    @gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

    The NBN people finally came to get us connected yesterday, the technician said there’s a fault and will be back in a fortnight. There’s much bigger issues now, I literally was faced with 1st world problems- only to realise there’s a humanity problem right now.

    @Telstra I have spent a lot of time on the phone with the NBN assurance team. I can see that my DM has gone through. I guess it’s time to start exploring other network providers.

    @TPG_Telecom ID 4904297 we are struggling to just have our internet back. We moved apt. Same place, same building just change the unt And the company service are about 3 weeks just talking and no date to get the service done. They asked to change for nbn service, we already accept the terms.

    Well it's down to the wire #NBN says we'll be cut off by early November so have to transition. We don't download heaps, occasionally watch Netflix. We have cable so not much will change. Any suggestions folks for a provider #GoldCoast

    I observe the sending activity blue bar on top on screen and see this goes to sudden stop for moment then it send, indication of possible congestions, or nbn network (a new system network in australia) complications.

    @Telstra No, all it says is that it’s a problem with the NBN network. No further information. I understand you at Telstra may not be getting the info you need. Just a frustrating experience.

    @KoparaFallsKid I'm with Aussie Broadband for the NBN. They are based in Victoria. When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

    Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

    Sweet, first post and it's a rant. Let me just make it clear. @BelongAU Your service in my area of Varsity Lakes on the GC, QLD nbn is constantly dropping out, speeds throttled and apparently you ***** are constantly doing "maintenance in my area". Switching services asap

    @QuentinDempster NBN got paid to replace copper. But they elected to let their contractors to decide The broken rotting hulk of the copper network, had 30+ years of using the wrong product to join copper cable ie the scotch loc Even 3M asked them where they got that stupid idea from! Nbn shld pay

    @NBN_Australia Yep; we did. Needed to get rid of the filter on the phone line. It was that which caused the problem. Now download/upload speeds are 53.8/18.4 Mbps.

    @belongau No idea how you guys are in business when your service for the nbn is so rubbish i wish it was worse than your customer service! Only through messages online, no phone, no f2f, just replies within 24 hours. Sad state of a company clearly not putting customers above $$
