Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Telstra I was awaiting a call from my case manager today to see if I had gotten out of Telstra jail - they never called. I'll DM the case number. I'm locked out of purchasing new products and the rewards store with no explanation of how a strangers credit card was added to my account.

@Telstra @andy_penn ... i've tried calling the parramatta store. they never answer. the call either drops out or after 5 min goes to voicemail, which says they will call back "today". i've left messages explaining the urgency but still have not heard from them. i need this fixed!

@Telstra We need to be told what is happening. It’s news to technicians working at the local exchange that there’s been a fire. It’s now been over a week; neighbours now have services restored, but not my relatives. This has become farcical and perhaps indicative of @Telstra customer care

Hey @Telstra - my NBN box got fried in the electrical storm last Tuesday. I reported the issue and was told a technician would come to fix it. The first appointment was cancelled. So was the second one - turns out it was logged as a network outage, not a hardware fault...

Well, so far today I’ve had 4 phone calls in an hour.. 2 from Telstra tech support re my Internet, 1 from Spain claiming 2 b an eBay account problem & 1 from NZ abt an Amazon account issue. Not to mention attempts 2 hack Twitter & FB Stay vigilant, folks. Scammers r out in force

My phones WiFi reception from Telstra is bloody woefully at the moment & has been for some time. Telstra say they will not upgrade the tower to improve the signal. I have just been up to the hospital to get the Pfizer booster shot & I'm living in hope of this improving the signal
