@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@Telstra Surely in this day and age, there must be something to stop this from happening? I bet businesses in Newcastle and Sydney wouldn't put up with it? Once again, country regions just have to put with poor service offerings from big business.

Don’t comment on the poor service at a Telstra shop on Facebook. They just delete your comments. Drove all the way to Smithfield, FNQ because the newish phone I bought from TLS does not work. Told to come back in two hours. I did but no, had to wait another half hour

Paul Keating: came... and went.. Now has the time to suck his teeth and brew up comments on Australia's performance. Not perfect: He robbed Telecom to fill the budget, did not see the problems with his Telstra idea- condemned Aust to years of telecommunication catastrophe.

In response to the message I had sent them via their website, the shopping centre management contacted me today. They will now get one of their risk team members to call me. We discussed the disconnected phone issue, he said they are in discussions with Telstra about coverage. 🤔

@hirschirsch @Telstra Perhaps Boost mobile? True full access to the telsta network, but missing some high end 4gx functionality from memory. Was all done online. But backed by Telstra online support.

@Telstra really disappointed with my “5G” more so 4G service in Moranbah (QLD 4744) the last 2 days when not connected to wifi my phone is virtually unusable can’t even load a page on Safari. Thought we were past this in 2023…may have to consider alternative options in my area
