Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@deeplongstop @Telstra Hey mate I came across a thread about this earlier. Not sure if you’ve seen it too but someone recommended a free app called Truecaller and it apparently does a good job of blocking scam texts and calls. I’ve been getting this **** and ATO scam calls for months now 😓

He's now at 3 hrs 35 mins. He was going to get some groceries but can't leave the WiFi zone or the call will drop because we have no 4G, HENCE THE REASON FOR THE CALL. Sort your **** out @Telstra #Telstra #TelstraCustomerService
