Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@EFTM @Telstra No way, nothing could save Telstra's customer service, abysmal at best. They have tried all sorts of customer service bots; local knowledgeable people are the best bet. Also, noted the uber low cost Belong service is now double the cost it started at.

@Telstra It's not just here (Bathurst at present).. It's slow everywhere.. Specially in Alice Springs where 4G is pathetic and I've got to use 3G to etch Netflix or YouTube streaming..

Well @Telstra so disappointed that not only is there no mobile coverage on Norfolk Island but I can’t call Norfolk Island from the mainland as you don’t support this “international location”. Didn’t expect to have these problems on the @Telstra network as NI is part of Australia!
