    @Optus 56mins on the phone trying to get Tech Support. Call is terminated as I get through. Get hanged up on when I call back. Taken a day off work to fix internet connection problems. Wanna help or??? 🙄🤨

    @Optus How about warning network when this is happening, it’s called customer service @VodafoneAU and @Telstra are all over me to switch. Maybe a credit for customers for lack of contract performance? Or do we switch?

    @rinseenrepeat @Optus Heads up...it just happened again following the heavy rain. If it isnt fixed tomorrow be ready to do this day ALLLL over again and still achieve nothing, until the issue is fixed by itself.

    @smh @zoesam93 I’m with OPTUS. My mobile phone drops out to regularly and the NBN is so slow at times I have to tether the phone to my computer. Get to work on these mayters Gladys. You are now actually working for Singapore.

    @SteveMolk Casting devices struggle and apps for TV’s have been difficult. But my user experience has been okay. Fans seem to forget the issues that plagued Optus sport during the World Cup. Now THAT was disastrous. But now winning awards for streaming app and retaining the EPL rights

    Hey @Optus - NBN modem issue, flashing red light and clicking, used ‘Message Us’ in app and for booted told to call 133937, but recorded message there saying to use app! What am I supposed to do to get tech support?? No internet, no home phone!!

    Update @Optus customer service said to wait until tomorrow when they’ll get back to us. Ref: 24369613. They’ve now cancelled the service and connecting a new service and this may take ‘some time’. No specific timeframe.

    @hganjoo153 2018-19 in Australia was on flat wickets, except a bit of life at Optus. Adelaide Oval was a day Test. MCG was very flat and slow. How was it challenging?

    @sativa_bell If you are with Optus, Amaysim uses that network and much cheaper. At present 5g still rolling out so unless you need super fast, would not worry about it.

    @Doanyvee In 2021, most nbn are about the same so you either go with an independent isp that does good prices or a main isp like optus for service for when it dies. Its def reliable and good

    Got home. No internet. Ben said it has been out most of the day. Went to Optus outage checker. Tried to type my street number. Somehow typed a chicken face instead. Optus outage checker doesn’t work with chicken emoji. Typed street address. Outage “under investigation”.

    @mootpointer We just had a power outage this morning and mobile towers went down within minutes. Vodafone was dead, Optus could pick up a very distant tower, like one bar, and boost mobile (Telstra) was dead. Maroubra, eastern suburbs of Sydney.

    @dfinvitro I’m not the only one. Glad I seen all these post this arvo. Optus was going to send out a tech (and probably charge afterwards) to investigate the issue as I assumed my nbn was the issue. Ours Works with our modem on 4g back up but Same as you when my nbn is connected into the tv
