@Kop_this @freodockers @rupertmurdoch Hmmm, this I did not know. I haven't gone down this path since I lived in Melbourne and Foxtel was the only way to see Freo games. Kayo is $5 a month for Telstra customers.

@phbarratt If your landline is a Telstra service, dial *21101# this will divert all incoming calls to your message bank. TI

David Herne (@AunatEridu) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@Telstra as a long-time customer, I am effectively cutting-off from assistance looking at my plans. Your chat bot is running around in circles and my local store will not take my calls.

Freocookster ⚓ 🐀 💜 (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
Finally got a number for @Telstra tech support and all it does is confirm your issue, sends you an SMS with a link to the app and promptly hangs up. A phone company with no phone support #gofigure

💧Michael Dowling-Demand renewable covid recovery! (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@markmorey5 I get around 50Mbps but STILL have buffering issues EVERY day. And I’m with Telstra. Australia is a joke. Why do we always get third rate infrastructure and crap services? Labor build to gold standard. LNP sabotage everything... From Medicare to NBN NDIS CSIRO ABC. #auspol

Sarah (@sezlloydy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
Ahhh prank calls from supposedly @Telstra in relation to a service I don't have with them on a Tuesday morning are fun!
-
Magne (@sarle) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@ServicesGovAU i have recorded a voice recognition phrase every.single.time. that I call. For some reason, my previous recordings are not there. I have mentioned this to customer service numerous times and they have no idea why it does that. Maybe get in touch with @Telstra
-
Freocookster ⚓ 🐀 💜 (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
Come on @Telstra, you're a phone company so let me speak to someone about my tech issues, ON THE PHONE! Your app and its bots are hopeless. If you care that little about your customers, maybe it's time you were given a clip.
-
Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@FreoLou @MatthewPassmor8 @FreoPope It's likely that your Internet is delivered over copper (FTTN) or possibly HFC. FTTN - depends how far the premises is from node. Has the problems with poor instalations, pits letting water leak in etc NBN HFC - uses higher frequencies than Telstra = dropouts. TI

If you thought Telstra couldn't be any more dismissive of its customers, check out this response: "Our phone options are limited at this time. Can you tell me what happened when you chatted with them?" No the auto-support was useless, I need a phone number!
-
David Winkless (@docker_dave) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
**Be careful ppl** Just received a call from “0455 768 977” claiming to be from Telstra technical support who said my internet line was being used by o/seas ppl for illegal activities & they would need to shut it down 1/2

Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@frdmccull @Telstra Minimum is 2 year contract. If you cancel before that you have to pay out the excess on your next bill.
-
Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
It seems @Telstra billing & credit management teams are off the air. Calls to 1800816025 are failing with an announcement that Telstra has technical difficulties & technicians are working on it as a priority. I don't think this is part of @andy_penn's T22 strategy. TI #FAIL

Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@Glenina57 @Telstra @StGeorgeBank Ray is correct. I did try to warn Telstra Management before they sent my job to the Philippines. I hear that Telstra wants to bring all its customer service back to Australia. Round & round it goes. Thousands of jobs lost Inc mine - supposedly with no impact on service. TI

Kelvin Smith (@kelvinrsmith) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@Telstra I cannot get help on receiving additional wifi boosters, which I have paid for already....your support staff keep running me through trying to reboot modems & change settings, without listening to what I am saying....& then it gets handed to someone else who starts again
-
johnshenton1982 (@johnshenton1982) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@Telstra had a SIM card with you for 6 years and paid it monthly without fail building up lots of data. Missed my payment top by a day and have lost it all. I find this very unfair! #telstra
-
Freocookster ⚓ 🐀 💜 (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@Telstra It's everywhere from Nedlands to Cannington. No reported outages in any of the locations. Last time it happened I was on the phone to a bloke who was clearly working from home in India - poor guy tried everything.

Wow! I just had a whole 30 seconds of internet! That’s right, 30 full seconds!! Exceptional work #telstra 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬Absolutely leading the way. This is why you need to avoid “Australia’s best network” (biggest load of BS - it’s actually the worst & the biggest ripoffs in Aus)
-
Carissa (@ccprincess_syd) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Telstra No one can tell me anything. I’ve had two technicians not show up. No explanation nothing! I’ll be reporting this pathetic service to the ombudsman.
-
Miranda Dempsey (@dempsey_miranda) reported
@Telstra your online messaging support services need to improve. A 4 hour conversation that went in circles, that different people took over on the 5th day trying to reconnect internet services that we cut off for no reason #stillnotfixed
-
Carissa (@ccprincess_syd) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Telstra why has it taken over a week to get my @NBN_Australia connection up and running. Twice now the technician hasn’t shown up. Your service or should I say lack of it is PATHETIC #TELSTRAFAIL
-
Kim Maurits (@KimMaurits) reported
@Telstra proving once again why they are bottom of the barrel in customer service. No landline or wifi, 4 p/calls, incorrect info each time. Can’t work from home so relocated leaving elderly dad on his own, hours lost on the phone, 36 hours and counting 😤😤 useless!
-
NathanJamesKnives (@NJKnives) reported
@Telstra Annnnnnnnnd.......Ghost town, yet again. Say you can't use the magic app, (as you don't provide rural coverage) and @Telstra all of a sudden doesn't give a **** about serving you as a customer. Just harassing you with bills during and extended outage that is the 10th this year.
-
Chris McLay (@chrismclay) reported
We've enjoyed @Telstra's mobile network for 14 years, and suffered their support. Today I learned they are going to increase our mobile bill by 40%, or $60/mth with no benefit to us.
-
Miranda Dempsey (@dempsey_miranda) reported
@Telstra The frustration is that I did nothing to request a change in my service, but when it was looked into Telstra said I had contacted another provider and was connecting to them so Telstra had to turn off my internet as you can have 2 NBN lines! I did not contact another service.
-
Kez @ Awesomely Unprepared (@kezunprepared) reported
@normal_ness Whoa! Yeah, we have very small, regular payments that are always the same amount so we rarely have any issues, but I know my parents have had absolute hell with Telstra!
-
Timothy Holborn (@SailingDigital) reported
@Telstra @Optus Fwiw: if the network knows there's an outage, it would be good if a notification was sent via text when #www doesn't work, providing an ETA of when it'll be resolved.
