Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Telstra What is going on? My email is not working, but you're still fast to send my bill! You don't even have humans we can talk to, so we have to go through Twitter? What kind of business are you running? I've been with Telstra for 30 years. I can't believe I put up with it!

@Telstra I don’t have a login because your website throws errors every time I try to make it. Apparently despite being the business owner and the person who set up the account, I am not authorised on the account, so the app can’t work.

@Telstra I use Thunderbird, and it doesn't work. I went straight to the Telstra webmail, and that doesn't work, I tried my phone email and that's on/off. So what am I supposed to do? Do you have any idea what is happening? When will this be fixed?

@AlanBixter There is a telstra man hole (giant underground pit / room) in Melbourne they had to pump about 30,000 liters of water out of just to access to run a new optus fiber optic cable through their network a few months back

@Telstra @Telstra surprisingly outgoing emails seem to be going fine. I have tried accessing through various ways - outlook, webmail, Telstra mail etc but no luck. This has not been working for many days/weeks now. Why is a email server issue for such a small group so difficult to resolve
