    @the_vocal_one @ianclarkeAU @CovfefeDnUnder Of course it applies. I never said it didn't. How much detail would you like in a single X post? The OP is claiming the NBN is obsolete. It is nothing of the sort, and the bandwidth disparity is the entire reason why, and that isn't changing anytime soon, as you say.

    Getting there. First time EVER since the NBN was put in by Raj and his mate...i now have a green transfer light as opposed to orange. Of course no one gave a **** there was a problem on the day. I do have some patch cables without a cat rating, so there is that. Baby steps.

    @VoteLewko @Starlink I have a fixed and a mobile Starlink and neither have let me down, the NBN & our mobile phone network on the other hand is the opposite.

    @timritchie It was failed PM John Howard that sold off Telstra to the tax payers that already owned it. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....

    ATTENTION DUE TO AN UNFORESEEN NBN SEE SERVICE OUTTA STREAM TONIGHT IS CANCELLED i am so sorry for those looking forward to the kotor 2 stream and i will be looking into alternative internet providers such as Starlink that are apparently far better for my area then the old
