  @Telstra offered to upgrade my Internet. Apparently 5x the speed. Same cost. Same plan. Sounded like a good deal so I said yes. After about 5 pointless and painful discussions I shut down the process. I’m going to @Starlink with my 5G phones service for back up. They make it easy.

  BREAKING: Telstra is looking to Starlink as a backup solution for emergency communications. • Following its nationwide outage, Telstra says Starlink satellite messaging could help people in areas without mobile coverage. • Users would be able to text a friend or family member via Starlink, who could then call Australia's Triple Zero emergency service on their behalf. • Direct texting to Triple Zero is not yet available.
