Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hill Top and nearby locations:

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

    @mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • PalliThordarson Palli Thordarson (@PalliThordarson) reported from Bowral, State of New South Wales

    Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Picketer Tim Lyons (@Picketer) reported

    .@Telstra suck. 30 years as a customer and can’t speak to a human. Tried a dozen times and wanting to shift 5 connections. I would like our phones and internet to work in the Melb inner city but too hard apparently.

  • NoiGeorge George: (@NoiGeorge) reported

    @James_On_Film Possibly! Mobile hotspot - and other signals! - were recognised, but not the one that the house uses. Which seems like a wifi problem- but called Telstra, who said nothing was wrong at all

  • M1shka_8 Mishka 🐻 (@M1shka_8) reported

    @Telstra can go **** itself #outage #telstra #wednesdaythought

  • JohnDobbin John Dobbin (@JohnDobbin) reported

    @chaser1066 @Telstra bandwidth problems?

  • SommervilleMark Mark Sommerville (@SommervilleMark) reported

    @Telstra I told these bastards I'd pay them in full on a certain date. I don't was only 1 month behind, been with them 20months. They disconnected my nbn and phone the day before I said I'd pay. Just in time for Xmas. Telstra are low life scum. I swore I'd never use them again. Aassholes

  • brettbrooks Brett Brooks (@brettbrooks) reported

    @paul_lawrie @Telstra Saw your tweet the other day. Seriously tempted. @telstra as a company are horrible to deal with these days.

  • HappySinger Dave The Happy Holidays (@HappySinger) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @tomcollins76 Yeah, the independent systems it replaced did that and did it well. I've identified at least three specific issues but they boil down to overengineering (imho) and not gracefully handling flaky connections while Telstra 4G had a moment.

  • patoiswife Rosie Mullaly (@patoiswife) reported

    @Picketer Here’s a tip ... complain to the Telco Ombudsman, just takes a call. It’s a requirement then that a real human contact you from Telstra and deal with the issue. They throw a fair bit of effort to resolving anything that’s been raised with the TIO. Worked for me during lock-down.

  • paul_lawrie Paul Lawrie 🎮 (@paul_lawrie) reported

    @brettbrooks @Telstra Get onto the $150/year Woolworths mobile plan, which is on the Telstra network. You get (I think) 80GB of data per year plus a monthly voucher to get 10% off groceries. Pick up the starter sim at any Woolworths store. Easy churn.

  • bolangum Alex🇦🇺🖖🌞😎🏊🏽🦈🦠😷 (@bolangum) reported

    @alexeiw123 @BJafari In my particular neck of the woods Optus is better, cheaper, and their customer service is superior to Telstra. To access Telstra mobile internet for home, Yagi $1400 aerial was bought. (no NBN, never will be, satellite too Rooney and expensive for my pensioner parents)
