@Telstra Fix your customer service model it's broken. This is about your business model not about me having a single problem you can fix. Have you ever tried being a customer and trying to get to talk to someone?

@talkingwalk It’s run by Telstra. It’s overseen, however, by the federal communications department. It is a commonwealth entity. Telstra operators take the calls and transfer then to the correct state emergency call centre.

Hey @telstra I have a billing issue that I can't get worked out via live chat or a phone call. I was just told by an agent that he couldn't escalate this to a supervisor as they were working from home. I know this can't be the case. Can someone please contact me for followup

@Telstra I have tried 3 times to upgrade my telstra NBN and never got past the chat widget. 5 hours in one instance chatting to 5 different people and with each new person, I had to repeat everything. Finally, a notice comes up saying they are now closed, try again during following hours.

@IsJamesAlive @Telstra Number 5 should be an option to connect with an employee that actually understands what I’m saying and doesn’t speak in horribly broken English that is barley understandable. If there’s one thing a support rep should be it’s fluent in the language of the customer (or legible)
