@abcnews So my experience using IIG was a dream, just dealing with Telstra in the lead up was a horror and why I am no longer their customer.

  • BFewy66 Barry Fewquandie (@BFewy66) reported from Cairns, State of Queensland

@jriewolod @Telstra You can contact OPAN Older person’s advocacy Network for free advice and support to get justice and a full refund. The Australian Competition Consumer Commission ACCC can also assist with unfair contacts that over promise and under deliver on contractual agreements. 1800 700 600

@Telstra may I just say how frustrating it is to accomplish simple tasks via your silly chat system in the app, a simple messagebank change should not take 2 months of waiting days for a reply, then when I reply being kicked back to the bot! Fix it or answer calls! #TelstrFail

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jasonbelcher Jason (@jasonbelcher) reported

@TMFScottP @FraserWatt16 @Telstra ... the backhoe in the front yard that ripped through the cable, doesn't help the customer. Not to mention when it's the cat that pulled the data cable out or the power was unplugged to run the vacuum cleaner. I've worked first level support and nothing would surprise me ...

  • deeplongstop Deep Longstop 🐶🏏 🍻 (@deeplongstop) reported

@Telstra @FOXNRL Fix my internet ya jerks

  • thatjuicyzulu Melusi (@thatjuicyzulu) reported

@Telstra Oh and I registered a complaint on 29 October and was told someone would be in touch in 48-72 hours. That was 276 hours ago and no one has been in touch. This is easily the worst customer experience of my life.

  • GJBSnodgrass Geoff of Hackett (@GJBSnodgrass) reported

Hi @Telstra, how is it possible that my 82yo mum who lives alone has been left without landline & wifi for 2 wks waiting for a faulty @NBN_Australia modem to be replaced with no offer of support to install it when it does eventually arrive? There is something very wrong here.

  • ietsystems Brian Wilson (@ietsystems) reported

@Telstra 1. YOUR OUTAGE PAGES says there is no issue - then the subsequent page says there IS -Telstra contractors say the issue was caused by an NBN technician months ago - after 20 days of no net degraded 3G & broken restoration promises @Telstra says it cant call affected CLIENTS back

  • WeLoveTech_SA WeLoveTech (@WeLoveTech_SA) reported

@gdrosser Try using the Telstra app to chat to support. Using over seas call centres are not good for support. Telstra has sacked all the skilled Australians over the years for cheap unskilled call Center staff. And I betting that no one listens to the surveys at the end of the call.

  • ExotikaExotika1 Exotika Exotika (@ExotikaExotika1) reported

So disheartening when a big organisation puts a small businesa through stress, anxiety, wastage of resource.. @Telstra worst service!!! Worst experience.. almost an year, 98 calls, all the time that I could have spent in nurturing my business, spent in chasing to fix! @andy_penn

  • FraserWatt16 Fraser Watt (@FraserWatt16) reported

@TMFScottP @Telstra 2/ If anything goes wrong the first question asked is not "did you try to help the customer?" but rather, "Did you follow the system and process". It doesn't matter if you help most people ...if you did not follow the System and Process then it becomes a disciplinary matter.

  • jasonbelcher Jason (@jasonbelcher) reported

@TMFScottP @FraserWatt16 @Telstra There's good arguments for systems and processes, it depends *how* it's done. Health care is completely different to customer service obviously, but lives are saved by policies of "if the patient ticks these boxes YOU MUST escalate care regardless of how benign you think it is".

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@trandel @AlboMP All boils down to selling off all of Telstra as a single entity instead of splitting wholesale and retail, then Sol not being willing to split like NZ telecom did. Telstra did everything to protect its profits, hence why they bled the CAN dry and had no plans for upgrades
