  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@leisa @sherifmansour @Telstra @Optus @teltra As a long time customer of both - it's hard to split the difference sometimes. Both treat new customers far better than existing ones.

  • sherifmansour Sherif Mansour (@sherifmansour) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@sdomsta @Optus The irony was in my setup I couldn’t even login to the Telstra app - was stuck in some loop were I basically couldn’t do anything other than wait on the phone for hours.

  • AnneGor77871669 Anne Gordon (@AnneGor77871669) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jonty_hare @samuelh512 @Telstra_news @Telstra That would be great if TELSTRA 1.doesn't hang up on you. 2. You can't contact Telstra maybe now they'll realise that having call centers overseas is STUPID. I need to change my entire package for home ph. New mobile and internet plan & Foxtel I'm leaving telstra now

  • kellilgray Kelli Gray (@kellilgray) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Im in Mosman and have a red light on T modern and NBN box flashing online light. I’ve tried power resets. No outages or problems when search my address. Please advise. Thanks.

  • sherifmansour Sherif Mansour (@sherifmansour) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@philoye @Telstra Spoken to @Telstra Twitter support about a week ago. “Someone will call me back”. Whole thing is becoming a bit of a joke.

  • skylxrksays SKYLXRK’s at least a C+! (@skylxrksays) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@joshh_dp In recent years I’ve gone Optus > Telstra > Voda and I can say that at least Optus tried to come up with compromises whereas Telstra basically told me to suck it up. I haven’t had to seek support from Voda yet.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@marcuskelson @AussiemacJ @Telstra Took us 147days to get a existing service connected & now half the download speed for what we pay........but the real problem is the LNP Government that destroyed our NBN 👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿💩🤡💩💸💸

  • Enschway Enschway (@Enschway) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@stillbaALin @Brawlator @Telstra This is after us spending 30+ hour on the phone with them in late March trying to sort shit out

  • StewartWalton Stewart Walton (@StewartWalton) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Hi Matty. I cannot find any option to message an actual human via your solution. If you cannot provide the item bought please cancel and refund. If you can then you need to tell me when I should expect it, not leave me in the dark for 2 weeks with a vague 'expect delays' message.

  • DebCansdell 💧 Deb Cansdell 🌱 (@DebCansdell) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@hughriminton Well, they are going to have to fix those Telstra black spots and improve coverage!

  • TrentWPS Trent (@TrentWPS) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra your 5G service is appalling. I've been using for about 6 months. I live in Sydney CBD and work in Wynyard. I've been relying on WiFi 85% the time to access Facebook, Twitter, Email, basic browser usage. Very disappointing.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@prkaye @NBN_Australia That is "we are ignoring your question in the hope you go away. I can't wait to check with Telstra again to find them say "no, NBN paid us $11b for all the infra, it's their problem."

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@royfrancisbrown @ssharwood @NBN_Australia @Telstra I thought they acquired it, then realised what a steaming pile of crap it was, and decided not to bother using it. Optus and Telstra cable largely shadowed each other anyway. No point having both for the majority of locations.

  • WoolfordBruce bruce woolford (@WoolfordBruce) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@marcuskelson We pay 70 per month for unlimited broadband and home phone (myrepublic). 15 per month each for Aldi mobile. Unlimited calls etc and more data than we can use. So $100 per month total. Aldi use Telstra network.

  • Tony_Sycamore TECHFX TRADERS (@Tony_Sycamore) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Can u fix my internet pleasssssse it’s been down for 4 days !!!!!

  • chuppa Steve (@chuppa) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Gees, even @Telstra complaint form doesn’t want to work at the moment. No staff, and no forms 😱

  • LucaAndolfo Luca Andolfo (@LucaAndolfo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I can’t reach out your customer service. I ordered the NBN package for a commercial use, Ordered 2 weeks ago!!! We urgently need someone to contact us!!!! Shocking

  • LucaConfa80 Luca Confalonieri (@LucaConfa80) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I lost count on how many times I restarted my devices... No help doing that.

  • sherifmansour Sherif Mansour (@sherifmansour) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Mate, I’d 1) take a hard look at your call center blatant lies saying they’ll call back - not once but 4 times and 2) stop selling a product you can’t deliver on on your website - that’s a lie as well. It is virtually impossible to become a Telstra customer.

  • swandives Georgina Swan 🎣 (@swandives) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Please help. Have tried everything and need to speak to someone. Still waiting on a SIM after three weeks and getting desperate. There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact you.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TheRealBill700 Bill (@TheRealBill700) reported

@andy_penn Your Shahirah Said she could help no problem, next call 5 days later said she would get tech team to look into this, now a month later nothing, if Telstra is happy to provide 5g which then disadvantages other customers you won’t have customers! 50+ Properties

  • L34louie Louie (@L34louie) reported

@Telstra hello Telstra, do you have any staff working? You are not answering phones, strange for a telecommunications business and the " live help" link you sent to me has had me chatting to her for an hour and now says she has to transfer me to another department!

  • joelrbarry Joel Barry (@joelrbarry) reported

@Telstra internet's been out for 3+ hrs, support says there's an outage - what is going on?

  • sydneyspurs Sydney Spurs (@sydneyspurs) reported

@bwalen @NoGoodStoryEnds @Telstra After I tweeted ours did too. Until the next Telstra outage! 👋

  • TheRealBill700 Bill (@TheRealBill700) reported

@andy_penn Good for you! We live in central metro, no hogh buildings or trees. Since you rolled out 5g we stuck with 3g? As 4g reception gone, sometimes 1bar 5g but 90% time we have 3g! Called Telstra, many times, promises but no help? Telstra staff 👎🏿

  • ToHVids BigToH (@ToHVids) reported

@IvyOnTheQt none of our telcos are great in any way. vodaphone never assumes responsibility for fuckups, telstra are masters of the sneaky surcharge and optus are heartless uncaring wankers.

  • CuteCatCarla1 CuteCatCarla (@CuteCatCarla1) reported

@ChikenAU Just come back to Telstra. People might **** on them for whatever reason, but they're pretty reliable compared to any other ISP I have ever used. 😺 Worst case, you only go on their 250MBPS plan...

  • Astrix_au Astrix_au (@Astrix_au) reported

@Telstra I want the 100/40 I used to be on I can max that easily as I’ve been doing for 2.5 years. I get 57 down now my line can do 132/50 even as per your email.

  • JamesTrilla2 James Mifsud (@JamesTrilla2) reported

@simongue6 @DavidSandow1 @Telstra I’ve got Telstra ,Optus and Vodafone towers in line of sight, less than 3 kms away and still have patchy service. Have you researched starlink if it’s available around here?

  • joelrbarry Joel Barry (@joelrbarry) reported

@L34louie @Telstra They apparently dont have customer service staff outside of office hours - messaged them 3 hours ago. It's funny that those are peak times for their service.
