@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@ianbfarquhar @DopedByMurdoch Telstra also managed to get NBNCo to pay them to "fix" the copper network before they handed it over. Millions to repair all the joint mushrooms with cables sealed with corrosive "mastic". All those joints disconnected by FTTC installs. Watched it happen down my street.

@Telstra Can you please tell me what is the problem at Beechworth 3747? Second day with no mobile phone or text. Outage map shows nothing.

@Transperth the red bearded security guard made me, with a foot injury, walk from globe lane entrance because he closed it early. He said it was 7.15, but the telstra network said it was not & the time on my phone matched the time in the station when I got in. Have a word to him

@Telstra Charged twice for the same bill - once by MyTelstra, which I was informed at the time was not working and that I would have to try later, and once after I eventually paid the bill by phone. I have one receipt number only, for the phone payment.

@averyfires @Telstra Hoping Ethan can help as it does not sound right if you were not informed of a potential charge, doubly so if it was a network fault. If Ethan cannot help &you can't escalate a complaint further then raise it with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman but hope Ethan can help

@ianbfarquhar @DopedByMurdoch The reason MTM was financially attractive is pits wouldn't need to be upgrade for FTTP. Watched as Telstra came down my street replacing all the old asbestos pits before fibre was run & FTTC was installed.

To speak to somebody at Telstra I am going to have to go in to a store in person. I have spent maybe 40 minutes trying, using various numbers, calling individual stores. The telephone was invented to solve this exact problem.

Eight years ago I ported out from @Telstra to @VodafoneAU. Now, thanks to ongoing poor network reliability (unrelated to the recent nationwide #vodafail) I’m looking to move back. Six days in and @Telstra haven’t successfully ported my number and have demonstrated (1/4)
