@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@Telstra I’ve received a text after contacting Smart Troubleshooting which says I don’t have an initial fault. Yet I’m still unable to make or receive calls. Your outage website still isn’t up to date either. Is there any ETA for this?

@7NewsMelbourne There's a strong clause for service cancellation arguing gross incompetence and bringing the service agreement into disrepute so ALL customers of Optus should do this. Won't save our data unfort. I sub managed to cancel this morning and move (back) to Telstra...

I went with voda as I have an Apple Watch to feed. But I will get a 12 month Aldimobile sim for my iPad mainly to have redundant network data coverage. I will still be paying much less than the Telstra price hikes over the past year.

@Telstra pay $150 a month for a plan that 4 g and 5 g won't even let me make calls on. Have to do it in 3 g and you think you wanna shut it down when most places I go to its the only one that always works. Joke

@Telstra My brother who is a few kms further had same issue but he left because it too unreliable. He went with Musk's mob. I went through my whole system last night just to get it to work finished at 3am it was off again this morning when I got up
