    @Telstra Hi Lisa, I came home to no internet connection. I checked both the NBN modem & Telstra smart modem and it looks like the NBN modem got fried due to lightning damage from the brief storm we had that rolled through Melbourne earlier.

    @NBN_Australia it would be so great if you stupid phone options included talking to a person!! I’ve been told by my provider to call you guys but what’s the use, it’s run by machines! Useless

    So had an electrical storm pass over earlier. And guess whose NBN box ******* died. And now has no internet till Monday. Funny thing is, nothing else lost power at all, the NBN box was the only thing that ******* died. ******* I guess.

    @graham2603 @Maws_Mate Yes the NBN will be sold next, maybe even by Labor, not sure what is your point, Govs should not run businesses, it’s bad enough they think tokens should be in our parliaments now that have no leadership experience and are thrust into the huge role of running an entire portfolio

    @MFWitches @ElaineM11584892 @DanielAndrewsMP Elderly care would be a start, but others would be a nationalised insurance, banks, rail, shipping, cannery, Legal aid, public transport, Qantas, NBN, Antarctic supply vessel,public housing. A long list but anything that's an essential public service should be run by the state
