-
Paul (@ardmorelad) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandI repeat. Why is @NBN_Australia constantly cutting out in postcode #4152. What is the problem. @Telstra @andy_penn #nbnfail
-
Daniel Rose (@dgr_dgr) reported from Brisbane, Queensland1 hour 45 minutes in the queue (so far) to get through to @VodafoneAU NBN support. *sigh*
-
James Smart (@PoE_fanatic) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia I am still a little meh but I can work again now that I have a negative 'rona test. I have been in contact with Belong but as it's an intermittent issue, they're having trouble diagnosing the problem.
-
Tokyo (@adibvun) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia damn man, thought u were suppose to be stable and fast. Cost more but poor connection 😕
-
Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@nettey1234 @NBN_Australia @Telstra No just the poor quality of the network - it’s drop outs not a slowdown
-
Steve Putt (@EthicalAdviser) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandAfter telling the optus chat line that my house had burned down and that I had tried repeatedly to get the nbn cancelled (which I am still paying for), she asked me, and I kid you not, if I had tried turning it off and turning it back on again. I…I don’t know how to answer.
-
Scotty McDonald (@Scotty_McDonald) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandHey @Aussie_BB, any update on an outage in 4151? Nothing reported on your site or @NBN_Australia
-
Rubens Camejo (@PagewoodCoach) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@BreakfastNews Talking NBN: Pine Creek, NT. Half way Darwin - Katherine August 2021 needed to apply for a Qld entry pass. Not even the local library could open Qld Govt website. If Cessnock is bad, Outback communities are medieval. Cessnock? Election priority? Hunter seat?
-
Robert Davis CSM (@RBD926) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@RositaDaz48 What legacy would you chose of YOUR heroes? 1. Chasing non existent WMD. 2. Eating a raw onion 3. An expensive and slow NBN 4. Corrupt liar
-
David Kapernick (@birdnoises) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia any news on outage in Brisbane at New Farm ? No internet since yday afternoon.
-
ema (@25MMCC) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@MadFckingWitch We’re the country who believe the GFC never happened, that the ALP stimulus package was worthy of an austerity plan for the last decade and that the ALP NBN was a huge waste of money! Yep- saving lives and eliminating the CV is definitely a leftist ananda.
-
John Flood (@JohnAFlood) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandA friend of mine who teaches at Griffith has been told her NBN is down for 2 days. Teaching and research up the spout. Of all the idiotic decisions @TurnbullMalcom took, screwing up the deployment of Australia’s internet was one of the biggest. Truly awful
-
Robbie Shenton (@TheOlderGamer52) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@SoloVideoGamer I keep hearing of these NBN issues from hundreds of people. Only ever had 1 issue and that's when we 1st got connected. No upload speed. 😂 Now I get a constant 94/37mbps unless of course someone is downloading lol
-
Laszlo Heiter (@laciheiter) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Optus Thanks. I have had several conversations and chats with customer service. I stopped reporting the issues, as it’s mainly nbn issues and it’s really frustrating. Paying $70 a month for the service you can hardly use is just outrageous. Text messages coming through advising outages
-
Clifford Stewart (@Protenpinner) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandCool, yet again got to be psychic to play #FIFA23 on FUT Champs because the servers are **** & NBN is piss poor.
-
Benny Ling (@bdyling) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandThe good news is, the apartment I purchased off the plan has FTTP. The bad news is, it’s not NBN FTTP, it’s some “LBN Co” FTTP, whom I have never heard of before.
-
Damien Buckley (@damienpbuckley) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@JimRHoughton *******. It’s like the 70’s all over again. The only reason they’re putting nuclear forward as an option is because it will buy the coal industry another 10-15 years while they build a reactor. Then they’ll have to go renewables anyway. It’s the friggin NBN redux
-
The Nebula of Cats (@thenebulaofcats) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandUnfortunately due to @DodoAustralia's service today's stream was Broken and had to be cut short. Gotta love being promised Internet speeds you're not receiving~ #australia #nbn #dodoaustralia
-
Rahul (@wildnez) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Telstra your customer service team is highly incapable, get rid of them. My new NBN order has been revised 4 times already without my input. And now the technician’s visit date has been changed without any notice. Are you guys interested in signing up new customers at all?
NBN Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Salvator Mundi (@thelostleonardo) reported@EnergyWrapAU NBN generates revenue and pays down its costs over time. How can you compare that to NDIS which is a huge ongoing cesspool of fraud and waste.
-
MR Reilly (@mrr78504) reported@econoadabsurdam @LeeRespecter The NBN might plausibly have increased productivity if it had retained its original scope (A FTTN fibre backbone network independent of Telstra that would allow telecommunication companies to compete on an equal footing). Instead it got rolled out first in Tasmania.
-
Econo ad absurdam (@econoadabsurdam) reportedWhen the ALP talks up something like the NDIS or the NBN and says that it will help increase productivity, what do you think they mean
-
Max (@diss_presso) reported@BrowntownBrew @robb_j_m Most of our national capital Canberra is on <100mbps whilst literal 3rd world **** hole islands, without NBN or paved roads, get triple that. Anyone who actually believes in the NBN is as brainwashed as a Putin supporter. Starlink has made the NBN largely redundant for non gaming purposes, and the 5G network is already 3 times faster and both cost taxpayers exactly $0.00. Rudd should go down in history as the king of morons.
-
GR (@larrikinstreak) reported@robb_j_m NBN is free, the ISP is where the charges are and believe it or not it's customer support is why it costs much. The infrastructure costs are not the big cost.
-
Dave Jones (@eevblog) reportedNBN Update: "Cable works are progressing. The fibre cable was installed between the two manholes early this morning and the site has been made safe. Due to traffic control requirements, work has temporarily paused and will recommence under day Road Occupancy Licences between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Cable preparation works began earlier at 3:30am, with splicing scheduled to commence this afternoon. Customer restoration is expected to be completed later today. NBN will continue to monitor progress and provide further updates as they become available."
-
StainlessSteelMan (@Rowen72600346) reported@mark16pg It was supposed to be a cheaper alternative to batteries, turns out batteries came down in price, nbn was supposed to do the same with internet and starlink rendered it useless as well.
-
rompa82 (@rompastompa82) reported@colonelhogans Where were you when Murdoch donates to the major parties to buy things that help him.. look at the nbn fiasco ended up costing Australians billions but they did as he wished..
-
anthony, underclass prole cat, edwards (@anthony45052793) reported@un1v3rs3135 @robb_j_m i'm on slightly more expensive starlink plan, rural village, get 240 mbps down and much faster uploads than fixed wireless nbn for just $9 a month more than i paid for the unstable NBN. has dropped out once for 7 mins in very heavy rain over the last 5 months.
-
Green Tree (@TreeGreen2933) reported@robb_j_m I got nothing, NBN has killed all the independent providers that serves my community. I now get about 10mbps max through the mobile network if lucky.
