@tanya_plibersek @stemplemanmp I’ve got a similar story! The TIO is on my case - hope to get Telstra 5G service so I can dump the NBN!

  • YaThinkN Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@slsandpet @RBJRON Yeah... sadly for me, I am still in the karma phase of this crisis. ie. ***** who rubbished our nbn senate submission now struggling to work from home. Yes, I know, I am horrible person and should not be getting so much pleasure from that 😳😉

  • pete_goodlet Pete Goodlet (@pete_goodlet) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia Hi Natalie. We have spent hours on the phone. The first technician was Telstra. The second technician was from @NBN_Australia he was unable to fix the board.. we were meant to be contacted last Tuesday.. still nothing!!

  • johno0910 John Mendoza (@johno0910) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

The #nbn was so bad @ConNetica had to find an alternative provider for fast, reliable service to operate a data dependent business - this is Sunshine Coast not Bamaga. @leighsales @abc730

  • YaThinkN Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@JTCabot @senator_sheldon @geoffrey_payne Would help Australians and public interest journalism. This is nbn all over again 🙄

  • MikeFitzAU 💧Mike Fitzsimon (@MikeFitzAU) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@twasink @LesStonehouse @Optus True. Done that. With my health situation, our house is wi-fi’d to the max. I can speak to unlock the front door to let the ambos in. Visitors and tradies cop it worst. And then we had a week of really poor NBN (Thank you, Mr Turnbull.) I was off the air.

  • YaThinkN Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@davispg Been a bad week. Don't think I am getting computer back tomorrow either. Working on piece of shit and old b nbn one that spits the dummy if open too much 🤬🤬🤬

  • QueenslandInve1 Queensland Investigations (@QueenslandInve1) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Pullenvalebirds I've never had any problems with Telstra I must say. But my modem at 3 years old was simply not keeping up. Telstra told me they'll be replacing the modems abt every 2-3 years for free. I've got the updated version now, the one that overrides NBN and power failures.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • DragonRedV1 Dragon Fan - (@DragonRedV1) reported

@7NewsSydney I am with @DodoAustralia and I'm very happy with my internet speed and service. When it was first installed it was underperforming but they worked with the NBN to get it right and its been great ever since

  • EzekiellPlays Ezekiells Playground *limited commissions open* (@EzekiellPlays) reported

@NazFX_Studios Oh no! I hope you get it fixed soon!! When we switched providers to get NBN, our previous provider basically held us hostage by blocking our addresses NBN service port and only threating the ombudsman got them to back off, leaving us no internet. So I feel your pain

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@ArthurDungasCuz @TurnbullMalcolm Just wait for the MTM supporters to come out and claim that this is down to not purchasing enough capacity rather than the failings of reusing the copper #nbn

  • AllanSpence20 Allan Spence (@AllanSpence20) reported

@NBN_Australia BS paid 19 months no service. Waiting for expemtion from China you told TIO, TPG and Australian minister. You received that China shortage last week and still refuse to install my connection. DISGUSTING.

  • KrikSteven St Gough BAN FOREIGN OWNED MEDIA IN AUSTRALIA (@KrikSteven) reported

@CraigKellyMP IF only the government had built a proper nation building NBN instead of a 20th century fail LNP- the Party YOU were a member of - spending $50 billion to give the nation the worse speeds than they had before they spent to $50 billion

  • NewtonMark Mark “Bannister-Safe” Newton (@NewtonMark) reported

Honestly, @acccgovau has never done anything for broadband in Australia except make it worse. The 121 POI decision was appalling, and pushed up prices for a decade. Now, holding ISPs responsible for NBN's service assurance failures instead of forcing NBN to honor them is woeful.

  • donnerrjay donna (@donnerrjay) reported

@GrogsGamut @iiNet Agreed. I was with them for 14 years!! and they still charged me $200 to cancel when I went to NBN else sign on for another 2yrs. Much happier with Aussie Broadband

  • ecojag ecojag (@ecojag) reported

@albericie @acccgovau Had original 'world's best' NBN taxpayer funded proceeded, would there have been a need for retailers; Telstra/others? Surely a free service for all basic users nationally was expected, with business & higher data users paying by scale, without potential for scamming & skimming.

  • JamesHenstridge James Henstridge (@JamesHenstridge) reported

@GrogsGamut @iiNet I'm still with iiNet because they have the cheapest plan for my building (a non-NBN FTTB one). But their service is nowhere near what it was prior to the TPG merger.

  • zozlewebby_ttv Zoe Webb (@zozlewebby_ttv) reported

When nbn company doesn’t turn up even though they said someone needed to be home between 8-12 this morning as they needed to come inside. Like I get we are in lockdown but what if we all had work and had to cancel that just to sit around for you not to show up :/
