@Telstra That is not true at all. I’ve requested to speak to somebody with no result. It’s poor service.

  • iB3nji Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra_news “Telstra operate the nation’s only 5G network”. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure @Optus has 5G too.

  • MischNarracott Michelle Butterfield (@MischNarracott) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’m a patient person. However when my very elderly parents in Kiama are left without a land line for over 20 days & I discover that someone in @telstra or @nbn didn’t create a ‘Task ID’ for the third time in 3 weeks I reach a state of total frustration. Pls help.

  • iB3nji Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@blake_andersson @Telstra @Optus Go Boost Mobile! I’m with them. Same Telstra network, unlimited Apple Music, more data for less. Pre-paid.

  • roseannebyrne 💧🌱pragmaticleftie 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇪💔 (@roseannebyrne) reported from Kiama, State of New South Wales

@LesStonehouse @Telstra @Optus Oh He's. It does seem older folk were totally neglected in all of this. No NBN no phone. Cutoffs before they were ready. Expectations they'd understand it all. Neighbour is nearly 90 and it's been awful trying to keep him connected. All on his own.

  • Cat41968 Cath L (@Cat41968) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra trying to activate a prepaid service....has now taken more than 24 hours. Not good enough! Please advise!

  • MickinGong MickintheGong (@MickinGong) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

Telstra. Waiting to have the account activated. Takes up to 4 hours. So far, 2 days. Message from them " There unfortunately is a delay in the activation" No shit Sherlock. Call to complain. " want to lodge a complaint" Sorry, wrong dept, this is billing" transfers me to billing

  • Shane_Szakacs Shane Szakacs (@Shane_Szakacs) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

Been in my new house 7 weeks & @NBN_Australia keeps canceling & will not give me a reason why. Hopefully @Telstra complaints department can help. #internetsucks

  • mariewalsh18 Marie (@mariewalsh18) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

    @trivialshite @CoryTalksPod @Telstra Customer Service = Oxymoron 😠

  • BronwynCarlson Dr Bronwyn Carlson (@BronwynCarlson) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

Trying to solve a @Telstra issue with endless hours on hold, when I get through I get disconnected, no call back- shitty service. I’m starting to doubt any humans work there. Time for a change of service providers!

  • IamKaanKaban Kaan Kaban (@IamKaanKaban) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Internet after today’s issue is cutting out. I’ve turned it off for 10 mins, turned it back on, I’ve hit the reset button, it starts to work for a bit and goes off again, I had a similar problem a week ago. Is there a problem in my area? Fairy meadow 2519 NSW

  • shenmaxiu 沈马修 (@shenmaxiu) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @janehansen2000 This is about cellular and backhaul capacity issues; you already have the metrics on your systems to indicate the issues, @Telstra

  • cambuslangtrain John Roach (@cambuslangtrain) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@LesStonehouse Faithful to Telstra for 40 years despite our blind loyalty not being reciprocated in quality of service or pricing. Switched to Optus at NBN connection time some years back. Could not be happier with Optus!! Stuff Telstra "and all who ro(r)t in her!!"

  • iB3nji Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

    @mrdanielfeo @Optus @Telstra Agree, 1.5Mbps is terrible.

  • dan69rr Danielle Moustoukis (@dan69rr) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra relocation are still ongoing. Our ‘Connection Manager’ Ankita last contacted me on Thursday to say on Friday our old phone numbers were being cut across from our old address and there would be minimal disruption. Our case ref with her is 2-26877336684. No inward calls since. Help!

  • BronwynCarlson Dr Bronwyn Carlson (@BronwynCarlson) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@Telstra That’s a poor excuse sorry. The phone calls never get through to a human regardless of what you need. Your text service is inadequate and also not a human. The most response I’ve received is on Twitter because it’s public. I fear for my 75 y/o mum dealing with Telstra

  • thomas2020 thomas milazzo (@thomas2020) reported from Myramount, State of New South Wales

@Telstra is the NBN network down in Gerroa NSW? I get no signal

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • bigbadgus_ big gus (@bigbadgus_) reported

@Telstra, australia’s leading telco has told me to find a new mobile provider after telling me that my 0.8mbps download speeds on a 5g network are caused by high traffic. multiple calls and conversations/ escalations. pathetic that they still take no ownership.

  • Combat_Hawk 🌈🏔Colin Ellis 🎱🏳️‍🌈 Get Vaccinated Now (@Combat_Hawk) reported

Ok so it’s now 8 days and 4 messages from @Telstra giving repair date for phone/internet connection. Message stated it would be today. No show. No contact. Telstra failed us after bushfires & COVID last year. It seems it intends to fail us this year. #consistent @stemplemanmp

  • WJ23A Will Jones (@WJ23A) reported

@danielbowen One of your few bad calls Daniel. Payphones are just Telstra billboards which the Govt allows to be placed for free on every corner, blocking space for bike parking & pedestrians & polluting public space with private ads. Remove them all & replace them w public infrastructure

  • Nowun6 💧Nowun🐀 (@Nowun6) reported

@jrisles @CaseyBriggs I only went with them because of an old Foxtel cable into my house and at the time I was on ADSL that was very slow and getting slower. There was no NBN in my area yet. I could get really fast internet via cable, but only through Telstra. It worked well until lightning strike.

  • PerfectStormo Tim Norman Like A Dragon (@PerfectStormo) reported

@LSDNinja @DavidHRobb You log in with your existing Telstra account and it works. Their NBN modems form part of that network as well.

  • GeorgieJBurgess Georgie Burgess (@GeorgieJBurgess) reported

@Nette8Two Haha yes! I think the Telstra guy they interviewed today did actually call in from a phone box as well as lots of random members of the public, including a bloke in down town Campania and Mark from Bellerive, and the lines sounded really clear!

  • TaranReynardWhy 💧Taran Reynard Whyte💜🦊🌈🦄 🕯️😷🐭🐀🐁 (@TaranReynardWhy) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@RobertArnol Well, fancy Telstra doing something right for a change! Wonders never cease!

  • indoors_remain remain_indoors (@indoors_remain) reported

@bekscilla I'm trying very hard to see this as 'Telstra will help people whose phone batteries have run out while they're away from home' instead of 'ah, in other words Telstra can no longer be arsed to maintain their public phones so they'll die out one by one' o_0

  • carbonNRG Jeff N (@carbonNRG) reported

@Telstra @jimmyrees Brilliant idea, well done Telstra, I’m sure this will be a massive help particularly to the vulnerable

  • NFPublication Kish ⛓No Consent=No Contract ⚖️ (@NFPublication) reported

Ep0chTimes: Telstra public pay phones now free; Granny hater HO terrorising school kids; $300 bribery for poison bandied; J@ck bought popular Aussie service ‘Afterpay’; 2,500 Qantas employees lose their jobs.. (wonder why so few are travelling.. 🤦🏻)
