If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue.That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

I stopped reporting the issues, as it’s mainly nbn issues and it’s really frustrating. Paying $70 a month for the service you can hardly use is just outrageous. I have an exposed NBN cable in my yard, intermittent phone, and they say and I’ve reported it through my service provider. Get an email saying service provider hasn’t put in an “incident” and they’ve closed case.

I’m on an NBN100 service so enjoy a good connection right from the start. I’m using an Apple TV device connected to a gigabit wired connection to my router and NBN. Everything is stable and no slow links. 1/2

Desmondbratcat (@desmondbratcat) reported@Riogallica @nbn @Starlink The only problem with starlink is they can put the price up any time they feel, I was with them 2 months and they upped the price. If you want to go elsewhere in under 12 months you have to pay for the hardware, around $500 I think. Having said that, the service is ok.

It cost me $300 up front to connect to the NBN, and it's been heartache since then. Those in my local area have not reported any issues since connecting several years ago.

Session management is so poor. The sites lag even on town based NBN. No company cares anymore tbh they just lock you in.
