Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still relying on my so called 'smart modem' to access Twitter. Slow as a bloody snail, but better than nothing until the Telstra NBN CONTRACTER technician turns up on Tuesday. It's been nearly a fortnight. Can't do internet banking - too risky. Not happyyyyy @Telstra 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌

@Telstra outage affecting Burringbar Pottsville etc since yesterday and eta fix thurs 2nd June! Website says planned but community had no notification and there are rumours a tower was burned down. What is going on? This is essential for work and study

@VinceRugari Been an @Optus customer for 20+ years. My current contract is up & I've been flirting with the idea of changing to Telstra after Optus failed to bid for the A-League, plus their crap phone reception. The new @OptusSport streaming charges has made my decision easier. Bye Optus!

Finally got services reconnected, but no explanation of why no communication via email or text. Chat support was trying to claim that Telstra doesn't need to provide any notification of outstanding account or disconnection notice. Really!?!

Gotta love Telstra Wholesale techs. Reported to Telstra when we moved in that there's severe damage to the POTS relay near our house. They send someone to prop it up with a stake and some ziplock ties. It falls over again later, same dealio.

@OptusSport Oh yuck, only reason I signed up with Optus was to watch the EPL, if I have to pay for it despite paying over 90$ a month for a plan, might as well cancel it and move everything back to Telstra

Is this @Telstra @BelongAU new business model? Cause all new activations to contact help desk, when can't provide proof of purchase deny service and keep the money? Surely this isn't legal? SIM purchased at @woolworths
