@geoffrey_payne Yes, it isn't bad for business grade fibre. At home I have NBN FTTP, and the 50Mbps speed. Usually works well. Should be targeting 1Gbps for fibre, though!

What a stupid country we are! The LNP took Rudd’s future-focussed NBN and turned it into two tin cans joined with copper and string. Now a third world 19th century network with snail mail speed. And the voters accepted this rubbish because they didn’t like Shorten! Fools!!

@NBN_Australia It appears that there’s ”an outage” affecting ”an area” and I’m in the affected area. I’ll get an sms when it’s back in service. I hope it’s not too late because I want to send two laptops through Windows updates before hitting the road in the morning. Not practical over 4G.

It should have been 90% investment into wireless connectivity, then we wouldn't have wasted billions on useless costly infrastructure. My 5G wireless craps all over NBN speeds. Tech issues. Gah! Apparently I have an NBN problem. I have been 'escalated' which sounds much more fun than it is. Meanwhile, I'm not sure if I should go in to work or stay home and wait for this to be resolved. Supposed to be WFH today but I need the interwebs.
