@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@Peter90666913 No issue her with Aussie broadband this month. Changed from Telstra coax to nbn and everything was sorted, had to ring twice for them to do something and no issues. Aussie call centre and very happy people. Plus their plan was very competitive and no contract.

Claire, Cas, Matty, Ollie the names of @Telstra staff who have sent me twitter messages in December promising to fix things, managers are supervising...blah blah blah. @Telstra is a junk company could not survive in any other country. Monopoly once public property. #owned

@Telstra Well that is horribly inconvenient. Will it cost the same to get the same service if I change? What happens to my existing credit? (Hundreds of dollars)

@Telstra Are you going to respond? Or just providing a link is the ceiling of your service level? Why did you ask me to DM you? Why couldn’t you provide a link without me sending you DM? So it just looks like on the outside you are actually helping?

@FOXTEL_Help outage in Brisbane? Seems like no where online can I get support. Telstra page is as usual hopeless.. never in real-time also.

@Telstra No it’s not. Your chat team is too slow to understand that smart modem should kick in and but even that is so slow. And unfortunately there is no tech support number I can call.

@oysta @darkhorse166 Bin the them... If you have FTTN look for a 5G service. Optus and Telstra are targeting underserved areas.

@chrismurphys @Telstra while they can be painful to deal with they have always resolved my internet issues and they would only charge if the fault is on premise. some times you have to manage them closely to get the outcome you want. other telco options can be worse.
