Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@cat240359 @_ClaireConnelly @ING We’re asked to not comment on other providers’ products, but I’m often advising that Belong plans (And other MVNOs like Aldi Mobile) are on the Telstra network before they switch networks. But you’re feedback is consistent with my advice to them also.

so after 16 hours (10 on Friday and 6 today) Telstra still cant provide any answers to a simple problem. They are more concerned with passing the buck than solving anything,, service is very poor and no one cares. #telstrasux #telstra

When there’s a power outage I use my mini boom rechargeable portable speaker. I will have to take my phone & the speaker back to where I bought it, Telstra to get it turned back on again. Links missing.?

@Josieamycashman @MrKRudd I refused to connect to the NBN because I didn't want to support ANOTHER government disaster. I use a Netgear LB2120 4G modem and Telstra data only sim. My internet blitzes my neighbours NBN, and it's portable anywhere in the country with phone signal. NBN=FAIL.

@callralstonsaul Well there is that disaster too isn't there? The assumption that all Australian's have access to NBN, even at the best of times, which we don't, let alone after a natural disaster takes out connections whether it's Telstra pits or mobile phone black spot towers( many burnt down)

@Fathairylazy @Telstra Why do Telstra keep claiming faults are resolved when they are so clearly not? I cannot get anything done about my Mum's home phone that's been dead for over 4 weeks now. If they just phoned her number they would see it's not working. Do technicians even still exist? Seems not.

@PsychosisFuzz @KKeneally The nodes were not being maintained properly by Telstra. Water damage is the common issue. Replacing these boxes is far cheaper than splicing fibre to each individual home. It was a ridiculous plan to begin with. New suburbs maybe worthwhile, apartments definitely viable.
