Considering I've started moving my 5 phone services to @Telstra I think my NBN will be next. Been with Optus for sooo many years but lately wow it's been bad.

Just had an SMS scheduling another appt for tomorrow. The @Telstra faults operater in Australia just hung up on me. If I ran my med practice that way, I would be in jail.

Long story short, I rejected his ludicrous proposal to destroy my concrete slab driveway so they could run the shortest cheapest route of cables.

I am calling bullshit on this. Like car manufacturing, nuclear energy, making green energy products: making anything actually. Or will it just become another government funded boondoggle like NBN. Billions obsoleted by Starlink. Yes lets build massive government funded data centres. I am sure Elon has no counter to that. Nothing stupid like datacenters in orbit.
