 was the boost support number. we don't have phone numbers that long.
-
LWright (@wright_l90101) reported@ajbott @Telstra Population growth has overwhelmed the Telstra towers in lots of areas I am told, congestion causing a lot of the problems. I have been told towers are being upgraded over last 2 weeks but I imagine it is a slow process.
-
Jean-Pierre YIN (@kalsue) reported@llelectronics @thesamuelnam Vodafone Network: Unlike Telstra and Optus, offers a 90-day grace period for international visitors with non-compliant phones. If you use a Vodafone local SIM or purchase a travel eSIM that specifically runs on the Vodafone Australia network, your phone will work normally.
-
John Clements (@kc9on) reported@eevblog You can check out any time you like but you can never leave. Welcome to the cell phone Telstra Mobile.......
-
Peter Dewar (@PeterD84508) reported@TheNoisyTrunk @Caitlen2310 @arbsmichael At a time when the network needed to be upgraded to optic fibre Howard sold off Telstra to the people that already owned it. The cost to build the NBN should also be included in Howard's debts .
-
Jordan Wardle (@JordanWardle5) reported@theinfradev @ruicharadrius I'm not revising history. The plan was fttp everywhere, with Telstra and optus copper being bought out to move them to the NBN. The copper was never going to be used for the NBN. Look at the Telstra definitive agreements from 2011.
