But because I’m with @Aussie_BB I could easily diagnose connection states, NTD statuses, and perform a port reset on both 1600km away to get them working again without getting out of bed.

I’m on an NBN100 service so enjoy a good connection right from the start. I’m using an Apple TV device connected to a gigabit wired connection to my router and NBN. But certainly during the operational life of #nbn I can't see #fibretopremises being beaten by anything else. We're currently on HFC (High Frequency Coaxial) & destined for HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) but delaying as long as possible because of reliability.

He (from Indian, a nice chap) put me through hoops & then said that the NBN box is faulty but can't get a tech out till next Tue. Then a light bulb moment hit me & said, what if I look at the metre box - sure enough, something had tripped the circuit in the room the NBN is hooked up to. I just didn't need the added stress. Then he had the hide to ask me to 'rate his service'. Yeah - nah!
