Both said “5G Fixed Wireless not available at your address.” He checked a cell tower map anyway. Half a dozen towers within a couple km. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....

Trying to get telecom to fix anything used to be a pain in the butt. Look at NBN, over priced garbage. There's nothing wrong with a user pays system. Why should people in Horsham pay for a road they don't use in Melbourne?

Rudd screwed that up with massive mission creep and created the NBN.
