I have an exposed NBN cable in my yard, intermittent phone, and they say and I’ve reported it through my service provider. Get an email saying service provider hasn’t put in an “incident” and they’ve closed case.

So far I’ve spent 1 hour 40 mins chatting to Vodafone staff (it’s impossible to call them during the pandemic). It was all agreed today. Tonight I get a bill indicating the service is not cancelled. WTF!!

Currently dealing with a $300 bill for installing an NBN fibre box inside which increases internet speed 10 fold, and the landlord is making us relocate it for the amazing low price of $770 (wants it moved 2 metres down the wall it’s on). Ugh

Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported@pigways @Batman2242 NBN satellites have been in service since 2013 that provided a significantly improved service for remote and regional areas. Starlink only arrived in the last few years. Perhaps Amazon was able to meet the design and contract requirements set by #nbn and starlink couldn't.

Aside from some parts of inner Perth/Melb/Syd/Bris, all of the rail network is on the surface and will be able to uplink, I would have thought.
