    Arrived in BNE and switched my sim to Optus and was welcomed with a message regarding cyberattack on Optus resulting in customer information being stolen. 😳 wow, no firewalls or any contingencies? Shutting down all my Aus Bank accounts 😑

    If laughable that @PeterDutton_MP suggests the #OptusDataBreach is a problem for the government. It’s an Optus issue about a breach in Optus customer data. Let Optus sort things out and investigate first. #auspol

    @send2mc @trevorlong Yes, I also am having Optus email issues. No point ringing up as the lines are already blocked up with people worried about the data breach, remember don’t shoot the messenger even if they are in a OS call centre.

    @craigthomler @stilgherrian If I understand it right it’s an Optus CUSTOMER human error or an Optus EMPLOYEE human error. Either way, it’s an Optus company problem and responsibility.

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 Why did you not encrypt the customer data table in Teradata? Kelly Bayer Rosmarin is not fit to be CEO. Her track record with the Banking Royal commission at CBA proves she is absolutely incompetent, along with Ian Narev!

    My partner got the email from Optus and my jaw hit the floor reading it. “Don’t worry the network is fine…but your drivers licence, date of birth, name, email, and phone number have all been compromised”. I can’t think of a *worse* possible breach.

    @southwin28 @Optus I’m still waiting but have discovered Vodafone has a better offer. If Optus wants to keep me as a customer they will now have to match Vodafone

    In the last week or so, I’ve been getting 4-5 spam calls per day. Previously they happened once a month or so. Wonder if it’s got to do with me being an Optus customer and their massive data breach… which I’m still waiting to hear if I’m a part of

    @LadyDaemontus Only got 2 cause didn't have AOL internet/email. First we ever had was prepaid dail up through Optus. Also never had a MySpace cause just saw no point in it and was a cringe fest to me even back then.

    @Optus Hi Kyri- my husband Tony Breen has managed to get someone to come out again tomorrow. Our case never is 1001753311. Someone came last week, internet worked for about 2 hours and then died again.

    @OptusSport Yes would’ve been even more enjoyable if we could actually see what is happening in these games. Your streaming service is a joke optus. Bombard us with ads on a paid service and then run it on a 480p quality that would have been terrible 10 years ago. Hope the ACCC do something.

    @Optus I've never had ANY app on my phone that is at least reliable as the My Optus app. Yet again it doesn't load and when it does you can't log in.

    It does not help when I got my iPhone from Optus it was 3 weeks late and they sent it in a box with nothing to stop it from banging around in the box. Thanks for that btw @Optus, real good care of the product I signed a 3 year contract on.
