Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action

Telstra Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
techAU (@techAU) reportedCheers, I certainly am interested in this. Definitely not normal to see Tesla software updates (multiple GBs) pushed over the cellular network. Am sure there must be some arrangement between Tesla and Telstra to minimise this, particularly with the volume of cars in the country now.
-
▘▖▘▖▖▘▌▘▖▌▖ 🏳️⚧️ (@EveAffini) reported@bee_fumo got the same notice with my router lmao. but it sucks because for *some* ungodly reason, port 443 is reserved and like, I ******* NEED THAT. so **** dodo. buying myself a ****** telstra smart modem to jailbreak. thanks cex lmao (sorry rant over)

-
Yoru Barman (@heg_emon) reportedStarlink Mobile (formerly Direct-to-Cell) is already live. About 650 satellites currently deliver text, location, and limited data/apps to unmodified LTE phones in dead zones via partners like T-Mobile (T-Satellite), Rogers, Telstra, KDDI and others across dozens of countries. Native high-speed 5G-level service and continuous global coverage (including poles) arrive with V2 satellites starting late 2027, targeting full planet by end of 2028 as per Grok.
-
Bighead1883 @henrykklemens.bsky.social (@Biggy1883again) reportedHello @Telstra , why are we yet again experiencing very slow internet on our mobile phones in Laverton Western Australia? Do a proper upgrade to counter the 500+ FIFO`s in town every day. Also as soon as schools out the speed reduces exponentially.
-
Sutho (Sharks) Dan (@SuthoDan2) reportedThose Telstra ads are SO ... ****** .. ****!!!
-
M.E.G #DavosSafe (@bvst7dxxpk) reportedSo Southern Phone has been taken over by “Energy Telco” Those of us on its Telstra based service told goodbye. Over 30 people in NSW have apparently lost their jobs. Contacted call centre to check my options, gave up because foreign accent at the other end was unintelligigible.
-
afraid_au (@afraid_au) reported@AirsKeaton Nothing yet, I've tried contacting Telstra but because I'm not a Telstra customer they won't even talk to me.
-
Shark (@SharkerOCE) reported@telstra fix ur ******* internet

Audrey (@AudreyTay31079) reported@ellymelly Yes it is. My regional medical centre I have had the same doctor at for 30 years has been sold about a year ago. It’s now run by an offshore call centre in India and is now full of Indian doctors and I use that term loosely. I will never go to an immigrant doctor. Also in my small regional town , the Telstra shop all Indian staff, two of the 3 Pizza shops are Indian run, women walking around in Saris, all delivery drivers Indian. It’s an invasion!
