The #nbn was so bad @ConNetica had to find an alternative provider for fast, reliable service to operate a data dependent business - this is Sunshine Coast not Bamaga. @leighsales @abc730

@factchekka @MRowlandMP You really should research this particular issue - then maybe debate it. And as a very fortunate original NBN FTTH user, I've had 100 meg/sec since 2013 - installed for free, without any increase in costs. Never any hassels.

@DesignedToFade A note on the NBN incident says that the technician has repaired damaged cable at the exchange. nbn services remain offline. A specialist tech is being engaged to attend the site for further investigations. The ETA will be provided when it becomes available. Casey

@NBN_Australia I'm very familiar with that page Mervin. It would be nice if it 1. took less than an hour between the outage starting and it showing on the pages (which included 30 min call to the ISP) 2. said something more "An unplanned incident is affecting the network" for over 24 hours.

@CharlesSherlock @peggymel2001 Not hard to believe, I was a Network Tech & having seen some of the NBN being installed. Not only was it incredibly expensive to kludge together the ancient, corroding copper with the already obsolete NBN equipment. The additional labour time needed to do the job was excessive!

Have been without home internet access for the past 48 hours. @optus says its @NBN_Australia and nbn says nothing no estimate for resolution in Epping NSW. Looks like @elonmusk Starlink is needed here as well in OZ cities

@Optus I live in st Leonard’s 2065. I received a text saying the nbn outage in my area is complete. But now the nbn arris modem is flashing non stop and I have no internet at home. Please advise when this will be fixed.
