  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Contacted @Telstra this morning about their notice I was on a new contract starting today. I stumbled on this in the app - didn’t receive notice of it in either email or post. Started a support thread but the agent said “let me investigate” at noon. Crickets since. Not happy

“Enjoying” the world’s 64th-best Internet service this afternoon .. WiFi & Ethernet playing tag-team I’m up-no-I’m up .. @Telstra not interested in telling me why, just want to fix it .. @NBN don’t care — just fob me off to Telstra Time for @TelcoOmbudsman - I’ve had enough

  • i386 James Dumay (@i386) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I’d like to report this but do not want to spend an hr on the phone so you can check the same tool I do and see that everything’s fine. The network here isn’t working and I can corroborate this with other Telstra devices and other people

  • druka1986 Daniel Gomez (@druka1986) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Luceobrien I actually went with the all access from Telstra. Confirmation received, no issues…yet.

  • aushistoryguy The Aus. History Guy (@aushistoryguy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I have been in communication with your company via text for almost the last 5hrs - the text message service simply does not understand the nature of my issue. PLEASE respond.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra And the poor signal strength at home since July. I’m 25m from the antenna with 1bar. And the new Telstra app won’t show my data usage. I’ve been told they’re “looking into it” since august. Then this “new account plan “ with 1 day’s notice (less data/more$) was the cherry on top

  • Tegan_Writes 🌴Tegan Jones on Holidays Babyyy🌴 (@Tegan_Writes) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

And if you don’t - there are people at Telstra, Samsung, Edelman, HP, Campaign Lab, Microsoft/Xbox, Pulse and MORE who I’ll always do my best to pick up for right away. Sorry that I’m a bit **** at email some of the time!

  • i386 James Dumay (@i386) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’ve checked status for surrounding suburbs and there’s been no outages reported. So you are under reporting. Outages are understandable but not reporting on them then marketing yourself as the most reliable network is not on.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’ve been asked about network settings which I’ve reset today but today is the first morning since July that I’ve had more than 1bar signal at home, even before network settings. Let’s see what happens through the day. No progress on app or account plan yet

  • OneEyedWriter63 Brett Hatchman (@OneEyedWriter63) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra, they've done it again, only this time via a private number with a recorded message saying: 'your internet connection has been compromised. Please press 1 to fix it.' Thought you should know.

  • i386 James Dumay (@i386) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@steveathon @Telstra The problem is a fat middle management with 35 yo UTS degrees in “it business” who just *** cover to improve their KPIs.

  • BeauGiles Beau 😷 (@BeauGiles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@notsomadboy @FantaRising Leases are gone now for Optus/Telstra/Vodafone - all plans are month to month and you pick a phone to pay off over 12/24/36 months (usually just the retail price split) - move plans up/down each month - or just bail at any time and just have remaining phone payments to pay.

  • OneEyedWriter63 Brett Hatchman (@OneEyedWriter63) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

to me over the phone she hung up. The number she called from was a Sydney number, but she sounded like she was at an overseas call centre. She may have been on the up & up, but why hang up? If it's a scam I thought you @Telstra & @Optus should know about it. Brett.

  • OneEyedWriter63 Brett Hatchman (@OneEyedWriter63) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

A 'Heads Up' for @Telstra. Just got a call from a lady who said they worked for you wanting to reset my password for my internet as she reckons it's currently in public mode. Only problem is I'm with @Optus. She said she already new my password & when I asked her to repeat it 1/2

What a day NBN guy came and fixed the problem that goes back to when we were fighting with Telstra about our landline- issue sourced from the same pit on the verge. So far so good.

  • p_terg 😷₽᷀᷁᷇᷈€᷂᷊᷿᷉᷃᷄᷾᷆᷍₮︠︡︢︣︤︥︦€᷂̩̼̫᷇̓₹⃚⃓⃖⃜⃕⃛⃔⃡₲̻͉̥͊̽😷 (@p_terg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia What about equipment provided by NBN? Never experienced these issues before your equipment was installed. What is the difference between your own-brand cable-adaptor and the Netgear Telstra Cable Adaptor CM450-1TLAUS? Can I put the old one back that used to work perfectly?

  • p_terg 😷₽᷀᷁᷇᷈€᷂᷊᷿᷉᷃᷄᷾᷆᷍₮︠︡︢︣︤︥︦€᷂̩̼̫᷇̓₹⃚⃓⃖⃜⃕⃛⃔⃡₲̻͉̥͊̽😷 (@p_terg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia @telstra Received my bill for the first Two Months service Plus a call-out fee I’m sure I signed for all of that somewhere However I am currently applying for the first month free given the (ongoing) issues we’ve had 🤞 (PS- I got an automated response to my DM)

  • i386 James Dumay (@i386) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra The problem has been occurring for a week now and the status page is not updated. I don’t buy what you are saying. What I do believe is happening is that Telstra is systematically underreporting network issues to make network reliability stats look better than they actually are.

  • LieletteCalleja Lielette Calleja (@LieletteCalleja) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NicoleREDLynch @Telstra The problem is that they offshore and they have no staff to take their calls! I left @Telstra for this reason. Wish I could leave mobile for them but no other network gives me coverage 😬🤢

  • AdamNotMadam69 Adam! (@AdamNotMadam69) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@backupbear Vodafone charge $5/GB now if you happen to be overseas or on an ancient plan. Both Telstra and Voda just slow you down if you download too much. It’s only Optus that charges $10/GB now

@mcmungawar @Aussie_BB 10x easier to deal with than Telstra when there’s an issue also in my experience

  • thefrankreport Francis (@thefrankreport) reported

@CorinnaWho Don’t know about them .. can tell you I recently switched to @moosemobileau from Telstra and all has been just fine. They use Optus network so pretty good coverage and sensational value with mobile month to month plans.

  • M9Billy Billy m9 (@M9Billy) reported

  • pangolincovid Its Time (@pangolincovid) reported

Voting indy in Tas? Think again. Independent Senator Brian Harradine agreeing to support a further sale of Telstra; vote crucial to sell off 16.6% justified it saying he got $170m Tasmania compensation package. **** the rest of Aus, says fed Harradine! VOTE LABOR BASS.

  • jane13barnes 💧Jane Barnes (@jane13barnes) reported

@NeilMcMahon You would have more success with Apple to fix but really ought to have the faulty product replaced by Telstra 😩
