Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Kurrajong Heights and nearby locations:

  • skylxrksays SKYLXRK’s at least a C+! (@skylxrksays) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@joshh_dp In recent years I’ve gone Optus > Telstra > Voda and I can say that at least Optus tried to come up with compromises whereas Telstra basically told me to suck it up. I haven’t had to seek support from Voda yet.

  • WoolfordBruce bruce woolford (@WoolfordBruce) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@marcuskelson We pay 70 per month for unlimited broadband and home phone (myrepublic). 15 per month each for Aldi mobile. Unlimited calls etc and more data than we can use. So $100 per month total. Aldi use Telstra network.

  • sherifmansour Sherif Mansour (@sherifmansour) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Mate, I’d 1) take a hard look at your call center blatant lies saying they’ll call back - not once but 4 times and 2) stop selling a product you can’t deliver on on your website - that’s a lie as well. It is virtually impossible to become a Telstra customer.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@royfrancisbrown @ssharwood @NBN_Australia @Telstra I thought they acquired it, then realised what a steaming pile of crap it was, and decided not to bother using it. Optus and Telstra cable largely shadowed each other anyway. No point having both for the majority of locations.

  • sherifmansour Sherif Mansour (@sherifmansour) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@sdomsta @Optus The irony was in my setup I couldn’t even login to the Telstra app - was stuck in some loop were I basically couldn’t do anything other than wait on the phone for hours.

  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@leisa @sherifmansour @Telstra @Optus @teltra As a long time customer of both - it's hard to split the difference sometimes. Both treat new customers far better than existing ones.

  • DebCansdell 💧 Deb Cansdell 🌱 (@DebCansdell) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@hughriminton Well, they are going to have to fix those Telstra black spots and improve coverage!

  • StewartWalton Stewart Walton (@StewartWalton) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Hi Matty. I cannot find any option to message an actual human via your solution. If you cannot provide the item bought please cancel and refund. If you can then you need to tell me when I should expect it, not leave me in the dark for 2 weeks with a vague 'expect delays' message.

  • Enschway Enschway (@Enschway) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@stillbaALin @Brawlator @Telstra This is after us spending 30+ hour on the phone with them in late March trying to sort shit out

  • TrentWPS Trent (@TrentWPS) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra your 5G service is appalling. I've been using for about 6 months. I live in Sydney CBD and work in Wynyard. I've been relying on WiFi 85% the time to access Facebook, Twitter, Email, basic browser usage. Very disappointing.

  • chrisrauchle Chris Rauchle (@chrisrauchle) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@phazzles yep, Telstra don't care and won't fix it. If you're on an iPhone you can send all numbers not in your contacts to voicemail and that will catch most of them. (Any legitimate caller will leave a message and you can call them back)

  • AnneGor77871669 Anne Gordon (@AnneGor77871669) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jonty_hare @samuelh512 @Telstra_news @Telstra That would be great if TELSTRA 1.doesn't hang up on you. 2. You can't contact Telstra maybe now they'll realise that having call centers overseas is STUPID. I need to change my entire package for home ph. New mobile and internet plan & Foxtel I'm leaving telstra now

  • houkat007 Houman Katuzi (@houkat007) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@loganthefirst Also authentic & honest while ignorant don’t make you a genius. You’re still an ignorant genius. He’s done amazing work with Telstra, SpaceX etc but I’m afraid his legacy will be tarnished by his awful tactics and lack of class.

  • LucaAndolfo Luca Andolfo (@LucaAndolfo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I can’t reach out your customer service. I ordered the NBN package for a commercial use, Ordered 2 weeks ago!!! We urgently need someone to contact us!!!! Shocking

  • exploreeats99 Anthony Pham (@exploreeats99) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra My internet is having connection issues. I have tried every method that Telstra 24x7 app has told me. I have tried to call Telstra but I keep on getting an automated response telling me to call a later time. Please help.

  • Aussiegirl126 MsChez 🦘 (@Aussiegirl126) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@renzylart @Telstra Apparently our area will be without Wi-Fi until the 8th. Not that #telstra told us. It's still stating that our area and my house has no issues. #telstra was always going to let Australia down though

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@prkaye @NBN_Australia That is "we are ignoring your question in the hope you go away. I can't wait to check with Telstra again to find them say "no, NBN paid us $11b for all the infra, it's their problem."

  • swandives Georgina Swan 🎣 (@swandives) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Please help. Have tried everything and need to speak to someone. Still waiting on a SIM after three weeks and getting desperate. There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact you.

  • sherifmansour Sherif Mansour (@sherifmansour) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@philoye @Telstra Spoken to @Telstra Twitter support about a week ago. “Someone will call me back”. Whole thing is becoming a bit of a joke.

  • chuppa Steve (@chuppa) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Gees, even @Telstra complaint form doesn’t want to work at the moment. No staff, and no forms 😱

  • tgc17088306 T.C🏌️‍♀️🏎🛥🇺🇦 (@tgc17088306) reported

@6PRbreakfast @Telstra Can’t knock their customer service on twitter, a month or so ago when it was bad Telstra would respond to my tweets within minutes

  • SareSaysGo Over It (@SareSaysGo) reported

So frustrating @Telstra. Your service offering is NOT ACCESSIBLE. This blind person just wants the basics... calls, msgs & navigation. But you're over-complicating things & excluding some disabled/vulnerable ppl. Hey @visionaustralia can you help advocate? 3/3

  • JamesRO21209910 James ROWE (@JamesRO21209910) reported

@davidj_m @andy_penn i worked as a Telstra dealer for 8 years. dont bother with Telstra if you have problem. ring the ombudsman they are quicker and easier to deal with

  • yourfeedofme Good old npzman (@yourfeedofme) reported

I'm glad @Telstra payphones became free not so long ago. But I think we are still paying for it through poor maintenance of those payphone.

  • calebcluff Caleb Cluff (@calebcluff) reported

the cases are closed without resolution or agreement, their outsourced phone assistance is helpless, and the spin is remorseless. I’ve spoken to insiders who say the plan is to run down services in the hope satellite will pick it up; that no one in Telstra has the skills to…

  • mickpalmer25 Mick Palmer (@mickpalmer25) reported

@9NewsAUS We telstra customers get over 30 texts and 100 calls a week from spammers and that includes those in the government power save crap.

  • InQldMedia InQueensland (@InQldMedia) reported

Telstra is rolling out a brand-new SMS scam filter as the country’s biggest telecommunications provider encounters a surge in malicious text messages on its network. #testra #scamfilter #telecommunications

  • syvergy James Pinnell 🇺🇦 (@syvergy) reported

I think you can basically summarise the differences between telco sectors in the US and Aus by the fact that Telstra just rolled out passive, free, network wide SMS filtering while US telcos rolled out awful paid apps.

  • CvetkovicPaul Dr Paul Kovich (@CvetkovicPaul) reported

@SusieNoonan2 Try calling Telstra regarding Foxtell service !

  • SareSaysGo Over It (@SareSaysGo) reported

Trying to help my disabled Dad with his @Telstra account settings, but it's virtually impossible. He's blind so doesn't use the Telstra app, and he doesn't email, so no Telstra login setup. We spent 2hrs on call centre calls and they failed to fix. 1/3
