@Telstra I’ve been waiting SIX months for my NBN to be connected.....still no solution despite close to 50 calls and FOUR appointments where your engineers failed to show... what do I have to do as an existing customer? Mind you... I am getting billed!

  • NoelBt Noel (@NoelBt) reported

@iTnews_au I agree with Telstra on this, that said, this also needs saying - @Telstra, what goes around comes around, this is EXACTLY how you treated ISP's with access to your dslams and network for decades... K A R M A .. remember 99% of NBN are ex-Telstra just using the Telstra playbook

  • Nelsonvvvv Nelson (@Nelsonvvvv) reported

I understand some large contracts are being awarded by NBN Co to fix up some of the non performing FTTN areas. (Malcolm Turnbulls cheaper quicker alternative). The contracts are to revert back to FTTP. Nothing like doing a job twice.

@FraudbandAU @NBN_Australia If floods have taken out power to the NBN network; FttP still won't work, as Nodes use copper circuitry & need to be powered by electricity. It's different if It's only a blackout to premises, as NBN Battery Backup can be used to power NTD to send/receive signals from NBN etc.

@aleisha_71 That’s ecxactly how I am at the moment - sitting wide awake at 1am, forced myself to go to bed at 2pam, didn’t sleep until god knows when and had to wake at 7 for this fkn NBN tech We’re both in trouble when things go back to ‘normal’ haha

  • Tweetn2You Blue»Tweety«Bird (@Tweetn2You) reported

@stephengentle @FraudbandAU @NBN_Australia Btw, battery backups at exchanges are generally reserved to keep 4G/5G cellular towers connected to fibre optic backhauls in case of an emergency.

@starppael @Redcar51 @TurnbullMalcolm I can't help it either, despite the NBN and failure on climate.

  • DustyCynic DustyCynic (@DustyCynic) reported

@TelstraEnt Been waiting SIX MONTHS for my NBN to be connected.... although I have had THREE modems delivered and THREE appointments where engineers failed to show?? I’m an existing customer , why would anyone take the risk of becoming a new customer?

  • jbernie James Bernie (@jbernie) reported

@AdamFowler_IT Some people would say their NBN is so slow they wouldn’t notice the difference…

  • blythy1989 Adam Blyth (@blythy1989) reported

@Telstra I've already been through about 6 hours of troubleshooting. Half the suburbs nbn is down if the Facebook group is anything to go by.
