    @Jenbox360 Nah that's not torture... I've finally convinced my ISP & NBN here there's an issue with my fibre connection with 40+ dropouts a day. It's taken them a month & 4 callouts to finally accept it's not my hardware or within my property. I was losing my mind.

    @NBN_Australia sure enough this problem still isn’t resolved. Outage page has been showing us as facing network degradation all week. Regular dropouts and slow connectivity. Will you ever fix this???

    @PieNorthern I haven't had a problem in ages... since we upgraded to NBN high speed. Hate to say it but it might be a tech problem. Although I do get it!

    I really am angry the LNP rooted the NBN. Now I have to seriously consider Musk’s Starlink for my Internet especially since both Telstra & Optus have & are having issues.

    @RizviAbul Do people in remote cattle stations get assistance? Did anyone see the tv show Keeping Up with the Jones’s. The big remote stations are big businesses. But yes we support them with flying doctor,, school of the air, satellite NBN. 1/2

    @the_vocal_one @CovfefeDnUnder You’re missing the point. Wired networks pre NBN worked just fine, and still do. Every new NBN suburban / bush connection loses money. Every new Starlink customer is profitable, so it can strip away customers and NBN will slowly die. PS : I’ve been on 5G for years : 4x speed

    @VoteLewko @Starlink Speed is latency. No satellite connection is "high speed" sick of the disinformation. Starlink is 20ms-40ms+ latency like mobile garbage is. NBN is a whopping 600ms latency. They need to keep this junk away from fibre areas where I get 2ms latency and have had since 2022.

    😒 had FTTP NBN connected 2 weeks, incredibly slow speeds, pages don't load & sound intermittent, NBN website says, any/all issues regarding performance MUST go to ISP, they are charging me for 500 Mb/sec.....I'm receiving 80 Mb/sec download speed currently @NBN_Australia 😞

    @Martywa467 @VoteLewko @Starlink NBN faults are dealt with via the telcos. After four cancelled appointments by NBN after Telstra said it was an NBN issue ( it was), I bought a Telstra 5G router and threw out the NBN box. I would prefer Starlink but it has a congestion charge in our area of $700.

    @ShaneOliverAMP A big part of the problem is that starting from the 2010's more of our spending now goes to megatech platforms that extract Australian revenue without the old local multiplier. When $100 went to Ford or Holden, a retailer or a local media company, a large portion recycled through local wages, suppliers, property, logistics and tax. Now when $100 goes to a global ad platform, streaming service or cloud provider much more can disappear offshore through IP, reseller fees and related party charges with far less local employment or supplier spend despite the use of infrastructure like NBN and roads. So government keeps importing demand and taxing workers harder to fund services while more private spending leaks offshore to low local footprint platforms. That extraction is not productive for our economy and is increasingly an issue, especially when profits are being offshored and Australian taxpayers are unfairly carrying the burden.
