@JulianBurnside My partner had an awful encounter at a Telstra shop yesterday. He queried when told they couldn’t see him for four hours. He just wanted to make a purchase which would have taken five minutes! His questioning this ended by him being asked to leave the store. He’s not happy.

  • TeriMOfficial Teri M Official (@TeriMOfficial) reported from Yamba, State of New South Wales

@Telstra why is your app messaging so slow to load. 2 days I have been trying to get on to talk to someone about my pending internet connection. No phone numbers to call either. Not good enough.

@Telstra Did not expect anything special but a basic service would be good. Was happy to buy and did buy pre paid Telstra’s broadband data and that has failed to work. Telstra supplied extra mobile data but that is of no use without good mobile service.

  • lilford60 louise Nichols (@lilford60) reported

@wonnaruamessiah @SingletonArgus Well it’s a joke. Even the Telstra technicians could not believe we had no mobile. service. Let’s face it we are just a couple of kms from the fourth most visited region in the country.

  • ultimablackmage Jean-Paul Bartolomei (@ultimablackmage) reported

Australia has some of the worst internet speeds in the world & A LOT of horrible internet service providers to boot! @Optus & @Telstra top the list & have a stranglehold on telecommunications here in general. @NBN_Australia is maintained by Telstra & both own all the cell towers!

  • lilford60 louise Nichols (@lilford60) reported

@Telstra Even sending that tweet required me going outside. We have no mobile service in our house. I can only dream of 5G reception.

  • SimonBurns4 Karl Burns (@SimonBurns4) reported

@FrancisFlanner3 And it will be lucky if your not in a poor reception area to make a call to anyone thanks to Telstra shunting everyone onto mobiles then giving us a second rate system

  • Claire_Juranic Cez (@Claire_Juranic) reported

@Telstra why did someone call me asking for someone with a name I never heard on Friday at 7pm!!!! If you can’t get my name right, what else are you stuffing up I am STILL waiting to hear from your complaints department.

  • David_J_Harley David J Harley (@David_J_Harley) reported

@ScottRhodie @Telstra If they're forcing you onto pre-paid, have a look at Aldi. They use the Telstra network; unused data gets rolled over for up to 12 months. I'm getting by on $5 instead of $50 a month. My phone is a phone, sometimes a camera but no SM while out & about.

  • savadistana feks? (@savadistana) reported

@breakfastroad Damn, you had Telstra money?

  • the_scotsman_ the_scotsman_ (@the_scotsman_) reported

@ScottRhodie @Telstra I'm still on the old system, post pay using Bpay for NBN and mobiles. Our area is getting the free FTTN to FTTP upgrade in a week, so I'll be changing to another RSP for that, as I refuse to be forced into their new **** direct debit system.

@Just_Krystle_M @Telstra Is it so we can’t have burners like they do in the states and be bad asses walking around with 10 phones doing deals?
