Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Moved my mobile to @Telstra . I have issues with my telstra id, telstra shop can't help, phone support pushes me to live chat which isn't working. What a disgraceful attempt at service.

To get my 5G mobile service started - listen to this - Telstra is going to send me a QR code. In. The. Mail. On. Paper. In. An. Envelope. Irony. Irony. Amazing. What a **** company.

@DaveMilbo We switched over to NBN about a year ago and are with Telstra. Only 40 Mbs but can't complain, it's reliable and good enough for what we need it for. Only issue is their customer service. It's been horrendous on those few rare occasions where I've needed to contact them.

@DaveMilbo We are down the road from you and have had an average upload speed of .01 every day over Christmas. We couldn’t work properly today. Phone tethering is OK. Telstra say we should be lucky not to have to do that all the time. 2021. 3rd world.

@EmergencyBK If your wifi problem is with Telstra/nbn, contact them here on Twitter. I did the other day after trying for ages to get through on phone and they got it fixed in no time.

@telstra sucks. I have just cancelled my order for a new 5G mobile service. Your website sucks. Everything about your existence sucks. As a company, you suck. You are worse than @qantas - that is awesome suck.

@dysorojo @DaveMilbo Be careful with grace period. Telstra shut my adsl about 15 months into it, no notice, because ‘you need to switch to nbn’. They could never explain why they did it early, or without warning. They reconnected when I found out what happened but it took a week.

@DaveMilbo Between the "technology mix" and ISPs cutting corners on the wholesale costs, NBN was never going to be as good as the cashed-up networks in countries with high population density. But I'm damn glad we don't still have the millstone of Telstra's monopoly hanging around our necks.

@SERG1O_D @Telstra When you have to yell into that automated service yell complaints. Seems to work for me.
