  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra I now have 2 bills for a service that has not been provided. We all know what the royal commission into banking said about charging for no service.

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra @Telstra has all the info it needs to resolve the issues and email me as to the progress. There is no reason I should spend on second more on the phone. That is what really working to resolve issues requires: not shoveling costs (time) over to the customer.

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra You betya. 3 open issues with @telstra and 3 with the TCO. Still waiting for someone at Telstra to take ownership, follow through and resolve the issues, rather than having me chase them and wait spending my time, at my cost, on the phone.

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@PNSlipper @Galvin1920 @Telstra @MichaelWestBiz I hate to say I told you so. Well not you directly - but certainly @Telstra Management. I used to work in Broadband tech support before it got offshored to the Philippines. If your problem isn't on the script = you're stuffed. TI #LocalService

  • simon14021 Simon Phillips (@simon14021) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Hi Shelley none of the computers in the house have that connector, we also have the option to go over to 4G with the modem but even that is still to slow so I’m using my portable modem and phone data instead as that’s more reliable

  • benrfairless Ben Fairless (@benrfairless) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Hey Angela, this is not about business services. This is about chatting with Telstra using iOS Messages instead of your (quite poor) live chat options.

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra All details have already been provided. I should not have to spend any time reiterating this via chat. Up to case manager to follow up when house is going to be connected and why invoice has been raised for no service and contact me about resolution. #TakeOwnership

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@BrianMitchellMP @Galvin1920 @theTiser Forget the $900m that's peanuts. Try the several billion dollars that's been spent acquiring both the Optus & Telstra HFC networks. The Optus HFC was found not fit for purpose. They'll need to be a subsidy to replace the crap in the last mile with fibre.TI #NBN #auspol

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Had email contact about modem issue, which is not the problem, replied back (several times) but have not had any return contact. Still waiting for estimated connection date for lead in, and why I have been invoice for a phone service which Telstra knows cannot be provided.

  • LesleeHall88 Leslee Hall (@LesleeHall88) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Bad service #2 from @Telstra - sending registered post to the wrong address despite me telling two different people on the phone last week they had my address wrong. Was assured it had been updated.

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra 1-1809083625211 Outstanding issues: - phone service invoiced but not provided - lead in for phone not provided nor has alternative to leadin for phone been provided

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra The concerns are that I have been charged for a service that has not been delivered because the pre-requisites, a physical connection, have no been provided. An alternative, such as VOIP over 4G has also not been provided.

  • VirginBores VirginBores&Retic (@VirginBores) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

TELSTRA Fault. Due to a fault our 1300 number and our landline are both down. Please call us on 0408 454 130 until restored. Telstra advise service may not be restored till end of day @Telstra don’t forget us 😪😪

  • GurdevDinas Gurdev Dinas (@GurdevDinas) reported from Fremantle, State of Western Australia

@telstra account 2000 15880 2072 is $88.49 in cr. Please cancel the account and all services and arrange for a check to be sent out.

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@choiceaustralia Did finally find something on Telstra site, but not enough to give me a price for a cost budget. My comment was more aimed at the ISPs not being able to disclose the full cost of getting their service prior to contract agreement.

  • henrykemp henrykemp (@henrykemp) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@ProperBigG You’ve got to love quality customer service from @Telstra - I’ve only had good experiences with @iiNet and we moved to NBN over HFC not that long ago 👍

  • Biggy1883 #BiggyBot (@Biggy1883) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@ScorpioGCoast @JoanBloggs @Olfella @billshortenmp @NickRossTech If Telstra hadn't been privatised there would have been no issue

  • Biggy1883 #BiggyBot (@Biggy1883) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@JoanBloggs @Olfella @billshortenmp @NickRossTech Telstra received an absolute windfall because of NBN purchase of old network hardware to lay out fibre optics to the premises which became to the node under Abbott/Turnbull giving back Telstra it`s node to premises cons back-at Rupert`s request (Foxtel)

  • nexus_of_fate nexus_project (@nexus_of_fate) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Telstra is a shitty internet service

  • nexus_of_fate nexus_project (@nexus_of_fate) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra so everything was going fine then a few minutes the WiFi went to well crap thought the light is green but no body in the house can get connected

  • SCH451 SusanCH451❌AusCon (@SCH451) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra My mobile phones are with another network. And there does not appear to be a category in that link covering making a claim anyway!

