    @NLC081 @Optus @NBN_Australia 9th of June it started Lots of Development in the street Someone must have cut something. We were down for a week NBN came out finally and got it back but ever since my next door neighbour get my phone calls on his bill Took us about 6 weeks to even get someone to believe us

    @smh @zoesam93 Iโ€™m with OPTUS. My mobile phone drops out to regularly and the NBN is so slow at times I have to tether the phone to my computer. Get to work on these mayters Gladys. You are now actually working for Singapore.

    9 weeks. @Optus @NBN_Australia still havenโ€™t sorted out the problem. To try as a solution they terminated out accounts - me and next door - so weโ€™ve been down all day. Oh ....NBN canโ€™t come until tomorrow. The incompetence is stunning

    @ScottRhodie Itโ€™s so stupid that developers are even allowed to do this. They should be required to install the fibre and provide the hand off to NBN. Same for embedded energy networks too.

    I must say whilst I am very frustrated with my NBN problems with @Telstra I am very happy with the Twitter support. I am hoping the local upgrades fix the issue very soon #veryslow #frustrating

    @PaulFletcherMP I have NBN I live about 30ks from the city of Sydney My modem since the day it was installed tells me thereโ€™s no signal I was unable to work from home during the lockdown because the Internet dropped in and out all day making work impossible to complete efficiently or effectively

    @NBN_Australia I have taken this up with Telstra on 3 occasions. It's the old Foxtel cable. It apparently needs an upgrade. Not prepared to help

    @Lachlan_Mc That's my issue. Signed up to NBN contract when it (finally) arrived in my area, but now 5G is available it's actually way faster than my broadband. ๐Ÿ™„ Not sure how or who offers a big enough data package to allow streaming on the 5G mobile network. ๐Ÿคท

    @cjoye Sell the NBN? Yeah because when we sold the electricity network, that worked out well for prices. Bringing CGT in line with tax on wages is going to be one of the fairest tax decisions made. Nothing will change otherwise businesses would have left for a tax haven already.

    @Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. Itโ€™s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.

    The three telcos and government-owned NBN Co were left reeling when the regulator rang to notify them of its final pricing decision โ€“ a token $20m reduction to renew spectrum licences essential for carrying mobile signals. ACMAโ€™s decision will result in the sector collectively paying peak market rates of $7.32bn to roll over their existing spectrum holdings as licences begin expiring from 2028. Much of that cost will find its way on to customer bills. More inflation incoming!

    @eevblog I have both, NBN service stability is far less than Starlink's, so it is my backup. I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.
