Apparently Telstra is now saying it wasn't an attack but an internal issue. Hope that is true. At least the issue has been fixed.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Telstra Caulfield North 3161, the NBN has been really rocky service for days. Either isn't working, or is slow when it is. The 4G backup coverage is really bad at my place so it barely works when the NBN is down. No outages detected on your site. Can someone please look into it?

@Telstra Any tips for turning off the stupid voicemail system that pushes recordings to your phone 6 hours after the message is left and reverting back to the old (and better) system of simply receiving a message to call 101?

Sorry: Boring Tweet. I'm with Optus, which is on the Telstra network, third day in a row of an issue under investigation rendering me unable to work. Frequent issues for the past 6 months - I need a better option for work, arguably an essential service.

@Telstra The mobile cellular reception in Altona North (AN) is 2 bars at best, mostly just one. I’ve lived here for more than a year, and the signal has been terrible all the time. My housemate works from home, his colleague is also in AN and says the reception here is always terrible.

@Telstra Yes. I have an iPhone. Thanks for the reply. I have phoned support before and didn’t get a straight answer. It’s not good when I have business messages that I’m receiving a day late!

@Telstra Yeah, slowly. Been uploading an hour video today for 10hrs and I'm at 30%, its actually going to take more than 24hrs for one video upload. Actually listening to the customer in the first place would have saved 2 days, maybe its time to look elsewhere after this disaster.
