    @EFTM @trevorlong Hi @trevorlong @optus launched eSIM support for compatible @Apple iPhones and Watches in April 2019. #keepup :)

  • BeauGiles Beau 🏳️‍🌈 (@BeauGiles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@zacorytaylor I just moved to Vodafone today, $45 for 50GB Considered Optus, but new plans are awful compared to a few weeks back (since Telstra played their cards, now the others are moving too)

  • skylxrksays SKYLXRK (@skylxrksays) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Another day another NBN outage... and right as I got home. Pleeeease don’t let this turn into an ongoing saga like it was with Optus HFC 🙃

  • chillnesses KR Dev 🇦🇺 (@chillnesses) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus fix ur shitty mobile network it never works. By far the worst carrier in Australia

  • scott_thewspot Scott (@scott_thewspot) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@zyzzyvamedia @adam_turner @Optus I never call optus for support, I've fixed all my issues via their twitter.

  • paloappie Chelsea Feltham (@paloappie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus I need some help from someone who isn’t totally incompetent. I’ve been without internet for a couple of weeks now and I’m getting the run around from your call centres once again (this seems to be a regular occurrence) and I’m about ready to make a complaint to the TIO

  • paloappie Chelsea Feltham (@paloappie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

After two weeks of no internet with @Optus due to “back end issues” with my relocation, I was told it could be a further 21 days to get connected. I cancelled my service. 30 mins after submitting the form on the @Aussie_BB website, my NBN was connected. Customer service folks!

  • nuenp Newbie_I_Am (@nuenp) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Tonight marks another @Telstra #fail. Simple request to port a no. over and it has taken a week to do! Then I find out the the issue is from @Telstra end #WTF. Moving my services to @Optus #incompetent #telstrafail

  • DemonicVel Vel (@DemonicVel) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@LurkingWolfox @hendikins Depending on how plans shape up next year might switch to optus. I have 0 issues with the Telstra network, and you couldnt pay me to ever use Vodafone again as their coverage in the train to work is useless.

  • Slacko_Mitch Mitchell Vladamotte (@Slacko_Mitch) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MissCBella @Telstra That’s shit service! I wish I was surprised though. I was just looking at Optus plans. They have free phone upgrades after 12 months. I’d switch if you could. Optus coverage where I live is just as good.

  • BoultR 💧RichardB ActiveCitizen (@BoultR) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@geoff_wales Was with Amaysim. Good service, great price But, Optus transmission just doesn't work in my new apartment! So had to say goodbye to Amaysim, reluctantly.

  • imJoskii Mike Joskii (@imJoskii) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Still having connection issues but noticed Optus are doing upgrades to my area, which explains it. Could be good to go as soon as this weekend or as far as mid-Sept. Can likely still stream Judgement.

  • MikePearsall93 Mike Pearsall (@MikePearsall93) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Compare this to @Optus taking 6 weeks and four different plans to move my internet service 3 doors down in the same street. 😒

  • NickBurrough Nick Burrough (@NickBurrough) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I raised a complaint on Telstra Website. I don’t need someone to tell me to switch on and off a service I don’t have! I moved to Optus last week. I just need the wire removed.

  • Stevenqoz Steven Quilty (@Stevenqoz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DeanRosario We did pay $130 a month Foxtel, now get Optus EPL, get Netflix thru a daughters login, Stan with Optus and Kayo thru my son’s second log in. Upshot we threatened to bin Foxtel and now get it for $39. Selfish but was so happy when Foxtel had all EPL. Optus very good now👍

  • meggsie79 MEGAN SAMUEL (@meggsie79) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@CynicalAU @Optus @TPG_Telecom Don’t do it @TPG_Telecom are terrible. At present we haven’t had email access for almost 3 days and they seem in no rush to rectify the issue. Also my NBN installation was an experience I’d prefer to forget. 15 missed appointments and sub-standard speeds

  • markc Mark Cohen (@markc) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus response to six hours with no service after four calls to various customer service no’s, two store visits and multiple emails… eh, try again tomorrow

  • trickyricky_12 RickyV (@trickyricky_12) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    **** @Optus I'm not caving in 🤪

  • superman2144 2144Superman (@superman2144) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus @networkoutage why is my nbn not working at Cumberland Rd, Auburn 2144 ...

  • Slacko_Mitch Mitchell Vladamotte (@Slacko_Mitch) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’ve already moved on. I left because you wouldn’t let me upgrade my phone a month early (I was a Telstra customer since I had my “hiptop” maybe 10yrs). So I saw out my contract and moved to Optus. They were just as good and cheaper. Im now on prepaid and it’s even cheaper again.

  • Carpo_31 Carpo (@Carpo_31) reported

@vernievalentos So you have an NBN box connected to an Optus modem? It's ethernet so I'd absolutely get a better quality modem instead of the Optus junk more than likely it's causing you the problems. Better equipment provides better connection and stability

  • craigrlonard Craig (@craigrlonard) reported

@JP__75 @GladysB @DanielAndrewsMP Gladys stepped down and went to Optus. Gee that went well for them.

  • DebauchedInOz DebauchedInOz - 💉💉💉 - ⚠️ (@DebauchedInOz) reported

@MissOliviaPe @ItsImogenGreene Sorry to hear that, I received an SMS from optus to say they were upgrading their network in my area (Chatswood) this week, it's one of the reasons I've always used different vendors for different services. At some point along the line one of them will screw up.

  • jsingh_cloud Jotpal Singh (@jsingh_cloud) reported

@Optus is the internet down in craigieburn, Victoria.

  • charwilmusic CHΔR (@charwilmusic) reported

@OptusSport @didiyaq OPTUS YOUR WHOLE INTERNET IS DOWN.

  • ARTCvan ARTCvan (@ARTCvan) reported

this isn’t the first time they’ve done it either. i’m sick of companies treating customers like nothing. this is in no part the employees behind the customer support; but it is optus’ fault for not knowing how to port over numbers quickly, unlike literally all (4/?)

  • ARTCvan ARTCvan (@ARTCvan) reported

i am so done with @Optus and their support and the entire porting number process: a 🧵 i have waited over 30 minutes for a number to be ported over to Optus (parents) and their support staff somehow didn’t know that i was asking for porting a PREPAID sim, not postpaid (1/3)

  • ARTCvan ARTCvan (@ARTCvan) reported

and overall it’s just a plain bad experience. i recommend that you never buy anything from optus especially since the cyberattack. (3/4)

  • PhilbyB I'm Phil Bayley (@PhilbyB) reported

@Tenash921 I have Fox but not kayo, so OK with that outcome. My comment re Stan was more about the way rights have splintered but the viewing experiences are uniformly still ****. It took Optus >5 years to be any good and I suspect that it's all imported & they just present the front end

  • MissOliviaPe 🎀 Olive Pearl 🎀 Melbourne 🎀 (@MissOliviaPe) reported

My work phone has been playing up lately and I didn’t get a bunch of emails until now. I am sorry if you have contacted me and I didn’t get back to you! Has anyone else experienced issues with Optus lately?
