There’s much bigger issues now, I literally was faced with 1st world problems- only to realise there’s a humanity problem right now.

The speed of the NBN wasn’t the problem. When you work from home, the NBN isn’t an option unfortunately. Thank god for Starlink.

Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra no one ever did get back to me on why the 4g and 5g service is so shite where I live. 3 towers within 2.5km and a dozen within 5km but I still need to use wi-fi calling to guarantee calls getting through. Makes the 4g backup on my nbn modem useless.

When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

Same place, same building just change the unt And the company service are about 3 weeks just talking and no date to get the service done. They asked to change for nbn service, we already accept the terms.

I’m using NBN plus tried ultra fast 5g wireless 250mps / 10 and still forever slow 1.5 -2 second input delay it’s almost unplayable and has ruined my love for this game !! It raised $60bn to sell the assets, then we spent $60bn on NBN Co just to regain access to the assets sold and duplicate/upgrade the network we sold - and Telstra has paid something like $80-85bn in shareholder dividends along the way. In many respects, NBN shouldn't exist. It should have been the $80-85bn in "shareholder dividends" to the Public Owner that paid for the fibres to be laid - not a $60bn investment after a $60bn sale. But NBN was forced to be created after a now-shareholder-owned Telstra responded to how it might build a national broadband network with a non-compliant 12 page letter effectively saying "we won't - the copper wires are our privately-owned monopoly and we want to protect our market monopoly".

The last time it stopped (3rd time in 6 weeks), by the time NBN came to fix it (4 days) it was working again, so they blamed us. But Dodo has line tests showing it wasn’t working and I have photos showing the DSL link not connecting. The NBN is a white elephant. The government needs to sell it now and get whatever it can and move on. I ordered the Starlink dish the same day I booked the NBN repair. The dish came the same day as the NBN tech.

I'm trying to get the AI to work out how many Starlink Service Networks to cover Australia. The slowest speed availiable 100Mbps, $75, UNLIMITED. To basically run a fishing line size string from a pit to the home, bolt on 2 Boxes, connect the fishing wire and bobs your uncle.. So if the Blowout was 10 or 14 Billion on a fishing wire size cable, can you image the shitshow it will be on the blowout to run all the transmission for their NOT so green energy. Lets hope we don't have to look at their muppet heads in a ocuple of yearsd, bloodty trainwrecks they are
