Signed up for $30 pre paid monthly, Optus immediately deducted my last $300 out of my bank account and refused to give it back Took me three weeks to get a refund from an Oz call center, the offshore people flat out refused and wasted hours

There are 2 existing NBN services there, and when ordering from Telstra, although it took 2.5 hours to complete 1/2

In the old days everyone had a rental phone and was charged for it. Some people (or their children) often then provided purchased cordless phones but never returned (or informed) Telstra to remove the rental phone.
