@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@AlexBallhausen @TonyHWindsor Totally agree. We live about 50klms north of Sydney and have very little to no coverage! Hardly the Simpson Desert either. Telstra’s solution….. get NBN, so you have a land line, no other choice.

@Jeanett78434655 @AlexBallhausen Emergency calls require at least *one* mobile network to have signal. Doesn't matter which one (so if you have an Optus phone, and you get a Telstra signal it will work). No networks at all, nothing to connect to.

@WalterDixon2 @AaronDodd @Telstra Having spent nearly 11 months arguing with them and this included the CEO on twitter I am inclined to agree. Things were so bad they just kept crediting my account every month. I do know they do not like bad publicity on twitter.
