Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Kelvin Grove and nearby locations:
-
💧Nigel Bell (@NigelBell19) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@ClaireLouse2403 @cheryl_kernot @bugwannostra yep. in the same way that: - the start of the initial NSW 'lockdown' was pushed back to allow Hillsong event attendees to leave the state & country; - the NBN FTTH backflip aligns nicely with Foxtel now offering a BINGE service that, to be successful, requires more bandwidth. 😐
-
Graham Smith (@GrahamSmith111) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandI am no fan of the NBN but the further investment of $3.5 billion defies logic. 5G is coming with very quick download speeds and cable infrastructure. It’s pouring good money after bad. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
-
Shaun Dorney (@shaun_dorney) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@iallikat @Patrick51112869 @MorpheusBeing Their crap NBN is already halfway there 😂😂
-
Mr. Mouse (@mr_mouse) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Optus is the a known issue with Fetch streaming? I’m on Optus NBN and have no issues with any other internet/streaming services. Streamed channels not reliable, on demand (e.g. BBC catch-up) not working at all. Done soft reset, still broken.
-
D (@etredoo) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Telstra have been trying to speak to a human for over a month to get NBN installed and wow 1000 messages “like texting a friend” what a joke! 1 month of circles! This is the worst customer service experience EVER!! #whereismynbn
-
Tokyo (@adibvun) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia damn man, thought u were suppose to be stable and fast. Cost more but poor connection 😕

-
John Flood (@JohnAFlood) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandA friend of mine who teaches at Griffith has been told her NBN is down for 2 days. Teaching and research up the spout. Of all the idiotic decisions @TurnbullMalcom took, screwing up the deployment of Australia’s internet was one of the biggest. Truly awful
-
Brent 🤜🏻🤛🏾 Davidson (@Brentus88) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandAaaand the cycle starts again. @telstra visited, confirmed it was an @NBN_Australia issue & took detailed notes & photos of speed tests which rule out modem issue. Said I’d need an NBN tech visit. So instead today, naturally, I get a text from Telstra saying all is fixed.
-
Chiloe Cerrafon (@chiesburger) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia hi team, any updates on when the outage at Indooroopilly QLD 4068 will be resolved??
-
Craig Acret (@jerrybr15619298) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia Think it’s more a Telstra issue as it’s been 15 days with the nbn devices on hold in their warehouse. Thanks for your reply though.

🌈 🎀 𝕜𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕚 (@heykitarei) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandMy NBN is down and Vodafone won't pick up 😭. It's ******* Friday, this is not how I wanted to start my weekend.
-
CBRZY (@Cpt_CBRZY) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@NBN_Australia has been non existent today. Internet drops every 15 minutes or so and sometimes stays down for 10 minutes. Infuriating to say the least
-
Craig Acret (@jerrybr15619298) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@Telstra terrible customer service. Waiting on NBN...people in my street are now connected with other providers..messages 6 hours via app and no reply...

-
We’re NOT “all in this together” (@ValleyBrian) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@VodafoneAU I just wanted to cancel my Vodafone NBN service 😰😰. So far I’ve spent 1 hour 40 mins chatting to Vodafone staff (it’s impossible to call them during the pandemic). It was all agreed today. Tonight I get a bill indicating the service is not cancelled. WTF!!
-
Damien Buckley (@damienpbuckley) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@JimRHoughton *******. It’s like the 70’s all over again. The only reason they’re putting nuclear forward as an option is because it will buy the coal industry another 10-15 years while they build a reactor. Then they’ll have to go renewables anyway. It’s the friggin NBN redux

CotorraManglera (@XimeCoronado) reported@BelongAU day 8th without internet. The disappointing story continues I still have no solution. Don’t know if my money will be refunded. Now they say the nbn box we had in the house is not the right one, but before you said everything was ready for us in our new home?
-
Kubilay 🤤 Kocak (@koobs) reported@NBN_Australia Hi there Nat. Talk to your manager and hire me to run through your incident, problem, comms and customer experience management.
-
Gosso (@GossoGG) reported@koobs @Kevin48134226 @Aussie_BB When the fault was logged last night, it’s done through NBN! So then it’s up to them when they fix it, not Aussie! There are no urgency options when the service is down!
-
Mr.RIO (tm) 💉💉💉😷 (@its_misterio) reported@maybe_caroline @NBN_Australia Because its a s#1t network and they need to convince its not.
-
Dr.Percp★pper (@ballsnthezdraws) reported**** it imma just have to write my own show and call it nbn. nothin but ******.
-
Gia | Aussie GF (@Giajamesxox) reported@AmandaValentina Oh my god this just sounds like a nightmare hell. I’m sure you’ve already got an ISP but I’ve found Internode to be absolutely amazing. They have got incredible customer service, and have really helped me with getting my NBN sorted.
-
Josh Steel (@joshontweet) reported@Telstra Several times Jax. Formal complaint is unresolved as the issue is with NBN congestion.
-
timothy ogle (@timothyogle6) reported@itsflanno @Aussie_BB The problem isn’t with the NBN but the Telstra POI. Aussie isn’t the only carrier that’s been affected.
-
Tally-Ho Tech (@WguYouTube) reported@JarrodsTech What pisses me off is the 50 upload. WTF. In 2022 it should be 100/100 normal internet and 1000/1000 for premium. What was the point of the billions spent on the NBN otherwise
-
Jye (@dabomber60) reported@PearlescentMoon Oh you poor thing, that's such a rubbish experience, private fibre was such a promising plan, but all the providers are just money grubs, FTTN NBN is better in plenty of cases. Which providers are you able to look at? Some will have better back pipes than others.
