Is there a separate system that sends out the NBN outage notification that doesn’t just use current email on file?

Work from here with international clients and rely on consistent internet access. Almost like a third world country. We have to do better. Imagine the productivity losses!

Repair times are random with some repaired today, tomorrow & next week. @stemplemanmp doing a great job trying to help us & prevent regular reoccurrences!

(work on the street, weatherproof boxes on the house, etc.). The overall process must have cost NBN more than $300.

The Indian guy on the phone literally couldn’t speak coherent English, misunderstood 5G and NBN, and sounded like he was calling from a scam centre which he probably was. Got escalated to an Aussie girl, problem was immediately solved.

I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.

Of course no one gave a **** there was a problem on the day. I do have some patch cables without a cat rating, so there is that. Baby steps.
