    Am I the only person thinking @Telstra's "5G" mobile network is utter trash? For the last week it's been abysmal. And yes: I've cleared the cache and restarted my device.

    @mazt_t @turnbull1949 They use pretty sophisticated computerised robo calls I'm told. The computer dials numbers at random and so on. You can't block it because it has never called before and bypasses the do not call register. Try calling Telstra, they cannot advise any real method to stop it.

    @NickyWill100 @vkhosla I’d been a Telstra customer previously until they launched a startup directly competing with a startup I’d cofounded. They blew out our acquisition cost so much (because they didn’t really care) that they were killing us. So I couldn’t wait to leave them.

    Getting help from the @Telstra chat service is like pulling teeth. None of them seem to know anything, you get transferred around and the next person never reads what the last person went through.

Funnily enough when Orange took over Hutch, the place became idiot startup central burning cash like it was confetti (have experienced that twice). They made fun of the Hutch founder for counting tp rolls. He had to come back and right the ship.

    @slsandpet With Optus for 10 years. When I moved, I asked them to connect me at the new place. No, they said, we have no service there. Telstra came, the tech pointed and said “that’s an Optus box there”. I was assured that emails would continue for 3 months. Account deleted in 24 hours.

    Almost 20 days @TPG_Telecom could not deliver a modem..confusion,promises, no update, silence and frustration. Absolutely customer unfriendly organisation with fake processes being in place.. shall I go to @Optus or @Telstra now..who can help me?

    @lesstenny @RNBreakfast I wasn’t listening this morning, but my thoughts are, rain - our infrastructure never considered there would be rain, mobile coverage infrastructure not keeping up with demand (I am 13km from Sydney GPO on a high point - hopeless with both Telstra and Optus), and NBN no doubt.

    Ok, I’ll buy the prepaid card to cover me for two weeks and port my number across to that. Oh sorry, we don’t sell the prepaid cards for our service in our @telstra shop. You have to go to a supermarket.

    @rup31 @Telstra Apple seem to want to help but of course their app works everywhere else but on Telstra TV. Their tier 3 escalation is to engineers. Telstra’s tier 3 means going to a Telstra shop. 😐

    Nearly 24 hrs after the Port Macquarie storm and the phone line to my house is still hanging dangerously low over the road despite reporting it last night to @Telstra if a truck decides to turn down my street, someone's going to get badly hurt. Total silence since we reported it

    @Telstra Hi - I’ve checked this out and has an outage listed from last week and no end time. Original end time was 8pm but now there’s nothing listed in the app and the phone still isn’t working :(

    @Telstra N/63DDE9DE. It might be an Apple error code, but the problem is Apple TV plus works on everything I own except for Telstra TV. I simply can’t log in. Seems to be lots of chatter about this problem with Roku (who makes the box)

    Why are there never any notes on your system? No follow up, all on the customer to waste hours to sort out. @telstra messaging app loads like once a day, I have uploaded photos, details etc and still they have no idea
