@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@saphire2006 I'm not sure but I think it will depend on your service supplier. Like Telstra is more likely to work then vodaphone. Google ur provider service Uluru and you should be able to find out.

@Telstra Why is my IP address in Tasmania when I live in Sydney? Some apps like 7Plus show me the wrong news because of this. It happened two weeks ago and I requested a fix. Now it has happened again. Will I have to appy to have it fixed every two weeks? I have an NBN contract.

Just thinking how NYC got rid of its last payphone, but here in Aus Telstra made them free and uses them as wifi hotspots and for advertising. In the UK the booths now often have defibrillators in them. America hates poor people.

@Telstra your customer service is actually appalling. I’ve had @NBN_Australia techs tell me the wiring for our internet and @Foxtel has been done incorrectly and now Telstra is telling me it’s NBNs fault. All of you are making things so difficult, and wasting my money. 1/