  • phil_edman Phil Edman (@phil_edman) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

My business is being bullied today by @Telstra and the NBN network for the next 6 months! Everytime i make a call i must listen to a 30 second prerecorded message from Telstra about the NBN ( Issued by the Federal Government)until I change over!

  • scarb83colts Tim McCallum (@scarb83colts) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra_news no wonder your share price went from $7.50 to $2.50!Internet went down on Monday @ 12.30pm & still nothing. Contacted your Help Centre (lol!) & with net,2 Foxtel boxes & 2 Telstra mobiles, you don’t even have the courtesy to keep your customers informed. #pathetic

  • freocookster Freocookster (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra In all seriousness, another three hours on the phone - and running - is simply not good enough. Your poor call centre operators in India are forced to cop the flak. Really, really poor form. @Telstra is a national embarrassment.

  • freocookster Freocookster (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Good old @Telstra’s solution to our woeful internet connection? Downgrade your plan. Ah, no - we actually NEED first world Internet! #fail #worstcompanyintheworld

  • Randall1921 StephenReiffer (@Randall1921) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Thanks Jimmy but we don’t need to search to know we have an outage it’s obvious. What we would like is some decent service coverage.

  • Randall1921 StephenReiffer (@Randall1921) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra another BigPond outage by #Telstra I think that is 6 in two weeks? We live 4kms from a Capital City yet there equipment is constantly failing but what doesn’t ever fail with Telstra is the arrogant heavy handed account collections. You should be paying us!

  • schlip Simon Urquhart (@schlip) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra i will never order from your stupid website ever again. Nor will I purchase any iPhone from you again. You’re lucky Optus & Vodafone have terrible networks or you would lose all my business #failstra #preorderfail #iphonefail

  • GurdevDinas Gurdev Dinas (@GurdevDinas) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@Optus waiting over a week to have my iPhone orders processed. Emails telling me you’re working on it. Live chat cannot help. Are u @Telstra in disguise?

  • P_Couper Philip Couper (@P_Couper) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@PerrettReport Janine our NBN experience was 6wks to connect, then constant outages and speed averaging 0.2 to 10MB for over a year. Telstra sold us a 100Mb plan and could never deliver. 13 mths later we still only average 30Mb and the NBN is our largest infrastructure project #auspol #WApol

  • kelvinrsmith Kelvin Smith (@kelvinrsmith) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra I’ve tried that Tom @Telstra but was told of the long wait times to get an answer, & given I’ve now wasted another hour trying to resolve this, not sure I feel like spending all night on hold. Given @Foxtel @netflix and other apps work it can’t be a connection or hardware issue

  • oby_uno mark o'brien (@oby_uno) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@Telstra Thanks for the detail. That status page is a little unhelpful. It gives the impression that there’s some kind of planned outage (first I’ve heard of it) for 2 weeks! But if it’s just a window then that’s different.

  • oby_uno mark o'brien (@oby_uno) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@Telstra apparently I have an unplanned outage at my address that will take 2 weeks to fix?!? WTF!

@Telstra @JadejaPartners It's now day 4 of this problem and Telstra still have not fixed it. Absolutely useless!

  • japanese_reside Japanese Resident (@japanese_reside) reported

@Telstra @Mattjfisk This is an absolute lie! Read your Crowd forums and you will see people are still having problems as before. Not text messages (which means you can't do payments / log in etc...). No phone incoming or outgoing. Stop saying this is fixed! It's an absolute lie!

  • boxcar909 boxcar909 (@boxcar909) reported

@MRowlandMP @Ducatio_ It gets worse, record number of complaints with Ombudsmen and existing HFC (90's technology) dodgy Foxtel/Telstra network - now NBN - not in good shape!

  • Gen_RC Gen R-C (@Gen_RC) reported

@valorin @Telstra They are completely incompetent. I have had so many issues with Telstra service department in the past. I gave them one last chance, but I certainly won't be going back after this contract is up.

  • LFellowes Lew Fellowes (@LFellowes) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @Telstra Bookies are giving odds on which gets solved first : your internet issues or the US Government lockdown. This is going to be a close one if not a long drawn out affair either way.

  • pasi0161 Prof. Y. Hunt OBE (@pasi0161) reported

@Telstra It’s your Canberra one, the outage wasn’t long, but data speeds were slow

  • valorin Stephen Rees-Carter (@valorin) reported

Sigh, phone call from @Telstra complaints team. I explained my complaint and what I needed help with. They then proceeded to do EXACTLY the same thing the Live Chat support reps were doing that caused me to make the complaint. So much for listening to me...
