Have been with Telstra since 1972-have not had a problem. Now on NBN, still with Telstra- have low needs - fixed cost $88.00 per month - all local landline & mobile calls free. Suits me down to the ground.

  • neilmaddo10 Neil Maddison (@neilmaddo10) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Trying to get hooked up to @Optus nbn... Monday they said, now it won’t be. Ready for two weeks of arguing like last time. Customer service is not at all important to them.

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia @Optus NBN HFC 6 weeks of daily multiple dropouts. 4 NBN tech visits + 1 Optus & the issue is still not resolved. Optus modem replaced, NTD replaced, F-connectors replaced but tech not permitted check the connection on the street. Farcical!

  • JanetGoss JG (@JanetGoss) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@TOOTS69er No. Not yet. Right now the NBN is down. I have no broadband....again.

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @Telstra @Optus.. Please help my darling wife I miss her 😢 #auspol #NBN

  • ChrisyG Chris Gillette (@ChrisyG) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

On an up note, the NBN dude turned up today and in shock I sniffled both my way through a bloody nasty head cold and emotion to help him install our HFC line. I just did a speed test, got 36.1 Mbs down / 18.3 Mbs up. Our usual was 5.74 down / 1.14 up. Things are bittersweet.

  • TealJesus_ Teal (@TealJesus_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

this whole no NBN between the hours of 6pm-12am is getting REAL annoying @Telstra How am i supposed to run a livestream with 0.89 upload speeds. 3 days in a row! Y’all are starting to cost me MONEY. And i don’t wanna hear “We understand your frustration” just fix the damn issue

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @factordex @Telstra @NBN_Australia Holy shit

  • MickDaley1959 Mick Daley 🛵 (@MickDaley1959) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@BreakfastNews @geoffrey_payne The ‘nations ministers’ don’t know their arses from their elbows. Australia is going down the gurgler fast. Buildings uninhabitable, NBN not fit for purpose & a fawning media who won’t report the facts.

  • retrogamergirl_ Vic (@retrogamergirl_) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I have spent a lot of time on the phone with the NBN assurance team. I can see that my DM has gone through. I guess it’s time to start exploring other network providers.

  • MCooperAus Michael Cooper (@MCooperAus) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia leasing @Telstra copper with @Optus as a retailer is a perfect example of how three providers is not better than one. A lot of 👉👈 finger pointing as to who has the issue all the while the customer (me) with awful internet....#sortitout

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia The problem is the techs that are sent won’t check the connection on the street. They change something internally for no good reason and report back that the fault is fixed which it is not. I go back to @Optus and the same process happens again.

  • sacarlin48 💧Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

  • sacarlin48 💧Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Well it's down to the wire #NBN says we'll be cut off by early November so have to transition. We don't download heaps, occasionally watch Netflix. We have cable so not much will change. Any suggestions folks for a provider #GoldCoast

  • Mcali4 liz (whose side are you on) franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@emlafudd @Telstra Actually the real scam is when the @NBN_Australia is connected. Absolute shite at my in laws at Albany Creek apparently. Drops out..unusably slow..pathetic.

  • LeithEriksonABF Leith (@LeithEriksonABF) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Optus NBN is a reoccurring horror movie where you go from one work order to the next with no one able to deliver a completed service. #NBNFAIL

  • WhiplashUnited Mickey Dee (@WhiplashUnited) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Can’t even watch a five minute video because .@optus is useless. Worse still it’s NBN.I pay $85 month for a failing service. Rort.

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia @Optus NBN HFC 6 weeks of daily multiple dropouts. 4 NBN tech visits + 1 Optus & the issue is still not resolved. Optus modem replaced, NTD replaced, F-connectors replaced but tech not permitted to check the connection on the street. Farcical!

  • Tur71e Brett Turville (@Tur71e) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus my 4G broadband at #stafford is so bad. Either that or the @Huawei modem. Not an isolated event. Really question the advertising around super fast 4g. Every night a snail pace speed. #nbn #broadband #nombps #slowinternet

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia Each time a tech comes out they refuse to check the HFC connection on the street. They say they are not allowed to put a ladder against the pole. After 6 visits nothing is wrong internally so it must be the street connection. 15+ dropouts today. Please help!

  • RM_LewisAu exercisethegenius (@RM_LewisAu) reported

@TPG_Telecom I’ve had no nbn for 12-24 hrs now. TPG keep putting it on nbnco and they say issue resolved several times but nope. I’m in Potts Point 2011. Anyone else having the same problem? It’s getting ridiculous at this point.

  • r_quazzy ramona quazzola (@r_quazzy) reported

I’m visiting the South Coast of NSW & the internet & data roaming is crap. Can’t even get 4G on my mobile. It’s so bad I can’t even tweet a complaint. What a disgrace! How do the locals put up with this? @Telstra @Optus @NBN_Australia

  • PhilipC10011545 Philip Cox (@PhilipC10011545) reported

@Kate3015 The definition of "irony" been told the NBN (no bloody network) went down in his street for 6 hours. Now what did he do before becoming the worst PM we've had? #copperwire

  • PinarooR 💧PinarooRay (@PinarooR) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Raymartin55 If ScoMo thought Aust Post was bad he should look at the NBN Co.Spending figures. But wait, NBN Co. Is led by one of the boys, let's not look too hard at all, just yet. The chair and most of the board of Aust. Post have to go, and the PM should deliver an apology. Won't happen.

  • Rachael07384347 Rachael williams (@Rachael07384347) reported

1mill bonus for vaccine rollout....77mill bonus to NBN...not bad when you fail...

  • BelindaJones68 💧🔥🐨Bee🐝🐀PM for Sewer Rats (@BelindaJones68) reported

@BaxterPeterba @BreakfastNews @RichardMarlesMP I agree - bonuses given out by independently-run public companies is worthy of conversation- just look at NBN bonus system But, that issue has been conflated with the bullying issue & the onus is on AusPost Board to explain it- they approved the watches & signed-off on them 🐝

  • HenriMcAlister 💧Henrietta McAlister (@HenriMcAlister) reported

Now being let down by both nbn and @telstra. Promises promises.

  • SuperMario343 MrTron (@SuperMario343) reported

For Starlink to take market share from @NBN_Australia Starlink needs to remove the $799 fee for the satellite dish and $139 month to month fee. Replace it with an $89, 36 month locked-in contract, which totals to $3,204 per customer over a 36 month period. @elonmusk
