@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@DuffmanGay @LesStonehouse @Optus Exactly. I'm with Telstra personally and have been luckier than most, but correct. The providers have an obligation to fix the issues/replacements with their provided equipment, be it a router, home phone or fetch box. If it is not your own router, it's Optus' cost.

@LesStonehouse From my experience and that of others, unless you live in or very near one of the large cities, don't use Optus, use Telstra & only Telstra network.

@AlsPatch @LesStonehouse @Optus Many opt in to Telstra due to reach of service only to find they have way too much traffic on the platform and big biz and big media (read Murdoch) get priority of commons segments now most media is digital. Murdoch is chasing Optus Satellite tech contracts, should be stopped!

@Telstra Hey, #telstra why ask to DM if all you’re going to do is tell me to message the app? Why not say it here? The app is an abyss of endless requests to repeat the steps that didn’t work the first 50 times, before fading away without a resolution

@BenFruitTwitch I never had anything but trouble and frustration with telstra mate, ditch them and call someone like iinet/Internode whatever they call themselves and switch. though i would like to see that duel!

Pov: You are about to cancel all plans with @Telstra. STORY TIME, forgot to pay my bill it was 1 WEEK late. so what happens they turn off my services, pretty much I had no internet or calls. And that was on the day im trying to drive home, (More in comments)

You report on an area of the internet that I know nothing about and have never been bc I'm afraid of the dark... props for having your pgp key in your profile. I think that might be the 1st time I've seen anyone do it not that I know what it is.
