  @TopherField I cancelled my NBN service after the council changed my address, and updating the NBN details proved too difficult. The address mismatch caused constant disconnections. I’ve since switched to wireless internet. Won't go back to NBN

  @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

  @MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone

  @Nirgal451 @cmkusher Let’s check the record: Labor's NBN was full-fiber before the LNP sabotaged it into slow, costly copper. Inland Rail was botched by LNP scope creep, & NDIS white-anted by poor oversight. For economic reform stock with Labor. Vision didn't fail; execution was gutted by the LNP.

  @ellymelly Never, as a former employee of NBN, I had proposed a non terrestrial backup service but they flatly refused to consider updating their satellite communications, and now we are digitally vulnerable.

  @bazzacc2 Including Malcolm Turnbull who changed the specs of the @NBN_Australia from FTTP to FTTN, thus relying on old copper to transmit from the node to the dwelling It slowed down our broadband speeds significantly to save a few dollars How many billions have we lost in productivity?
