He was so arrogant & rude. As soon as he left I rang @Telstra straight back & told them what happened & said I'd like the issue escalated immediately which they did. This morning another tech turned up 👇👇👇

@NBN_Australia Hi Natalie. We have spent hours on the phone. The first technician was Telstra. The second technician was from @NBN_Australia he was unable to fix the board.. we were meant to be contacted last Tuesday.. still nothing!!

@fi_shep @Telstra It’s a pain in the arse hey!🤬 Who would think in our day & age you struggle to connect with someone on the phone for a service they’re suppose to provide & have things dealt with quickly - more fool us!

@Pullenvalebirds I've never had any problems with Telstra I must say. But my modem at 3 years old was simply not keeping up. Telstra told me they'll be replacing the modems abt every 2-3 years for free. I've got the updated version now, the one that overrides NBN and power failures.

@Telstra No not at all - after 50 minutes, 5 people and 1 Bot I was informed they could not help me and to go to a Telstra Shop. No! Anything but a Telstra Shop where kiddies have to stop grooming themselves to serve me then ask heaps of questions before telling me they don’t know 😱

@Niksterisms @BeccaHayne @Telstra Yeah. Not ideal but how else can we watch? Bad enough with what we are talking about now, but add in rugby league, union, basketball, soccer, hockey (field & ice), gymnastics, athletics, state comps you name it... would be enough to fill 🤔

On Wednesday I phoned @Telstra bc both of my landline phones were cutting out. Being a priority customer & them needing to fix any fault where possible w/i 24hrs a tech came out Thursday stayed 4 5 mins & said u need 2 go 2 Officeworks & buy a new ph set 👇👇👇

@shapednoise No. The app on the phone is working fine. Just when streamed through Telstra TV keeps failing but we are using same #Fraudband for both. Plus others in other locations having issues too.

@ellispeta Yeah get it had the same issue when doing telstra games, a lot of my work toward the end of it was trying to develop metrix to report on for a very successful service with largely intangible benifits

@NewcastleGardia @YaThinkN @Telstra From the discussion I had on the phone with Telstra it more seems like they cant post an official outage until they can physically get to the site (be it the exchange or whatever) to confirm it. However, due to the fires here at Peregian, they can’t confirm.

@TPythia @Telstra No. I didn't actually. It occurred during the second call when they phoned me and let me know that the issue was more involved than they envisaged, that it had been escalated and they told me they were crediting my account plus more data free of charge for my mobile.

@simonahac @Telstra I used to run into problems when helping out customers with them. The overseas call centers get more money by selling people new or extra services so seemed solely focused on that. Had a pensioner moving house that was sold a new service and lost her email address.

Anyone else had trouble receiving the text from Twitter for two-factor authentication (when you have to enter a code to login, as well as your password)? I don't think Telstra is down so I wonder what was going on. Couldn't get codes last night, still can't this morning.

@simonahac @Telstra I went to the Telstra shop and got them to do the calling. 15 minutes and the support person was getting quite agitated. Not sure it added to the customer experience database.

@Telstra Hi @Telstra I didn’t restart the modem and this week have been back to 100Mbs download and 30Mbs upload as the service level should be. This would indicate that the slow speeds were due to work being done by Telstra… just tell us when you are doing maintenance work…
