@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@Telstra I don't have a reference number. I have spent multiple times on the phone to your team and multiple chats through the app and then an hour on the phone this morning only to be cut off. Fair to say I'm furious now. What do you need to fix this.

@Telstra Thanks. “should” is not “is”. Troubleshooting did not help the situation. All it did was try to tell me the problem is resolved cause I’m in my home and can wifi calling. Please tell me how this helps when I’m out of the house and there’s an emergency?

@Telstra I just need a technician to come onsite. Remote checking not working. Nearly 4 hours in the app and NOTHING to show for it. I have a business dependent on good internet. Pay Telstra around $6,000 pa for service. Feeling slightly ripped off atm.

@Telstra No issue with the NBN. No my mobile is not working on the mobile network. I can’t even send a text when away from wifi. I could get an emergency message or call to my daughter in transit from school

After 9 hrs of no phone, and numerous thoughts of “if I google *this* it might help then a “damnit no service so no google” it took exactly 8 min in @Telstra at Castletown this morning to have a new SIM activated & now I’m all good! They were great and so quick and easy!
