  • AnimusSpirits Animus Distillery (@AnimusSpirits) reported from Kyneton, State of Victoria

@Telstra We have tried. @Telstra referred us to our provider, TPG, who in turn have referred us to the NBN. It’s been 5 days as we still have no service.

  • AnimusSpirits Animus Distillery (@AnimusSpirits) reported from Kyneton, State of Victoria

@Telstra Understood. However, as @telstra disconnected our service instead of our vacating neighbours, I would hope they could assist in rectifying the issue and reconnecting us.

Ive been advised that the "NBN" aka #NoBloodyNetwork is being installed. Yet they cant tell me how Im going to contact emergency services during a power cut when I dont have a mobile phone. If I need #ambos or #SAPolice then what? @Telstra @TKoutsantonisMP @fultonhogan

@ajmckenna Reminds me of the Telstra shares incident

  • DrCnfzd Nigel Wehr (@DrCnfzd) reported

@Telstra I have a moden to access my bigpond account, theres no answer to the question of a phone service during a power cut. Whats your response? Are you refusing to admit the truth? Ive been with telstra/telecom since 1983, dont you care about long term, loyal customers?

  • bradrathbone Brad Rathbone (@bradrathbone) reported

I will forever take scam phone calls and pledge to do my best to keep them on the line as long as possible so that they arent calling someone who might get scammed. Ive had two "Telstra" calls in the last two days for home internet "issues". My home internet isn't with Telstra

  • DrCnfzd Nigel Wehr (@DrCnfzd) reported

@Telstra By comparable, you mean more cost for less service right?

  • ianbfarquhar Ian Farquhar (@ianbfarquhar) reported

@KWF @misullivan Because of people who think pinging a core router is a good idea. It happened at Telstra with the CRS-1 roll out, and caused a PR issue because of the rate limiting. While it’s not sensible, people do it, and a tiny amount of extra hardware in the forwarding ASIC would fix it.

  • tgm87 Jenkins (@tgm87) reported

@pantsofpie @dainbrmged If there wasn't a char limit I'd tell you one hell of a Telstra horror story that occurred for me in 2008 around when "NextG" first hit the market. Lets just say that they cant even track their own server's bandwidth and I copped a $19,000+ bill for their mistake. Never resolved.

  • ozleigh Leigh Taryn (@ozleigh) reported

@Telstra Yes it does but it doesn't work either.

  • R_Ebdon Ramon Ebdon (@R_Ebdon) reported

@Oskar1145 @arekushi14 @Telstra Gotta follow someone to DM them. 100k+ people since 2009 asking for support via social media for a company with millions of customers isn't unreasonable.

  • DrCnfzd Nigel Wehr (@DrCnfzd) reported

@Telstra The existing copper network is being retired. If your internet plan is on that network, you’ll need to switch over to an nbn plan. If you choose not to move over to the nbn, your phone and internet services will be disconnected as mandated by the Australian Government and nbn.
