@oldjoeschmo @nineislands There's dozens of service providers, they all use one of Telstra, Optus maybe Vodafone. Yes, Aldi does use Telstra, I use Aldi, rated best pre paid service provider in AU often.
No worries start afresh with TELSTRA, and if possible don't have a mobile. They are trouble.

@AsennaWealth @Telstra Did exactly the same to me...no seat ..just a line that goes no were as they attend new sales first. Never again.
I was using the Optus network as a Virgin customer until they folded, but I switched to Telstra despite Virgin customer being recommended to join Optus, meaning that non-Optus customers have also been caught up if they've used the network through another provider.
Why is it impossible for @Telstra to say their hours of operation on the IVR. Do you need me to come and work for you to teach you proper and appropriate customer service? Or do you enjoy being Australias worst telecommunications company?
