    Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

    @mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    @ShiannonC Oh the memories of all this. I finished up having to mail a certified copy of the EPA for the electricity. Telstra was also a pain - couldn’t even pay the final amount on my mother’s behalf - another certified copy of EPA to cancel service and pay account 😓

    @ShiannonC Had the same problem with Telstra. Mother was dysphasic and bed bound, paralysed down 1 side. I had POA They insisted on talking to her.

    @NBN_Australia @whiteycnbr Australian isps don't give a hoot about the customer I know a lady that is still on ADSL2 through Telstra she pays $89 a month for a 5 megabit connection.. and I will not do nothing about it they will not let her upgrade to 4 or 5G Wi-Fi that will not help out with her modem .

    @Telstra Thanks Cas for the lovely, fast reponse! So - how can we find out why the coverage has dropped from full-coverage to 1 bar, a few months back .. for this suburb. Surely, I'm not the first person to file a complaint about this, from this suburb? Yes -> we used to have full cov.

    @markhumphries Yes but its not a required service. Telstra does provide a 4g modem you can just cart about if u like as does optus !

    @markhumphries Australian Telcos have always been **** like this. When I first moved out of home in the early 80s as an impoverished teen, living on $36/week, Telstra wanted $260 to get a bloody phone line installed, which I obviously couldn't afford.

    @Telstra I have lost internet AGAIN! I am sick of messaging you privately as you do nothing, lie and threaten me. I have repeatedly told you it is an infrastructure problem FROM YOU! You are too lazy to bother fixing regional and remote areas. Am sick of paying for no net!!

    @Telstra It’s a simple issue. You are not provisioning your towers appropriately given the amount of increased traffic. But how is some joker in India ringing me supposed to help?
