@JulianBurnside My partner had an awful encounter at a Telstra shop yesterday. He queried when told they couldn’t see him for four hours. He just wanted to make a purchase which would have taken five minutes! His questioning this ended by him being asked to leave the store. He’s not happy.

@Telstra why is your app messaging so slow to load. 2 days I have been trying to get on to talk to someone about my pending internet connection. No phone numbers to call either. Not good enough.

@MicheleS_Aus @Telstra This one is large, plenty of staff. Yes, they were busy, but one had time to explain, at length, that no service was available for four hours. When queried, this employee walked away and a more senior person asked partner to leave. My partner was shocked, he’s not a rude person.

@Anthony_Klan @Optus I haven’t used them for years. I’ve heard many bad reports with them on NBN - I went with Aussie Broadband and it’s been excellent. For mobile, Vodafone seems at least as good in metro areas and is cheaper, or if you needed wider coverage you just have to go Telstra…

Leigh up again now. He's asking about two senior fed officials in the U.S. stepping down after benefiting from insider trading. Leigh says RBA is "behind the curve" on this issue - the only published disclosures are from Lowe and Guy Debelle. Notes Lowe holds Telstra.

@lincoln_holmes6 @6NewsAU Well then looks like telstra is about to get a bunch of new customers. If I can't trust her to run my state how can I trust her to run my mobile service provider?

@Optus does it again ... another outage in Helensvale with nothing but "Under Investigation" ... which is still up from the last one, 2 days ago! It's sad when even Telstra was more reliable.

@Lapsed69 @Optus If I was with Optus I would also move away because of this news. I hear Boost are good, and they use the Telstra network. @Optus seriously what the hell are you guys thinking, Gladys has zero integrity. This is not a good look for your business.

@JeffSundstrom @GladysB @Optus Hi Jeff, go with Woolworths. They use the Telstra network, are as cheap as chips (I use a $25pm plan) and give you 10% off a $500 grocery shop once a month, so it's actually free! Cheers Richo
