@MyArgue $170 p/month holy crap, you should have a private satellite for that price, iinet has good deals and the best customer service, optus like to believe they are too big to fail, so they'll rip people off wherever possible, just like telstra and vodafone.

@JordanRasko Telstra kindly advised me I was paying $15 a month for a service I never used. It only took 16 minutes on the phone to have it removed. Now (after a previous bad experience) I await with some anxiety to see if the next bill is correct.

@Telstra No reference number and the operator did assure me he had changed nothing else so 🤞. But your automated answering system could go more directly to an operator when told the issue is “something else”. I went in three circles before I escaped to a human.

Question time for @Telstra and @Aussie_BB If my current connection is cable 120D/5U @ $90 p/month with phone line. How come I have to get ripped off when I change to NBN? Why should I pay more for a worse service? No normal NBN can compete.

@Avigncourt Exactly but explaining that and trying to get that through to them is the nightmare part. Also explaining to them what landline connections are for the modems that Telstra still sends. One lady my uncle spoke to didn’t understand what ******** a landline was.

@kezcez @grogsy28 @Telstra Let's face it if Telstra is so naieve in allowing Indian Call Centres to 'manage' their Customer Service they deserve the loss of Customers that's going to occur. We'll be leaving in droves very soon.

@Qskeptic @Telstra @markhumphries I suppose you don't have any issue with China banning exports from Australia? You know Telstra does not ban any vendors? The Australian government did.
