Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandHow frigging stupid is this, I actually work from home full time and now can’t due to the poor service by @NBN_Australia and @Telstra So good lucky anyone thinking of working from home due to the virus and using NBN - 8 days so far and no resolution and no ETA on a fix
-
Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@nettey1234 @NBN_Australia @Telstra NBN is a joke - they can’t even tell me when the issue will be fixed
-
D (@etredoo) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@optus HUGE MASSIVE THANK YOU for being the provider that got our NBN installed in less than a week!! No text messages back and forth for 6 weeks just damn amazing service! @Telstra 6 weeks of bullshit text messages vs 1 week and NBN installed #yesoptus
-
The Nebula of Cats (@thenebulaofcats) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandLooks like no stream tonight because @DodoAustralia can't provide a working internet service despite multiple insurances from their customer service saying my service is "Fine" #nbn #SmallStreamersConnect
-
Jon Cartwright (@badgergloveppt) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@SanatanaMishra I never wanted a landline, but for years I had to have one to get ADSL. There were no naked ADSL options in our suburb. Ditched it the moment I got NBN. Only my mother in law and robocalls ever used it tbh.
-
Laszlo Heiter (@laciheiter) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Optus Thanks. I have had several conversations and chats with customer service. I stopped reporting the issues, as it’s mainly nbn issues and it’s really frustrating. Paying $70 a month for the service you can hardly use is just outrageous. Text messages coming through advising outages

💧Nigel Bell (@NigelBell19) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@ClaireLouse2403 @cheryl_kernot @bugwannostra yep. in the same way that: - the start of the initial NSW 'lockdown' was pushed back to allow Hillsong event attendees to leave the state & country; - the NBN FTTH backflip aligns nicely with Foxtel now offering a BINGE service that, to be successful, requires more bandwidth. 😐
-
Damien Buckley (@damienpbuckley) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@jdaalder No for weeks on and off. Twitter especially but certain websites. Tv streaming is fine which suggests this may be an NBN traffic priority issue
-
kit (@heykitarei) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@lindsywood7 @JessxSeven @JessxSeven are you not on NBN? You should be on at least 20 up if you're on a 50 or 100 down plan.
-
dc (@offshoredc) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@YaThinkN @BreakfastNews Yes and if you continue a curve it becomes a circle and we end up behind ourselves and backwards. The NBN is a palindrome for a reason. It’s as much backwards as it forwards. At times we have the worst broadband service you could imagine
-
John Heidemann (@John_Heidemann) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@steeviepee @ParamountPlusAU Reality is there are a number of factors that may affect performance. I’m on an NBN100 service so enjoy a good connection right from the start. I’m using an Apple TV device connected to a gigabit wired connection to my router and NBN. Everything is stable and no slow links. 1/2
-
Benny Ling (@bdyling) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandThe good news is, the apartment I purchased off the plan has FTTP. The bad news is, it’s not NBN FTTP, it’s some “LBN Co” FTTP, whom I have never heard of before.
-
Melanie (@littleredwrites) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Telstra @NBN_Australia outage in 4304 QLD.
-
Tony Nasser 🇦🇺 (@nasser_tony) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandA pox on the house of the Australian NBN. This substandard excuse for internet service is pathetic.

You think they took up charging usb cables etc for phones that don’t work ? All that weight for phones that don’t work when they could have dedicated cameras
-

WTF-UCantBSerious (@Whoyacallin) reported@SkyNewsAust Can someone in your office ask Bolt to stop being soooooooooooo GLIB when he has a guest or is questioning and if he could piss that imbecile Steven Conroy He's a failed Minister with the NBN if I remember and is still an idiot!
-
LC ✝️ (@leeves_chou) reportedProof of occupancy – this document request is another interesting thing. To ensure the application is from a real resident at the property, NBN sometimes needs proof, like a lease contract or water bills that match the applicant's name and address. However, this process can really delay provisioning. ISPs can check if the LOC ID is empty and see that no service is connected; they could just sign the customer up. If there is an existing service and the name on file doesn’t match, send a message to the new customer that provisioning is stuck for xxx reason. If the name on file matches, they can just hook them up. The process could be so much easier!
