Julien Goodwin (@LapTop006) reported from Sydney, New South Wales*sigh* Yay first tier ISP support, more interested that they don't know my date of birth (for obvious BS "security" reasons. Supposedly escalated to NBN, which doesn't actually seem like the correct next step, but oh well.
-
Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@geoffrey_payne @vision_iii Margins of the providers have been eaten up by wholesale costs. It’s worse now than it was when Telstra owned the fixed line network. Telcos avoiding the NBN makes the NBN business worse and more of a loss for taxpayers
-
LachlanB_ 🌏✈️🏈🏏 (@LachlanB_) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Lachlan_Mc That's my issue. Signed up to NBN contract when it (finally) arrived in my area, but now 5G is available it's actually way faster than my broadband. 🙄 Not sure how or who offers a big enough data package to allow streaming on the 5G mobile network. 🤷
-
OnlyPhazz (@phazzles) reported from Sydney, New South WalesWhy is there always daily emergency maintenance on my NBN? @NBN_Australia @Aussie_BB
-
Christian two jab 💉💉 (@cbiggins) reported from Sydney, New South WalesApparently @Optus has "deleted" (their words) my NBN connection. I have to wait 48hrs for their stuff up. Considering I've started moving my 5 phone services to @Telstra I think my NBN will be next. Been with Optus for sooo many years but lately wow it's been bad.

melinda salterod (@mysticmel3) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@MrKRudd @AnnastaciaMP You are such an armchair critic, you failed in so many ways you are not in a position to criticise others, pink batts, nbn, the boats ffs, explain your actions on these issues and I swear I will never criticise you again

🖤💛❤️ Sharon Lee Longmore (@sharon_longmore) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@alvinfoo It’s still much the same in Australia with the ridiculous fibre to the node nbn instead of to the home. Our hopelessly slow speeds & that’s if you even have access to the nbn. That’s what our idiot cheapskate LNP govt have given Australia amongst a litany of costly failures.
-
Anthony Clark (@AnthonyClarkAU) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@gavinadams Problem is nbn. The whole suburb is out, no matter which provider you’re with. Daily occurrence unfortunately.
-
roman tarnavski (@romant) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@ClaudeMandy @TimLonghurst @NBN_Australia we don’t need to go far to see a sensible separation of infrastructure and service provision - just across the ditch in NZ they’ve managed to preserve competition whilst investing in their country’s future
-

-
Sagittarius A* (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@ScottRhodie It’s so stupid that developers are even allowed to do this. They should be required to install the fibre and provide the hand off to NBN. Same for embedded energy networks too.
-
Tony Thefathippy (@TonyThefathippy) reported from Sydney, New South WalesHey, @NBN_Australia, your customer service is appalling. Perhaps you should contact customers *before* cancelling home visits. Don't leave it to the ISP. Rather than telling the ISP there's nothing wrong with a service that has never run properly and that we start again.../cont

John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, New South WalesHi @Telstra. My internet has been down for 3 weeks. The @NBN tech was a no show for the first appointment. Just had an SMS scheduling another appt for tomorrow. The @Telstra faults operater in Australia just hung up on me. If I ran my med practice that way, I would be in jail.

-
Harold ☢️🔥🏭⚛️ (@Harold36089778) reported@MarkoMatvikov Even worse: Labor writes new laws to force super to invest in “building back Aus” like Melb-Syd high speed rail or upgrading NBN. When competition policy allowing global carriers to compete on the Melb-Sydney flight would drive costs down & Starlink is outcompeting NBN today.
-
Mickamious (@MickamiousG) reportedWas there an issue with the 4G/5G network in Melbourne, Victoria today?? It seems as I got out of the CBD the network improved but within the metropolitan areas there was issues?? @Starlink at home seems to be operating fine - anyone have NBN issues?
-
Ben Davison (@Ben_Davison1) reported“Founders” thinking they “built the business without any help from government” are generally delusional narcissists Government provides -Educated & trained employees -The rule of law -Roads, rails, NBN, electricity, gas & water for your workers, products & services -Civil society
-
John the Baptist (@JohntheBapt1ser) reported@ruicharadrius This is the most retarded tweet I’ve ever seen. A) falsely thinks WiFi is “the internet” B) doesn’t realise Aussie mobile coverage is some of the best in the world C) NBN is good now. My guess is your WiFi router is crap or too small for your house
-
Spider Mother Gwen (@GwenMotherS) reportedlines we are tunning in the nbn these days AUSTRALIA SUCKS FOR INTERNET this has taken a big toll on my mental as i am now stressed out about debut having issues and ruining my hard work that i am trying to put into it sorry late message

James Boman ⩟ (@JBoman32768) reported@techAU @BassonBrain @Starlink Its a real testament to how slow and overpriced limited in availability the NBN is.
-
Alan@7th両日 (@BasakaAU) reportedSeems like NBN is back up after it went down yesterday morning, phew
-
Bernard (@bernardsjansen) reported@TopherField I've been a happy Starlink customer for years, because the NBN was unable to get reliable internet to my house. Each month Elon gets my money, and I get reliable high speed internet. Each month, we are both better off.
-
Anna (@spannaforce) reported@ApiaFcViareggio Nbn was down. Seems OK now
-
𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒕𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒘𝒔 🇦🇺 (@DanielSMatthews) reported@eevblog I have both, NBN service stability is far less than Starlink's, so it is my backup. I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.
