Has anyone had issues with @Optus NBN not helping set up a new modem when you upgrade but don't buy the modem from them?? Tech Support is absolutely attrocious.

  • qzervaas Quentin Zervaas (@qzervaas) reported

@GordyPls @decryption @NBN_Australia I guess the problem is that people understand download speed. The crack marketers need a latency campaign. Also, iiNet makes a shitload more on 5G than NBN.

@JaneCaro Well yes, Jane. Only in my household (and you know the score here) Sat-Nav did solve my problems as I'm the driver, and when NBN, printer, chrome-casting, etc don't work, it's me (who's a techphobe) who fixes it, otherwise it's a case of "I'll look at it when I've got a minute"

@NBN_Australia your internet is so **** ****, brain dead *******.

  • kevthelip kev (@kevthelip) reported

@nobby15 Sounds of the nbn disaster and how much did that cost the country? LNP are unable to put much thought together with big nation investment. You would have thought that the inability to hold fuel security level would have brought this energy security problem to the fore?

Do I know anyone who can help escalate something within NBNco? Having some pretty frustrating home internet issues and my ISP and the NBN technical department keep bouncing it back to each other

  • parrotsdream Stewart 🇦🇺 (@parrotsdream) reported

@iiNet what's with the crap nbn and dsl internet dropping in and out in Jimboomba lately maybe I need to be sending you invoices for a service your not fully supplying ya take our money so fix it

  • willie1foot Stewart (@willie1foot) reported

@johnsy123aus @NBN_Australia Then you need to contact Optus; it may not be an NBN issue. Your agreement is with your ISP and they should sort out the issue for you.

  • shaneoneill Further easing of restrictions (@shaneoneill) reported

@GordyPls @NBN_Australia @Aussie_BB $10 extra per month. average 250down 25 up. 1TB quota. If i go over the quota i get shaped to 25down 20up. I may consider going back to a fixed line service if nbn every get their **** together. Which I doubt they will.

@krisgracehely @Hels_Be11s Kris our mobile is awful here as well so our mobile is now through Aussie BB who use Optus. The benefit is they offer Wi-Fi calling. Now anywhere in the house is as good as our NBN which is not brilliant but much much better than mobile.
