  • adhdbusiness Untypical Business @adhdbusiness@mstdn.jp (@adhdbusiness) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Well done @optus. My current plan is $63 a month and gets me 160gb and unlimited international roaming plus 2gb data. The new plans are $59 for 100gb PLUS $5 a month for roaming with no data. I’ll either stay on my old plan or jump ship elsewhere because the value is bad.

  • lyng62 Lyn (aka The Tractor 🚜) (@lyng62) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus call centre staff are immeasurably incompetent it took three phone calls in order to cancel a service for a house I’m moving out of Not that difficult you would think. Gave them a date - 1st Feb It was cancelled within two minutes now I have no Internet…

  • msstraighty180 Tiffany (@msstraighty180) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

  • JVizzone John Vizzone (@JVizzone) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Wonder how the Optus customers are going? More than 18 months after some pirate called Service NSW and illegally obtained and changed my licence details to then access various institutions I deal with to steal from me, today Service NSW finally issued me a new licence number.

  • hugobrown Hugo (@hugobrown) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus is the network down in 2022 (Oatley Mortdale ) I've been on H+ all morning can barely tweet let alone use apps, its not even enough optus open app to check network status. Why are we getting these connection issues .

  • _marty_k Marty K (@_marty_k) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@developerjack You gotta wonder if there’s been a bank hack that hasn’t hit the news yet… & they’re trying to get ahead of it instead of the poor response a-la-Optus & Medibank

  • lumbers1978 jem (@lumbers1978) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

  • Bricklemoree Blake Scott (@Bricklemoree) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Deeply love how the @Optus App won't let you pay your God damn bills until they charge you a late fee.

  • HaisamMorhi11 Haisam Morhi (@HaisamMorhi11) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

You are an absolute joke @Optus Went into a store about an issue and they couldn't fix the problem and twice today I contacted the customer care centre, both times got put on hold and you hung up on me. I'l be contacting the ombudsman and moving my services to @Telstra

  • 50to39 Donna Longhurst (@50to39) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

The latest Optus ad deals with their cyber attack. Fair enough. My problem is they use the term 'learnings'. A word that doesn't exist in the English language. Lessons is the correct term, or 'what we have learnt'. If they can't get something that simple right, I wonder....

  • ProbalC Probal Chakravorty (@ProbalC) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Almost 20 days @TPG_Telecom could not deliver a modem..confusion,promises, no update, silence and frustration. Absolutely customer unfriendly organisation with fake processes being in place.. shall I go to @Optus or @Telstra now..who can help me?

  • vacant3rdman Anthony Horton @spacelizard@aus.social (@vacant3rdman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus I bought a 4G modem for use at a location that has coverage from your 4G network, only to find that it's artificially limited to 3G speeds. This is totally unacceptable. I want a refund so I can spend the money on a Telstra modem instead.

  • GT_AUS Graeme T (he/him)💉x 4😷 - 🌳🌲 🍃🌏 (@GT_AUS) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@janine_hendry @MargaretHollin1 @Optus Ah yes, seems things haven't changed since I dropped them a few years ago. Still fascinates me they are a going concern. Mgmt here and parent, SINGTEL couldn't give a rat's arse about customer service. 👎😡🤬
