Nbn tech is here, having a right old prick of a time. 80/6 isn’t a 100/40 plan however. Fix it!

  • LucaConfa80 Luca Confalonieri (@LucaConfa80) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Thanx for the reply but been through those steps multiple times with no avail. Already lodged two complaints, spend hours on phone, got an NBN technician here... But still no solution. Extremely disappointed

  • fictillius 🦠 Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NewtonMark It’ll help them with the purchase of the NBN.

  • maznar Maree Nardone 🧘🏻‍♂️ (@maznar) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I wonder if @TurnbullMalcolm will talk about in his memoirs how He thought Australians don't want fast speed internet. Working from home is an absolute disaster with slow NBN #novision #couldhavedonebetter

  • LucaAndolfo Luca Andolfo (@LucaAndolfo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I can’t reach out your customer service. I ordered the NBN package for a commercial use, Ordered 2 weeks ago!!! We urgently need someone to contact us!!!! Shocking

  • ProfTimStephens Tim Stephens (@ProfTimStephens) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MargotSaville Ha! Legal Insts was my best subject at law school (I topped it). It was a bit down hill after that. Like the NBN.

  • DjuroSen Djuro Sen (@DjuroSen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@CGK700 @TimgGilbert If you get a one - plug it into the LAN port of the router - set up the mesh network. You won’t need the WIFI from the NBN router so best to turn that off if you can. The mesh network can handle everything.

  • SMHFConvoy I'll be letting my hair grow out (@SMHFConvoy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

If being knifed by Morrison wasn't bad enough history is only going to ever remember Malcolm for deliberately ******* up the NBN. 🤣🤣🤣

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I am not having trouble. Your systems are clearly broken if that situation can be marked as fixed.

  • TheMikeOD Michael O'Donnell (@TheMikeOD) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

A full NBN outage while working from home is really not ideal

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NickRossTech @MarkSzili @CorruptNSW @NBN_Australia All it will take to bury the NBN is a pricing decision by the 5G network owners that will make it attractive to home users in urban areas. At Min 10X the speed of that fetid pile of shit known as the NBN, it would be an attractive proposition.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@iPilko @bigjsl @NBN_Australia A contractor actually showed up, but said it isn't something he could fix, but he was having it assigned to a different team. Callout for him, his offsider and their truck was several hundred dollars (a high single-digit number of hundreds).

    Guess whose NBN is down

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@marcuskelson @AussiemacJ @Telstra Took us 147days to get a existing service connected & now half the download speed for what we pay........but the real problem is the LNP Government that destroyed our NBN 👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿💩🤡💩💸💸

  • kellilgray Kelli Gray (@kellilgray) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

  • simon300376 Simon H (@simon300376) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom @NBN_Australia Was booked for technician to attend today between 8-12 today and a NO SHOW. No call, email or txt to explain. The usual poor performance.

  • katiewebb katiewebb (@katiewebb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

1/2 It should be illegal for @Telstra to force a customer (me) to connect to the NBN when other internet options at this address are available (ADSL, cable). It should be doubly illegal, when they can’t even provide NBN because even though I’m “NBN Ready” (its connected to the

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@reubenfarrelly @NBN_Australia I have also been reporting this to NBN since January. Finally got some traction on it this week (in that they acknowledged it with a ticket number and a phone call). My own property has issues too - they called about my poor aerial install and told me my lead-in is underground.

  • phazzles OnlyPhazz (@phazzles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

NBN techs were at the end of my street but they have gone. Internet still down

  • alexislarochel7 alexis.larochelle (@alexislarochel7) reported

@docbaty Reading this + the details in the comments is another confirmation of how everything related to IT in this country is painfully difficult. The NbN, census fail, the Covid app and privacy... in 18 months they could not set up even an automated trigger from a structured db 🤦🤦🤦

  • MrMarc101 Marc (@MrMarc101) reported

@Telstra It's completely stopped. The support team don't seem to understand and they are trying to set me up with a brand new NBN connection for some reason. I would really like this resolved, as I've already spent 2 hours this morning trying to fix this.

  • MrMarc101 Marc (@MrMarc101) reported

I'm super glad that @Telstra forcibly moved me from Cable to NBN under the threat of disconnection. NBN was working great for the first 2 days, but now it's gone done a #Gladys and quit on me, and like her backup, John Barilarlo, the mobile backup network is not working either.

  • figstuff Marilyn😎💃☕🏊‍♀️🎶👄🇪🇸 (@figstuff) reported

@nobodyshares @Bubu_ThePeach @Henry_Belot Dont forget 655,000 for NBN ****** when he had no phone line... Fuccen trees had blown down!!!

  • Christi05571146 ThePlacard@ChristianBrown (@Christi05571146) reported

    NBN down again

  • PJS_84 Paula Steele (@PJS_84) reported

@andybuds23 I was thinking the same thing. 4 major outages and numerous issues. Not one before I was on NBN. The other thing that frustrates me. I pay for 4G back up and it never ever works.

  • pasavito 💉Tony West💉 (@pasavito) reported

@Telstra Thanks; can’t be fixed. Had this for years. As I said before, really bad network design. Then add water & down it goes. Usually the 4G works though, odd it hasn’t. Currently back working on FTTN NBN. Speed slower than normal, will monitor. We’re on the FTTP upgrade list.

  • thenerdbrother Iron Fist. Velvet Glove. ⚠️ (@thenerdbrother) reported

@VEGASGILFIE Engage with Uncle Vinrock Vinnie and KayGee from Naughty but never built with Treach. Met them cats when they were “The New Style” before NBN

  • DrLongSchlongMD David Ivan Chavez Kinsey ******* III (@DrLongSchlongMD) reported

@SuzanneEvans1 Fedgov cut off copper lines to substitute NBN and they haven't even actually completed the works for it yet. Its slow and connectivity is garbage for some. I suspect issues will occur with this new project too given the gov's track record of incompetency

  • civilengineer civilengineer (@civilengineer) reported

@unclepete_100 @GHCuthbertson It was always headed for the chop. Living in the country as I do, the combination of fixed wireless NBN and 3/4/5G wireless is next to useless during emergencies such as cyclones, floods and bushfires. It seems that cannot rely on phone services to call for help.
