@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

It was confirmed to me today that young women should be running the joint. After 40hrs of phone calls to @telstra a young lady just starting out at a T shop listened patiently to my problem, said i don't know how to fix it, but I know someone who does, and she did, and fixed it.

@theage @acccgovau Ever since Federal Government wanted every premise needed to have access to landline phone &/or offered an alternative method by telcos to call in emergencies: Telstra have milked it for what It's worth & stopped selling Standalone Internet Plans to also help them bundle Foxtel.

Has anyone managed to wrestle any information out of @telstra as to when the 4 day outage, which is reported as resolved as of 6pm yesterday will actually be resolved. "asap" was cited as of this morning. @andy_penn - is this your standard?

The PEOPLE who work for @Telstra are always helpful but wow, when you need to speak to a human & the number menu doesn’t cover your problem so it deliberately hangs up on you & sends an SMS saying go online? May as well be a cheerful ’Get Rooted!’ recorded message.
