How frigging stupid is this, I actually work from home full time and now can’t due to the poor service by @NBN_Australia and @Telstra So good lucky anyone thinking of working from home due to the virus and using NBN - 8 days so far and no resolution and no ETA on a fix

  • editsmithy Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia There has been a ticket raised for 7 days and still you are not able to supply an ETR, this is unacceptable and very poor service. Ive been left with no alternative but to raise it with the TIO, sadly that will be Telstra’s issue not yours, but I need a date this will be resolved

  • TheOlderGamer52 Robbie Shenton (@TheOlderGamer52) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@VicBStard @NBN_Australia Makes sense. If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue. That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

  • editsmithy Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@nettey1234 @NBN_Australia @Telstra NBN is a joke - they can’t even tell me when the issue will be fixed

  • editsmithy Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@nettey1234 @NBN_Australia @Telstra No just the poor quality of the network - it’s drop outs not a slowdown

  • ardmorelad Paul (@ardmorelad) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

I repeat. Why is @NBN_Australia constantly cutting out in postcode #4152. What is the problem. @Telstra @andy_penn #nbnfail

  • TheOlderGamer52 Robbie Shenton (@TheOlderGamer52) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@SoloVideoGamer I keep hearing of these NBN issues from hundreds of people. Only ever had 1 issue and that's when we 1st got connected. No upload speed. 😂 Now I get a constant 94/37mbps unless of course someone is downloading lol

  • ProfJennyGamble 💧Prof. Jenny Gamble (@ProfJennyGamble) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

NBN. Meant to enhance productivity. Meant to be nation building. Great idea - terrible implementation. Instead we have a second rate system - slow and unreliable #fibretothehome #shameLNP.

  • OldTime58084241 Old Timer (@OldTime58084241) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @CannabisFairy69 @davidbewart @kjon1230 NBN another LNP cluster ****

  • ashkbne Ash ☁️ (@ashkbne) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Had no issues with Telstra cable pre-NBN

  • iamalexsi Alex SI 😷 (@iamalexsi) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

I just switched from @Optus to @TPG_Telecom 1 week ago. I ordered my NBN and the modem has arrived, but no one came to instal it after few days. The bloody customer service is terrible, worst than @Optus!! I had to be in chatRoom in line, ticket number 600 and after 9 hours...

  • JFelstein Jason Felstein (@JFelstein) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

When will Aust get serious about #innovation and enabling the citizen of the future @ScottMorrisonMP help this country compete on the world stage and fix the #nbn. Out of date before it’s complete and no money for a modern communication platform.

  • bdyling Benny Ling (@bdyling) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

The good news is, the apartment I purchased off the plan has FTTP. The bad news is, it’s not NBN FTTP, it’s some “LBN Co” FTTP, whom I have never heard of before.

  • editsmithy Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia We have no alternative as there is no way to contact you directly even though this is your issue, my provider has been given no updates for 7 days.

  • teamallen Mark (@teamallen) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

You’re hopeless @Telstra and you @NBN_Australia. Had cable, no issues. Got nbn unlimited with a speed boost, costs more, slower speed, drops out regularly and buffers watching Netflix.. customer service non existent!

  • ashkbne Ash ☁️ (@ashkbne) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@max_au @simone_au That's the problem hey. The NBN tech installed the NBN modem, got it to pass, and left. The next tech who came out says it's likely the first tech installed an attenuator to get the activation, then removed it (because apparently the techs are too cheap to leave the attenuator)

  • nasser_tony Tony Nasser 🇦🇺 (@nasser_tony) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

A pox on the house of the Australian NBN. This substandard excuse for internet service is pathetic.

  • graham2603 💦Graham (@graham2603) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Is anyone else having trouble with their NBN regularly dropping out or slowing down

  • DannMallet Dann Mallet (@DannMallet) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Optus mobile and nbn slow tonight

  • offshoredc dc (@offshoredc) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@YaThinkN @BreakfastNews Yes and if you continue a curve it becomes a circle and we end up behind ourselves and backwards. The NBN is a palindrome for a reason. It’s as much backwards as it forwards. At times we have the worst broadband service you could imagine

  • evensteveens monty (@evensteveens) reported

@Ballyurra And when you live in the bush and get NBN from a tower, you lose it when the power goes off! So keep your landline if you have bad mobile coverage! The rules say you can, if it comes from a tower! For emergencies!

  • directordoc Doctor Doc Dockington (@directordoc) reported

@harrishfg @SwannyQLD - The current energy crisis (which is partially due to Putin's war) - $1 trillion debt - billions spent on zero subs - the NBN being FTTN instead of FTTH (copper lines = slower) - inaction on climate leading to greater floods/bushfires - supply issues Take your pick...

  • samuelsays11 Sam Walker (@samuelsays11) reported

@michaelsnape I was back in Newcastle when it all was happening - and NBN played a 30th anniversary of the earthquake coverage. Nick Greiner and Bob Hawke were 'holidaying' at the time but flew back that day. 2019 was a bad summer - Morrison should have holidayed, a quick flight from home.

  • sippil lava gina (@sippil) reported

@NickRossTech Is it true that if we had got NBN mark one Foxtel would have been in trouble?

  • Ancray Andy Craig (@Ancray) reported

Vodafone 5g home internet through TPG absolutely shits all over Telstra and NBN. And the ease of signing up, speed of delivery, and easy set up is awesome. 6 weeks trying to get copper cables run from the house to the pit and bugger all customer service. Telstra and NBN a joke

  • Ballyurra Ray (@Ballyurra) reported

Here's a little known fact. When Abbott and Turnbull decided to install an NBN network based on 19th century copper wire technology no one told them it wouldn't work when it rained. Guess what.. It rained.

  • webboy42 🐕 Paul 🦄 (@webboy42) reported

I can’t remember a time before the NBN when my service was offline for more than 12 ******* hours when the power wasn’t out or a storm hadn’t come through. I think the wankers must have been off getting drunk at the pub yesterday afternoon when the issue came up.

  • spence_brad Brad Spence (@spence_brad) reported

@GregFoyster Agreed, but they didn’t , and its a real problem but if we face like the NBN it’s doable and nation building. Big tasks

  • directordoc Doctor Doc Dockington (@directordoc) reported

@Damo__T @SwannyQLD 2 different sides of the coin, the LNP is in it for themselves - they want to be in power but they don't want to do much when they get it. Labor is at least trying to tackle massive issues like the energy transition. Remember the NBN? Labor had a plan, the LNP botched it.

  • Gunsinaustralia Sensible Centrist 🌸 🇦🇺 (@Gunsinaustralia) reported

@jarrodf_ @MarkDuffett @abc730 Building the required solar farms and transmission lines and tens of thousands of volatile big batteries will take longer. Just look at the NBN. It’s still being built. There’s no sense in delaying when the solution is obvious. 2/2
