    @NBN_Australia @telstra Received my bill for the first Two Months service Plus a call-out fee I’m sure I signed for all of that somewhere However I am currently applying for the first month free given the (ongoing) issues we’ve had 🤞 (PS- I got an automated response to my DM)

    @MikeCarlton01 @Telstra Took Telstra 3 months and a complaint to the ombudsman for a human to come to Newport last week, open a pit and tell us the problem was nbn workers had cut the copper wire to our house.

    Had @NBN_Australia installed today. Thank god ADSL2 is now a distant memory. Horrible when you have streaming services and you can’t watch them because of horrific buffering. So far so good. The picture is ace and the Service from @tpg has been brilliant. ✊

    @ShiannonC I sort of agree with you! However, Govt and its monopolized and duoplolized sector have created a lot of unproductive and redundant, laidback jobs,like Telstra,NBN many banks, many without competitive service and poor innovation. Banks just punts on real estate.

    @Telstra There is no outage . Just trying to move to NBN with no porting help . No one to speak too . No one at all . 5 weeks now , my mum is 80 and is in 😭 tears .

    @Telstra Thanks Ollie, It’s a brand new (Tue 25/08) NBN connection. I have raised incidents every time except the last two. At the moment it isn’t causing problems I won’t be at work for a week it won’t be monitored as quickly. But please note 0:35, 06:35, & 13:35 daily* when we are home

    6.05 AM and I have already submitted a complaint to the Telco Ombudsman to try and get @NBN_Australia to connect us after 6 months of failure. @iiNet @Telstra have failed! Ironic my PhD was on optical fibres!

    @AlanMitchellAFR They were doing it anyway. They were upgrading FTTN areas to FTTC because the nodes never delivered. But desperate for an announcement, they are now doing the NBN upgrade due to ‘Covid’, not under performing technologies. #auspol

    @cupateakate @FinancialReview It's not the cost that was the main problem, it was the time. The scope needed to be reduced to speed up the rollout. If the "proper" NBN was provided from the start there's no way it would be almost finished now.

    @Technorants @JBell100099 @MRowlandMP Yes, the NBN. We have enterprise DSL service and looking to upgrade to enterprise NBN on fibre which was laid in front of the shop. They advised that the a separate Ethernet service would have to be installed as we cant piggyback off the fibre out front.

    @MicheleScheffl1 @davidbewart Malcolm was caught between the Luddite hard right and a boulder. Remember, the NBN 'plan' is from Rabbott's time and @TurnbullMalcolm was just the 'messenger'. It is a crap plan, and deep down I reckon he knew it, but Murdoch and the LNP Luddites were just too big a hurdle.

    Sooo an update for my NBN problem...a technician came in today and just unplugged our Back to Base Security System and VOILA! We have solid internet! My family is less secure...but we got internet!! Pog
